Why? Towanda was able to run around town and the world as Toni's backup singer and assistant, and shooting production scenes for BFV which required more than frequent trips away from home. Andre was the responsible parent who stayed home. The children's routine and life were never altered or compromised because while one parent worked, the other stayed home and tended to the house. If Towanda were the one who stayed home while Andre worked, many of you women wouldn't have thought twice. Talk about double standards.

I doubt that Andre never worked. He has earned a bachelor's degree, so he certainly wasn't unemployable per se. And so what that he wasn't working outside the home. Towanda readily accepted the role as the primary wage earner. And allow me to remind everybody that she also laid up, pointed her heels to Jesus, and conceived two children wit' him. Not a smart thing to do if you're complaining that your partner ain't holdin' his own financially. Besides, If she wanted a husband who worked full-time consistently, then she should've married one. Towanda tolerated the situation for most of their 13 years of marriage. So she really has no complaint. Andre's worth as a stay at home husband/parent is no different from that if the roles were reversed. Some of the hypocrites posting here know that I'm right. Moreover, how much money would've it cost them had they hired a nanny or live in maid to tend the house and babysit the children if they both worked? That would've left the children with hardly any parent at home. Now, what sense would that have made? C'mon, provide your best answer.

So they are FINALLY going to address the whole 'Tamar unnecessarily throwing shade at her own sister on social media' debacle. I remember when this happened. There were articles all over the internet (you can Google it to this day). This was not too long after the episode in which the sisters were planning on doing another Braxton album and Tamar wanted them to sign with a label while Toni wanted to go the independent route. When Trina mentioned Toni's extensive experience in showbiz and claimed that Toni "paved the way" for her sisters, Tamar went ham and vehemently denied that Toni paved the way for her. This led to a showdown of epic proportion between she and Trina. Fast forward a few weeks later, and Toni wins yet another Grammy. Traci congratulated her big sis by commenting that she had "paved the way" for her to make an album of her own, and she was very grateful to her for that. I guess Tamar took that as a dig, so she did what any immature little sister would do; she typed and posted before she thought it through, and basically insulted Traci in the most public forum there is; social media. It was one of the meanest things Tamar's ever done, and I always wondered why no one ever mentioned it (although I do remember their being a preview in which Traci brought it up when they had their session with T.D. Jakes, but that part of the discussion was never aired). I assumed they dealt with it off camera, but I guess not. It is odd that they are rehashing this now though. I for one am looking forward to the conversation between T&T. I hope it's a positive and productive one. That would be a nice and welcome change. The Braxtons actually sitting down and addressing an issue without anyone screaming or walking out. Let's see how this one is going to play out.

In most states, both parents usually share joint legal custody. What Andre is seeking is primary physical custody meaning that both children will live with him a majority of the time. From where I sit, Andre has a pretty good shot given that he was their primary caregiver while Towanda spent a significant amount of time away from home earning the bulk of the income.
She should seriously consider allowing the children to be split. She should take Brook and Braxton should go with Andre. Andre could move nearby so that both children will have equal access to their parents. It's the best scenario possible. Towanda dearly loves her children. But so does Andre. Neither parent can quantify their love for the children over the other. Towanda better settle. She has the most to lose.

I agree that the children should live with Andre. But it wouldn't be sole custody. Instead, Andre would have primary physical custody. Towanda should agree to the children being split as her lawyer, Antavius Weems, suggested to her in a scene from the season premiere of BFV. The stakes are just too high and the pendulum is in Andre's favor.

Okay...Tamar had a point, I am not sure why she was singing with autotune with the beautiful voice either. However Tamar was wrong for saying it publicly and it was mean/unnecessary. Cuz truth be told 1/2 of all her albums had throw away R&B tracks that should have been released.
Tracy sings second soprano or alto and has a huskier voice. Ive heard Tamar make a couple comments about Traci's voice. Honestly is Traci's confidence was up, she could give Tamar a run. Tamar sounds best when she's with her sisters for contrast, though she doesn't BLEND WITH THEM.
