I love this build. So many channels on these cars act like everyone has 20k to drop in a car and have the best of everything. That’s not what it’s about. Make her run as well as she will with what you can afford. Honestly I’ll walk by a rich man’s trailer queen every time to see the old beater a good ole boy built with his hands.

I like to use studs on all four corners and that really helps alignment dropping the intake down on the heads. I am surprised Brew2l didn't chase those head threads for the reason he ran into.

By far some of the best Foxbody content on the internet. There is this zen like feeling in your stuff that calms me down when i build. I just finished a Foxbody restored to stock this week. 62000 mile car. There was so much learned during this build. Honestly, I wish I could be right there helping with this build. You have so much to teach these kids out there.
The biggest reason I love these videos are the real factor in them. Your a real guy not trying to build and inspire others while keeping the art alive.

Clean the head bolt holes in the block with a brass 45 caliber gun barrel brush in a drill... Counter clockwise.

When I was 16 and broke..I'm still broke..but when I was 16 I got alot of engines and parts from the junk yard..and anyone says used junk yard parts are not good you better check out how the BEATER BOMB RACE CAR STARTED OUT..I've stuck ford chevy dodge engines in cars and trucks they should not be in.i recommend if you ever do that check oil pan steering clearance first.2 times I had engines that did not fit due to oil pans

What are your experiences running 1011-1 gaskets if you ever have? I'm installing AFR165's and they call for 1011-1, but everyone seems to love 9333 PT1's. i do understand they have different compresed thicknesses and that probably plays into AFR's recomendation. think the 1011-1 is .41 and the 9333 is like .47

man you aint ever lied about that. I have been getting overcharged for over a year and every couple months they send me a check I take that money directly to the car fund .

Yes as they are needed. We currently have enough parts to keep us busy for a while though.

dumb question but if you have a stock 302 (maybe never opened) how likely are the lower heads studs to break? I think i have a blown head gasket ( im losing coolant) and im scared to open the head. lol
The simple answer, go steal one. If you're 16 you'll probably get a slap on the wrist. Besides after you wreck one, youll realize why there's not many stockbodys on the roads anymore. 😂 Jk, dont steal fox bodys thats a good way to get life cut tragically short.
