You know you made it when you have a wall full of bows and you have practically every color Mathew’s makes. Not too ok mention all the uv stuff. That one little shot probably has at least a hundred thousand dollars worth of bow stuff
This video brings me back to the day I got lasik surgery on my eyes that’s legit how everything looked immediately afterwards Thanks for the thro back lol 😂
Say what????? Two videos from the goat in two days???? Wow…enjoyed this video a lot Chris….well done with a great job on specs and features of the bow itself…appreciate the hard work into this very much….well done Chris…looking forward to the next one😊
Yeah, he does have a dream wall. I wish everyone luck in the giveaway! I pray so hard I win. I want an X version of the lift so bad. I watch Chris every night & I practice archery every day. Even if it's just an hour or two. Watching Chris build these bows just adds to my amount of want for one. Much love everyone!
All the fellas with the sub 29" draws are going to buy this bow faster than Mathews can make em. Shoot this until you have kids or your kids get of age and then buy you the newest Mathews at the time. Generational.
@@fishingmaster7The 5.5” brace height is a big deal for speed for low poundage and short draw people. Not to mention it’s less than 4 pounds bare. Only bow that comes close to those specs was maybe the Creed SDX and it’s a 30 ATA and a 6 inch brace with a lot more reflex and shorter riser.
@@ventureliefoutdoors630 I think its funny these guys talk up the bare weight then add 2 stabilizers, quiver, and a huge sight. all this speed info is given at peak draw and weight for each bow. if anything this bow is more unforgiving wouldnt it be?
If you swing the atlas arm mount out, you won't have any reference marks, but it would look better AND youd gain the leverage you lost from mounting from the back to the front
Awesome video Chris! Your videos are always the most informative and fun to watch. Been looking to upgrade my z7 extreme for a while and this is the perfect bow. Keep up the good work!
Just shot this bow today, and i was blown away. For some reason its seems to draw so much easier than the last years lift . Wonder if anyone could tell me about the forgiveness it has . I am seriously thinking about ordering one very soon.
I used precision cut archery with my bow specs to print out a sight tape since i couldnt find one on the Slider tapes that felt dead on and it works great.
Hey! That’s slick slick bow! I grew up in Michigan hunting whitetail. I took a break for about 6 years since joining the Army. Finally last year I purchased a NoCam HTR and now I’m in the woods again on my base chasing the deer again. I see so many bows on your wall, I’m curious if you’d ever think about selling one? It’d give you some space to hang your next new bow haha. It’s a long shot, but I’m shooting it!
When to see you smile like that and have fun it's amazing bro I'm not saying nothing negative I'm just saying let's keep it genuinely 100 like you know Matthews is not the only bow to be able to do something in a certain way they might be good but they have their flaws too like every boat
Holy s*** dude watching you on the drawboard scares the s*** out of me rocking that bow back and forth while you got it on the drawboard and you scared you're going to walk that string right out of them cams and not just that but damn son when you look back at the video watch how far them limbs come around that thing to me it looks like a ticking time bomb
Beautiful bow. I unfortunately had to sell my Chill R when my father past suddenly in 2016 for airline tickets to get to my mother and have never been able to get back into it. Was thinking about coming back to hunting and have always been a Mathews guy but after seeing the price of these new Lift bows I dont think its in the cards to be a Mathews guy anymore. I thought explaining the flagship prices 10 years ago for a bare bow was hard to the Mrs.
Hey Chris! I bet if you pulled out an Axcel Driver sight out of the drawer and slap it on the new Mathews, Ol’ tight UV wads would cough up an extra sight for you.👍🏼
Yeah, Chris. It would be nice if the negative sight tapes just came with the u v slider six hundred dollars for a sight and they don't even send you all the sight tapes. I have 2 UV sliders, and both bows. I've got it on, are in the negative sight tapes.
Are we able to add more pin dials for the sight tape? So we can have 3 instead of only 1. Then I would be able to see what yardage all 3 pins are at instead of only one.
It’s physically impossible sadly, at least for when you rotate the dial. Imagine you have your 3 pins set to let’s say 20, 30 and 40 yards and the marker indicating the yardage of the topmost pin, 20 in this case. Now if you rotate the dial, such that the marker is set to 30 yards on the tape (now the topmost pin of your sight is set to 30 yards), the second pin WILL NOT be at 40 yards. Or in other words: if let’s say you originally have 10 yard differences between your pins, when you rotate the dial, the differences between the pins WILL CHANGE. Hope this makes sense
You brought it up about the v3 27, I’m still shooting my v3 31, I was so hoping this year they would have a bow not 33” axle to axle. I have a 30” draw so I want at least a 30” axle to axle I’d love a new 31” I’m 6’1” I’m not short to me the 31” is compact ya know what I mean.
Bro, that bad boy is shooting bullletssss str8 6.5 creedmore status 😂😂 love my Mathews just wish I had the new cam adjustment... I got the phase 4 33 dangit
Between 2 stabilizers and adjustable V bar you bring the weight up more then a pound. Why would you not just setup a Mathews Title? Same weight as this build.
@benjminrichardson7936 yessir I'm fired up, honestly, didn't really need the upgrade. I shot the Hoyt AlphaX last year just to try it out, and my bow shop gave me a really good deal on it. but honestly, there's no better bow than a Matthews. And honestly, what they did with all the new accessories and tuning abilities I figure it'll be worth it
@@JHoutdoors10305about to dive in as a new bow hunter, and I kind of operate like buy once cry once so this bow or a Hoyt with all the accessories will probably be my 25 big purchase 😂 plan on using it for my 30th hunt in December.
The Lift X 29.5 has a back grommet to mount a rear stabilizer mount/back bar. There’s a 1 7/8” difference between the Lift RS and Lift X 29.5 Riser. The lift RS riser is 28 1/8” and the Lift X 29.5 riser is 30”. Mathews absolutely could have included a back grommet for a rear stabilizer/back bar mount. It’s sad to jerry build and jerry rig a stabilizer on a $1,360 bow. I’ll wait until next year when Mathews will have an all new lineup across the board. Every third year they usually come out with a complete overhaul instead of tweaking the previous model year. My luck they’ll probably keep the Lift RS where it’s new model and not just a refresh of the Image.
Chris Bee really love your builds lost all my hunting stuff and bow in the hurricane I’m in Nc really wished i could win one of your or could help me out with one
With the sight how come you haven't made a zero stop for the UV sight yet. My cousin milled one for each of us and it's so simple why not make one stock
I wonder if he's looked back at this video and seeing how blowed out it is and how white the footage is it's just not normal for him to release something and it look like not the greatest quality
Hey I've been looking to buy a compound bow for a little bit now the problem is I have no clue what I'm looking at or what I'm looking for. I wanna use this bow for hunting whitetail if anyone has any suggestions on what bow I should buy please let me know !

I'm not sure what you mean, Matthews hasn't put out a bow that is smoother, lighter, quieter, faster (per brace height inch) since the Heli M

It should be a rocket with a 5 1/4” brace height. I do want to try it though, has all the specs I’ve wanted aside from that short BH
