The quality difference in the video produced by Tim's camera vs the other TAC videos released by this group is... impressive. It's clear that Tim has better video equipment.
@@TimConnor13 I hear you but, respectfully, look at the video quality out of your digital video camera vs. the camcorder. There's a big difference! And I don't say this to minimize your video editing skills.
Love all 4 videos! Saw you and Josh making booth rounds Saturday afternoon but didn't want to bother after the long day of shooting lol. My buddy and I shot Saturday and Sunday, idk if we did it right by any means, but we did outside in scoring, body 5, core 8, 1st ring 10, center ring 12. Some like that mini squatch didn't have all that so we went body 5, 1st ring 8 then smaller rings 10. Unless you called one of the small rings and hit, then 12. Other targets with more rings, counted into 14 as center. We shot with 1 mulligan each per coarse as well... and no pulling the line crap lmao had to cut the line! What a great freaking time. First TAC and we will certainly be back. Cheers y'all!
Awesome! This video is without any doubt the best 3-d shooting composition I’ve ever watched. It’s great to see some serious archers getting it done. It’s very refreshing to see some guys using their releases correctly! 👍👍👀👀
Very entertaining to say the least! The way you all feed off each other is comedic! This has to be the most hilarious TAC video of all time! Reminds me of the shit talking at our local Wednesday night 3D league. 😂
Calling score is always a good time when you are competing with buddies. Pulling the line is definitely a competition thing, but I fall into the "cutting the line" camp. If there is any doubt, call it out! Great video series and looked like all had a blast!
So damn dope! Loved this whole series. Tim, your video, whether it was the filming or the editing was definitely heads above the others but I sure enjoyed them all. Can’t wait to see what shakes out of the rest of the summer season.
Great video Tim! Awesome shooting and great to just watch everyone have fun! I learned a lot from just watching everyone’s for including grip and execution! Keep up the great work! TAC isn’t about loosing and winning but about having fun with the boys!
You did incredible on the editing of this video. I’m subscribed to all of y’all’s channels. Yours is definitely better quality over the others in the group. But loved watching all of y’all’s TAC videos. I have to go shoot a TAC event somewhere next year.
All four videos were cool. It was awesome seeing the different points of views and recording styles. It looks like it was a blast. With the first video I saw a little shake in your bow arm in the first few targets..I was like no he should’ve took the Darton. But you pulled through and shot great the rest of the weekend. It’s cool seeing guys that are fairly new like me but do very well and hang with the big boys lol. Good shooting to you all.
Absolutely awesome series! This finale was awesome! Great job Tim and all the guys! BTW looks like your pulling your head out of the peep on break anticipating the explosion. I had to work on this myself recently.
Good old mosquito country. At least you're not hunting and can generously apply some deep woods off lol. The hill country is fantastic; I lived in New Braunfels and hunted central/south TX (and some MX ranches) for 10 years.
We have weird targets at our club where there was no defined 8 outline, so the concensus was that the innermost circle was a 10, the second circle was the 8, and everything else outside of it was a 5.
@timconnor Dude! Best color grading by far on these videos. Anyone else curios what tim is shooting(camera/filters/editing etc) and using for these videos? Did i miss the equipment video?
Thank you my friend, shooting on Sony, editing Davinci resolve, always have an ND filter on and shoot 24fps for the story, and many years of editing! I appreciate ya noticing ✊
@@TimConnor13 thanks man! That Sony and DaVinci combo is 🔥👌may I press as to the slo-mo speed? I was guessing around 900 something? My old cine mind is loving the look and feel of the combos!! Keep it up!
I've been noticing MFJJ went back to that Stan Axis release over the clicker. Has he explained why? I don't remember hearing anything. Great video sir! Amazing quality
Good video! I would love to see a recap video on the Bear bow now that you took it to tac! Watching you shoot the bowtech vs the bear, it looks like you feel a bit more uncomfortable with the bear. I know you haven’t had much time with it but I’d love to hear your thoughts. Mathew’s owner myself but I love the breakdown videos.
Brandon and MFJJ definitely had their game face on. I would have bet money on MFJJ to drain that last shot. So on the small ape, there is no 8 ring, so anything outside the 10, is in fact a 5. You just can't form your own imaginary line and keep the integrity of competition fair. Excellent video production!
Bro great vid man. Ive watched all sides of this shoot. Looked like a great time. I couldnt help noticing u are shootin a bear bow in the vid. I looked at ur discription and u had listed PSE. What bear were u shootin?
Pour one out for me gentlemen and gentleladies. I dry fired my core SR last weekend. TAC coming up in July... I'm hoping it's just the cams needing replaced... They are shredded...
Loved the whole series! I personally think you need to cut the line to many opinions on pulling it! also let the man let down people can wait on mfjj!!! Loved Brandon and Jerrod oh I mean James they were great too! Yall all keep up the good work!!!!
Well, you win some you lose some. But watching all 4 of these videos from all 4 of your channels was awesome. Kepl the content coming. Like I commented on Brandon’s video. Next year you guys need to have a chance for a subscriber to shoot with each of you for teams. Do some kind of giveaway for it.
Great great job Tim this is how all y'all get your subscribers up cause they're really good and entertaining God bless get elkshape and archery Shepherds, and throw Dudley in there next time, maybe even a charity match for charity less fortunate kids or kids with cancer, or our injured veterans, America will get behind that just some ideas, p.s. the hair and beard looks tough and you shot really good, I think bear ought to sponsor you, God bless and great job.
Great video. A little curious about how you are feeling with ths Bear after this shoot and what you'd change up now that you have more time behind it in not exactly ideal situations and conditions. Really only asking because throughout all 4 of the videos you guys put out, the other 3 appear to be holding stable and yours consistently looks like it has a lot of a left-right wobble going on. Know it was windy so not sure if it was the wind or fighting the bubble, but comparatively, your setup seemed to be much less stable.
Tim you should lower your draw length by a 1/4" to a 1/2". Everyone else's arm isn't as hyper extended as yours. It would tighten your groups, going to assume you're closer to a 28" draw not 29. Good luck buddy
ok the weird ape thing!! I'd have gone with the verdict ie 2 scoring rings... meaning "more to lose" unfortunately however it did have a high remote "12 ring" by the looks, either way no secondary ring etc so a 5 is a five.. the soon after "12score" this is one of my pet peeves ie, slightly tickling the line gets a high score(recurve its the outer score ring that gets the score) this 12 was maybe so tickling the rim of the 12 it should've been a 10 (me I'd say 1 per side shoots a single arrow that gives that rounds score no matter what) I'd still go with the doesn't clearly cut through the scoring ring line its the lower outer ring that gets the grade.. anyway, good shoot, enjoyable to watch
I'm with the 5 for the "weird ape" Bigfoot target as there is no outer 8 ring. That is why the outer high right small ring would be extra but suck if you missed. You might also only score the small center ring a 12 other 2 small rings 10s and the outer ring only an 8 by how you all were scoring the targets. This is definitely a case for examining a target first and agree on scoring before shooting. I would think this type of target would normally be closer so you could see and call the high right ring and only get the extra ring points then. I've seen scoring where a target like that would be 5,8,10,11 & 14(called). Center ring being 11, 2 small rings off center 10's just inside large ring 8 (or "pulling" the line outside LOL), outside of 8 ring on target body 5 and a chance at 14 by calling the high right ring in the 5 zone. I have not shot 3D for many years and need to get back to it. I am living vicariously through you guys right now! 😉😉
Tim i know youve worked all this out with mfjj but just for shits i think you should shorten your draw .5 to 1 in for a couple weeks just to see if it helps you. I think it will really help your instability. Also practice speeding up your shot by about 2 seconds. Just a few tweaks and youre there

i'm barely a minute in, and that intro was a lot more solid/impressive than the other 3

Great video, as always. Tune into the podcast episodes we did to get some bts of the weekend. Also, make me look less old and fat next time, please.

next week!
Great content
Love the video ❤❤
It's a 5. But if It was that much contention I'd add a 13th target the keep everyone happy
Tim you should lower your draw length by a 1/4" to a 1/2". Everyone else's arm isn't as hyper extended as yours. It would tighten your groups, going to assume you're closer to a 28" draw not 29. Good luck buddy
Wait but the home team doesn’t ever lead off😂
12,10 scores only in my opinion on the baboon.
TIM, you should have gone to Redding!
Did the ranch fairy show up and shoot his heavy arrows?
that mini sasquatch was a trash target
Facts
I’m not pro but on the 100 yard baboon i would go 12 10 8. So hitting foam would be 8 I wouldn’t skip it.
Nail biter
The baboon would be 12 10 5 at the shoot I just went too. Actually got a low score because I shot a 5 on it.

anyway, good shoot, enjoyable to watch
so who is going to take all of your (group) videos and combine them into one with ALL the best shots and moments ?
Hey Tim Josh I’m thinking of a new hand held release. Any suggestions?
Definitely a 5
The fact you guys don’t call Brandon, B Mack for nickname is crazy
Hearing MFJJ shoot that lift, then Tims bow right behind it, Tims sounds like a rattle almost like a loose bolt?
Baboon, we score 8 if within 2" of 10 ring
What Bows are you all shooting
So how do you think you faired with the Bear? Do you think you would have done better with one of the other bows?
How do you enter these
Given the distance and the size of the target it should be a 8
I'm with the 5 for the "weird ape" Bigfoot target as there is no outer 8 ring. That is why the outer high right small ring would be extra but suck if you missed. You might also only score the small center ring a 12 other 2 small rings 10s and the outer ring only an 8 by how you all were scoring the targets. If he didn’t punch the trigger he would have scored more then 5

I know it would’ve been more important if you guys hadn’t lost , but I most definitely would’ve called that a 5 if here wasn’t an 8 area
Count from lowest number 5-8-10 “5 is always foam”.
It’s a 5 boys
No ring… it’s a 5😊
