I found you at a vlog from April's craft room. I been going through your older vids. It didn't take me long to subscribe, I can't wait to go through your playlist
Cool, my daughter just quilted mine in, are you sitting down? Wait for it…. Silver thread with a Christmas bell pattern it’s so awesome! Thanks for watching my channel and commenting. 😊‼️
I’m really having a lot of fun doing Christmas gifts Jan. This Friday’s video is going to be so much fun and it’s a gift for a special friend, I hope I can wait till Christmas to gift it😳😂😳🤣
@@sisterchicksquilting I love when you have a new tutorial 🥰 I say ‘yea it’s Di’ you make me smile as the energy you have is infectious. Hugs to you ⭐️
Awesome!! Looks sweet with clean lines!! Time to explore the stash mountains!! Thank you for your perfectly clear instructions , and sharing your pattern!!
The best part about these Christmas gifts, most of them are going to get gifted at Thanksgiving because their decor are quilts that need to be out for the season😱‼️
What a clever way to use those scraps. The runner is adorable! You've done a super job. Hope you show us the finished project. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing what you have for us on Friday! CU then.
You know I will show you The finished table runner. Michele has already picked out the pattern to quilt it in. Thank you Nj and will see you on Friday, got to get back to filming for that video.😊
Adorable! Thank you for sharing with us. Also, I love it especially because no fancy and expensive rulers are needed. Wish I could give you two things mbs up for that.
I’m really loving that scrappy look too. When I first started quilting I had to have everything coordinated, now I really like to have everything scrappy. Thanks for watching Madeline😊
Although in this version they appear to be Christmas tree 🎄 🌲 🌳 I can think of so many other possibilities. I m afraid we might even think quite alike, lol. Go with red white and blue for July 4th next year please? I've fallen in love with triangle 🔺️ shapes because they just are never boring. This week I'm proud of actually finishing 5 or 6 different table mat or mug rug projects that have binding. It's good to practice one solid skill set at a time so you can improve the results 💪 👍 👌 😉. Happy sewing everyone 🇦🇺💜🇺🇲💚👍😊🖐
Hey Anita, you really did it this time😳‼️ you’ve got my brain going in all kinds of directions on new projects, I love it. That’s a good idea when you perform the same task many times in a row you get better at it, have fun binding I have four quilts to bind look for them in your mailbox‼️🤣😂😂 as always thank you for watching and commenting😍❣️
Dang it Jan! Vertigo is the worst, I’m so sorry to hear you have to deal with it. I’ll pray for a speedy recovery 🙏🏼❤️🩹 and hope you have a better next week. Sincerely, Di
Oh I just love this one!!! So so cute. I have so many Christmas scraps I might make one in traditional green and then I have this gorgeous blue set that would be awesome too. Thanks Miss Di for taking the time. Love love love it. 🤗🤗
I’m sorry you’re right I forgot to show that in my video. After I made the green triangles I just use those as a template so they’re the same size. I’m so glad you like it and thank you for watching my videos!
I love it! I laughed when you showed your green ratios because I have several of the same scraps! Love love love batiks! I think I will make this. Question, when making a.table runner, do you make a.whole quilt sandwich, or just a backing?
I always use 100% cotton or 80/20 batting. Which gives it stability and a place for the threads to lock. My fave quilting on a table runners is a heavy background pattern, it just looks so good. Thanks for watching😊🎄❤️🐥
Good morning to you, I am in need of your help and ideas. I have quite a few older womens handkerchiefs, and I would like to make a quilt with them. What do you think? Thank you for your time 🤗
Good morning to you as well Annie, and thank you for watching my videos. I’ve seen two handkerchief quilts at quilt shows. I believe that there are two options, one some people like to use their handkerchiefs as the actual fabric, and in that case I would back them all with Pelon brand SF 100. It’s a lightweight woven fusible interfacing. The other option that I’ve seen would be to stitch them to the top of your block right to the fabric, not using any interfacing. The second way would certainly show any fancy frilly edges if you have them well the first option would cover those up because it would be tucked in the seam allowance. You could use sashing or not I also think it would be really eye-catching if the hankies were placed on point. There’s just so many options. I hope my suggestions help.

If you google hankerchif quilts on theinternet there are many pictures to give you ideas. Thats where I saw the on point picture which I really liked.
Did I miss something? What size are the in between white triangles? Can’t wait to make this adorable table runner
