Both look wildly fun.
If they change Lifecinders to allow u to choose your target it will be so good and potentially broken.
Excited for both trees honestly, but man the burst threat scares me.
It'd be exponentially better if it interacted with the "Red" talents in our tree better/more.
You best be on your way out of the instance after hitting engulf, because man those packs are gonna be itching for Dracthyr hide.
Excited for both trees and see how tuning shapes up.
Firestorm is cool and would be great if it followed the pack (like Viktors ult from league) or was a 1 to 2 second burst vs longer dmg.

While one is focused in make stronger Deep Breath (Scalecommander) other is mainly in Fire Breath (Flameshaper). Well I think Disintegrate will not be our only focus with the two new Trees and will give more complexity to the class but I think is good but maybe Living Flame can have more uses besides be a filler if the "Ruby Embers" interact with the tree.

Preheat, do you think that Engulf will work well with firestorm or help to make Firestorm a more viable option?
Firestorm will likely do nothing for the talent. Dead talent stays dead.

will the essence burn dot stack like ignite or will it say only count one tick of blue beam as the damage it does?
Will likely work like s2 dev bonus. Same as ignite.
I love the look of this tree and it's a nice alternative to heavier Deep Breath usage in Scalecommander. Maybe Dev Evokers will die so much from aggro in alpha/beta that we'll finally get some threat reduction lol. Just take Timelessness from the Aug tree and make it a baseline passive for Dev. EZ.
The easiest way to fix the aggo situation would be to make me tanky af so I can solo the dungeons and don't steal anyones aggro
I wish mass disintegrate called in two evokers that would target random mobs in a pack instead of your dracthyr splitting the disintegrate beam 3 ways looks kinda dumb IMHO.
I hope firestorm can work with engulf, and especially each firestorm counts as a standalone periodic effect. That would be so much fun.
Surely they're not going to use the same icon for Engulf as Firestorm... right? 😩

Engulf with consume flame damage is roughly equivalent to TTS fire breath and you have 2 charges
@@Preheat ok that makes sense, im mainly a pvper who delves in heroics and 20+ keys out of boredom, for PVP melee lobies scalecommander will be superior I don't quite know how flameshaper will sit, maybe with against pet classes and or casters? whats your take on that?
You under estimate renewing blaze, if it puts a copy on another player when group damage goes out that 2 people who need barely any healing, if you don't get good value skill issue detected
A lot of mechanics that deal damage over time only affect certain players. It's pure luck if if hits the right injured targets.
@@Preheat I guess he meant more for general healing purposes it protects the main tank effectively. if the evoker can land to that tank as the only surely nearby target.

Same boat has potential but also floor pov not fun but not as aesthetically exciting as scalecommander
I dont want paradox to be a choice node between spiral, spiral feels really good, just remove recall from the tree and put paradox there
I can feel the taste of floor already. Tanks are so going to hate us :) Just what we need - even more community prejudice against devastation(sarcasm) :) And here goes my hopes for range/mobility gameplay fix.
