Say what you want about Iyanla’s tactics, but she always tries to get to the root of the cause. In all seriousness Tamar is a class a narcissist or suffers from a form of mental illness. Evelyn and Daddy Braxton played a big part in the family’s dysfunction together and separately.

I don't think she's a narcissist as she seems empathetic, but I believe she's been deeply traumatized and is stuck at the age that the trauma took place.
Anything covered up doesn't get healed. What's the point in attempting to do therapy if you're not going to be a willing participant?
