NOTE: PATCH 10.2.5 broke this by moving the tick up one. I'm trying to fix it and will update once its done.
Not sure if its been addressed yet, but the way to make it work for ElvUI is to change the anchor of the red tick subaura.
Replace 'PlayerCastingBarFrame' with 'ElvUF_Player_CastBar' in the anchor settings of the display tab. You can use the 'choose' tool on the right or /fstack to find this.
Then you can resize and modify to your hearts content. Figured this out as I could see it trying to go over my "disabled" default castbar location.

I use Dorovon Cast Bar WA as my primary cast bar and whenever I import this WA it doesn't show up with the box to move and resize like in the video; nothing shows up on screen for it when I open WAs, actually. Since this is a Dorovon Cast Bar WA, does this mean it automatically should work with his cast bar WA, and if so, do you know how I would get it to show the ticks because right now it's not?
You can use this as your castbar then just make sure you remove the trigger for it to only activate during disintegrate cast

Man I wish I was a good Dev Evoker :( I only end up with like 145 - 150k overall DPS. I have 470gs. While my friend (retri) does like 220 - 250k....
for some odd reason , doesnt show up on my screen , have the eye open , even move the y axis up and down to see if i can see it but nothing x axis is at 0 as well
so should be in the center of my screen
Dumb question, I imported the weakaura and the square isnt visible/doesnt pop up, so I'm unable to move the weakaura becuase its not visible. Is there some setting I need to change or what am I doing wrong lol,
Maybe a dumb question but how do i change the frame strata? ive tried googling but to no prevail.. i use ElvUI and as in the comments you say to change frame strata but im not sure how.. Please help :D
Is the weak aura only for the red tick? Are the white ticks an option in the default UI or is that from a weak aura? Also thanks for the devastation vids :)

what red bolt? I think you are probably talking about the eternal surge proc or instant cast living flame?

Hello, anyone else having problems? i use default casting bar and for normal disintegrate it shows when to clip, but for chaining disentigrate it shows red thingie at second tick which seems really early? on vid it seems like it is in middle of cast, but sometimes it shows the red thingie at second tick?
That's how it should work. The red tick is only important for when you would clip / early chain otherwise use the penultimate

My main issue with this is that your Devastation WA pack disables the default wow cast bar and I cannot figure out how to make it appear again 😕
Same fault here. Wasnt a Setting in the wa. Plater was the fault in my case
Probably not my weakaura since I use default castbar but try using these scripts in order:
1. /script CastingBarFrame:Show()
2. /script CastingBarFrame:ClearAllPoints(); CastingBarFrame:SetPoint(“CENTER”)
3. /reload
Afterwards it should show up unless something you have is actively disabling it (Like plater or another class weakaura)
I still can't figuring out on how to make it work on ElvUI, it still doesn't show even after turning off Elvui sparks, any tips ?
If its disappearing it's likely just the other elements being layered on top of it. Try changing the frame strata on elv to be lower.
This weakaura keeps breaking! i set it up like in the video. but when i enter a M+ it doesnt work anymore

Sadly, it seems to be bugged with Elvui. Worked when imported, but after zoning it stops working until a forced reload.
Try changing the frame strata on it to be above everything else.

A mechanic that requires you to install a Weak Aura is not a good mechanic, they seriously need to revork Deva and work on new talents to make the spec likeable...
S1 was great...I lost track afterward...especially with these set bonuses that really don't add any flavour to the spec
