You need to create a folder on the hdd you can't just send it to the hdd. Put a folder called programs, or creative cloud, or whatever you want in there and that'll fix your error

I'm going to assume the apps are trying to default to my C drive, or my creative cloud app automatically went to my C drive and that's caused my apps to have issues installing. I have zero space left on my C drive, and I need to change it out for at least a 1TB ssd, but until I got the money and time I need my apps on my other drive.

I was not aware this method did not work on removable drives. I assume you are on a laptop, if not you can add more dedicated storage to your computer which will allow you to use this method.
Folks have reported that this method doesn't work with external hard drives. As I do not have one I have not tried to find a work around. Seems odd to me that they do not allow it to be installed on one. Possibly something to do with the number of computers it could be attached to.

Hey, I'm still having some sort of magical issue with the later step. It was fine. But then when I tried opening updating before uninstalling my applications as you said we should do, it just says my update failed. So is this not gonna work at all if I can't update my apps first? Because I'm having space issues right now. Dont know how I'm supposed to do this if I need space. I also have Unreal Engine which is eating up my space XD. I'm also freaking out because I need this right now for what I'm doing. I really help
Yes Saved files are not attached to the software so just be sure to remember where you have saved the files at. The recently opened files section and stuff like that won’t be available more than likely. Just use open file(or term depending on the app) to open you work. If you are using their cloud save and everything has synced it should re download into the new location you have selected.

I can't say for sure. I would assume they are saved under your personal setting and unless you tell it to also remove said data it should still be there. Can't say for sure tho.
It should updated the location if I recall correctly. When a new version(year) is released you may need to tell it where to install, tho I believe it will use the current location and auto install once it is ready.
I have not tried as of late, but the base process shouldn't change much outside of UI updates in CC. I have had folks say that it doesn't work with external hard drives.

Confused me.... What do you do on the OLD computer and what do you need to do on the NEW computer to move everything from the OLD computer to the NEW computer. You did not describe which and what to do on which computer. This video is for a single computer with two drives. If you have a new computer you can just install adobe creative cloud and install the version of the apps you would like to have. You will need to manually move your files however, or save them to adobe creative cloud storage.
Is this a best practice to have your apps on a secondary drive? My new system I am building supports 3 m.2 drives. I was thinking 1.system - 2.programs - 3.projects. I could also just get a bigger m.2 for the system and have the apps on the system drive. Just wondering if there is an advantage to not having your apps on your main drive? If your program drive is a M.2, I do not see any disadvantage to keeping them on there vs on your system drive. For me it was a size issue, my main drive isn't big enough for all of the adobe apps I have installed. Np and Thanks for the Feedback!

Seems like a limitation of Creative Cloud. As I have not ran into this issue I do not have a solution.

If it is assets I would assume you can just move it and re-link to the new location in either CC or each of the apps you need it for.

You can install adobe creative cloud on the new PC. This is for changing drives. iirc Adobe CC can be installed on two Computers at a time.
