Nice tutorial. Your fabric choices and design are beautiful. They look very finished and professional. I need to make some (never have) so will get going! Thank you
I’m watching this while I’m supposed to be cooking supper! Oops. I can see why you are using the interfacing - do you happen to know which Pellon works best? My apologies if you mentioned it and I missed it. Beautiful end result - thank you!
I love how simple this pattern is! Thank you for sharing your amazing techniques with us!! In one of your videos, could you show a close up of the tool you use to poke the inside of the seams? I'm thinking I might expand this pattern a bit bigger and make Christmas placemats! You're so inspiring!! :)
Just now able to watch b cuz we had an internet outage right at the time I was gonna watch. Had to pop in and say "Hello!" And just how lovely these lil coaster/mug rugs are! ❤️ I am gonna make some between now and December. Wonder how many I will get done!? ☺️
@@sisterchicksquilting thanks for the reply. I just never use the interfacing and thought I was missing something. I am fairly new to sewing. Appreciate your videos. ♥️
Yes, it does. I want mine to be a little firm, thn I definatley press them with spray startch after I wash them. But if you're giving them away, who cares about washing and pressing! LOL!

Great gift idea Love it Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome, thank you for watching my channel 😊‼️
These are especially nice, because they absorb moisture from sweating glasses and can be washed if spilled on.
Very cute. Also quilt on the go works well for little mats. 😊Thanks
It does, thank you for watching!
❤however, after using you can't use for iced tea, as the coaster doesn't stop wetness. So, I used an old plastic folder inside. Love this though!
Great idea 😱, thanks and thanks for watching !
You are a really great teacher! I always get excited when I see you have a new video!

Can you share your coaster pattern? I have a couple, but i want a 5 or 6“ log cabin one.
Is the pellon up or down?
Di, Can you share with me why you use the pellon interfacing? I love these cute coasters!
Oh PS I am totally enjoying the 12 beautiful Quilts! You make a great sports reporter too!
I wanted the body in the caster and wanted them to be more than just fabric.
Thank you for watching😊

I got my seam roller at a paint store way cheaper than on other places.
Great idea!!! THanks for sharing!
I’m watching this while I’m supposed to be cooking supper! Oops. I can see why you are using the interfacing - do you happen to know which Pellon works best? My apologies if you mentioned it and I missed it. Beautiful end result - thank you!
Yes I do! I'm pretty sure I used Pellon SF 101 as I buy that buy the bolt and always have it on hand. What's for supper?, be right over, LOL, TFW:)
It is Thanksgiving here in Canada so I was roasting a turkey!
And thank you ever so much for replying! I’m going to make one shortly.
Hi Di! Love quick projects especially when they are this cute. Thanks for another great video.

Great idea! I love the placemat idea. I was using one of my Sewing machines little flat head screw driver. Thanks for watching!
I really never though to sew right sides together and pull thru...I've always used binding!
This makes them sew much faster. TFW!!❤️
So cute and fast! Thanks for sharing. Subscribed! Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃
Thanks. And thank you for subscribing ❣️

A ton, you will get a ton of them done❣️😂🤣😂 Merry Christmas and thanks for watching!
Pelion is a brand name that produces many products. Can you clarify what Pelion products you are using? Thanks
Pelion lightweight interfacing. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Why is it needed? I just use the cotton . Sew right on the batting.
Thank you for sharing this cute idea! Is the center a 2x2 inch?
Yes, a 2” square on the 5” coasters then I used the 2.5 “ square on the 6” size. Thank you for watching!
thanks for the vido
You're welcome!
Why do you need the interfacing? What’s it’s purpose?
It gives it extra body and makes the coaster a little more substantial. You could leave it out if you wish. Thanks for watching and asking Jody.😊❤️🐥
@@sisterchicksquilting thanks for the reply. I just never use the interfacing and thought I was missing something. I am fairly new to sewing. Appreciate your videos. ♥️
So cute! Does the Pellon simply give the mug rugs more stability? I'll be making a lot of these for Christmas - thanks for sharing.
Yes, it does. I want mine to be a little firm, thn I definatley press them with spray startch after I wash them. But if you're giving them away, who cares about washing and pressing! LOL!
Do you have a PDF ?
I don’t, I made them up with out a pattern😬 TFW😊♥️🐥
