Today we're kicking off the trip to Philadelphia by...well, not eating in Philadelphia...in fact we're eating in New Jersey at a place called Rosalita's Roadside Cantina, where they serve up the infamous Kitchen Sink Burrito Challenge...
This one might look simple on the surface, but entrants only get twenty minutes to finish a burrito so thicc it could be on the cover of Men's Health magazine. This thing is stuffed to the brim with 5lb of pulled beef, pork, chicken, rice, beans, salsa and guacamole. If you've got what it takes to finish this sucker, you get the meal FREE and a pretty stylish winner's jersey too!

A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

My 5 year old said "wait, he didn't have any dessert!!?" And I had no answer for him, being shocked myself! 😂
On his trips, he usually forgoes dessert, because he's eating more often than normal resulting in (temporary) weight gain.

Well done Mr. Beard! I have only done 1 eating challenge in my life, and it was a giant burrito (the size of a small dog) called El Gigante which looked absolutely identical to this Kitchen Sink Burrito. It was 18 years ago, and there was no time limit. I finished it in about 95 minutes and thought I was genuinely going to die afterwards. I can't even imagine anyone conquering that thing in only 20 minutes or less. I can totally vouch for how deceptive the giant burrito is, and they are indeed WAY harder to eat than they look. Anyhow, the most important part is that I won the cool t-shirt and got my picture on the wall, but never again will I do an eating challenge. You are a freakin' legend dude! Thanks for all the great vids too! I wish you continued success on your journey. Respect. Beard on sir.

I did one food challenge with eating a basket of chicken wings in some hot sauce you had to sign a waiver to eat it then sit there not drinking anything or even wiping your hands with a napkin. I didn't need the napkin having licked my fingers clean. after 15 minutes, I won it with ease. Tee shirt and picture on the wall. 1 hour later I was throwing up. Fame was fleeting. 3 years later the place was torn down. Worth it !

I recently watched a guy eat a shitload of superspicy don-katsu. If you finish, you get it for free of course. That guy couldnt finish it and i watched several others fail too.
If you can handle spicy, that place is perfect for you!

Hi, i just wanted to say thank you for your videos because they give me self confidence and motivation when trying to push myself to eat a little more every time even if i am scared because eating makes me easily sick but i have to fight to recover from anorexia, i always remind myself that if you can eat all that food it's probably not going to kill me eating a couple of grams more of food than usual and it worked, i've gone from about 180 kcal each time i eat to 220 in about 3 months and i've gained 2kg thanks to you. Keep on going strong and again, thanks a lot. much love from italy.

It was kina hard to tell just how massive the burrito was at first, but when he brought out the silverware and u could see the size comparison between the fork and the burrito I was like whoa!

I was shocked to see you at a local place in NJ to me. That’s awesome! I’ve seen that on the menu and thought I could do that, but then the regular burrito fills me up and I realize there’s no way I could. Smashing job.
I've never been a challenge eater but I love eating the challenge foods, knowing full well I'm not going to be beating any challenges. Sadly, there aren't any good challenge burritos in my area. There used to be a restaurant called The Burrito House with an item called the B-52, so called because either there were 52 oz of meat or the whole burrito was 52 oz. It contained 5 different meats, I think 18 different ingredients, and was served on an enormous bed of rice. I loved gathering family members to share that thing.

I love how he mentions it's the first burrito he's had with a fork. I've never had an authentic Mexican burrito as a handheld before
I think "authentic" just means it is in a semi bowl like plate with some sort of liquid and with or without melted cheese on it. Hate it. I don't like my burrito to be in the middle of my soup.

So.. i moved to Texas 6 months ago from New Jersey.. and just started watching your channel yesterday.. so to watch you drive over the Verrazano, through staten island (where i grew up), over the outerbridge into New Jersey and eat at Rosalitas which was 2 minutes from where I used to live before moving.. man I would have loved to run into you there. Dude every upload your a winner, the ones you have "failed", I think you still rocked it. ESPECIALLY the 4mil Scoville noodle bowl that had to finish in like 8mins!? Ya right!! And you frickem almost did it!! Dude my eyes were watering and my mouth felt on Fire haha, brutal!
This is one of the few (4 or 5) of the challenges you've done that I think I could actually complete. Why? Tex-Mex. It's a lot of food, but there are some things I'd be able to wolf down just because nothing could stop me from eating something I love. XD
