    Hi.
Would this bike be suitable for my commute to work,8 miles a day for 5 or 6 days a week.
I need it to last for at least 3 years.
Also what are the service intervals?
    Many thanks.

Our FAQs page is here for any other questions: voltbikes.co.uk/ebike-faqs
How often should I service my bike?
Initial bedding in service: after 1 month of ownership or 100 miles riding (this must be completed within 2 months of purchase)
Low Use Riders (riding a couple of days a week throughout the year, generally dry days. Typical distance 5-20 miles per week): Quarterly Service with the change of seasons including 1 major service every 12 months
Medium to high use riders: (Regular riding/commuting throughout the year, all weather conditions. Typical distance 20-100 miles per week): Quarterly Service with the change of seasons and a minimum of 1 major service every 1000 miles

    Hi dear
Can you ride volt burlington in heavy rain.
Also while reading the booklet that comes with the volt burlington, it says that don't charge your battery unattended and to be honest it scared me a bit.
Can you elaborate on that as well because i work as a courier for a delivery company and i put my battery on charge while sleeping and also sometimes during the day when I'm at work with my other ebike.
    Thanks

It comes with a thumb throttle.
    But isn't thumb throttles illegal?
    Can you elaborate on that
    Thanks

Hi there, all our ebikes are road legal, the throttle / walk assist will only take you up to 5 mph, once dismounted, this will help you push the bike (walk assist), however if you are on the bike and push the throttle down, you will need to start cycling to get the boost, the throttle acts as a shortcut to the maximum speed 15.5 mph but needs rotation of the pedals which makes it legal in the UK. No rotation of the pedals means that you'd be riding a moped or a scooter that are registered with a number plate. Hope this helps.
