I'd like to see you guys just get it on the road and driving, then go from there. I think it would be cool to see you guys just do a small budget build, kind of gear it towards the young folks out there who are just starting to get into cars/foxbody's so they can see what can be done on a tight budget and of course see the work that they'll be getting themselves in to.
Love this idea.
I always enjoy the old school budget street car builds with junkyard parts, pull a 351 out of a truck, hand port a set of explorer gt40 heads, used performance cam, carburetor, t5 maybe put a good set of gears depending on what it has now. For a pretty cheap build that most anybody could do, it would be a decent car with enough power to be fun.
Im sure yall could swing a basic 302 with a carburetor and a nitrous kit. I think people will enjoy the process of getting it going and getting it dialed in

I like the idea of throwing some draglites on , a carb set up , used interior dyed and a budget paint job with a nice polish job

Use the 302 out of carbon fox, and make some content on rebuilding the motor for all of the DIY guys. Slap in a T5 that's laying around, GT40/40p heads, explorer intake ,find a dash and engine harness, and run the megasquirt that's always floating around in the background.
Id make it a "rat rod". Giver a e/b303 cam, carb, and glasspacks. cut the springs. trans is whatever is on hand. Could look at patina restoration work like vice grip garage. Jacked up door is character, bailin wire the bumper up. I think it would shake things up but not cause a stir.
Gotta be a 351w 5 speed carb nitrous since that's the only car u don't have one the channel

Primitive home made dash made with sheet metal and water temp, oil pressure, volts, tach, and speedo. Leave room for possible boost gauge. Have fun fabricating something. Or trade parts for someone who can build one for you, something a shade tree builder might do. As far as exterior keep it “M@d M@x Fox” looking looking.

2.3 Ecoboost corner carver... 5 lug swap, black 17" steelies from a newer stand. Do some fake patina on the Ecoboost to make it hard to identify, and keep people guessing. Do some patina'd race car lettering on it. Make all the parts look old and ratty like it's an old race car dug out of a barn.

Since the car is already so stripped down. Why not turn it into a canyon carver? Put wide wheels and sticky tires on it. Put a big brake kit on it. Hopefully, the sponsors could help and you could upgrade the suspension and tighten up the subframe. You wouldn't even need an interior or full dash. Two seats and a few gauges would be all it would need. With the fun you could have pushing corners you wouldn't even need a really high power engine. Just a really good radiator to keep it cool while pushing it.

Truly your choice, I really like the bare bones road worthy route, all of us Foxbody folks has stock style parts or never know what we all could donate, probably better to send money than try to send you parts, just my thoughts, I say do a live stream and discuss it

Autocross, lemons, drift, do they have rally cross in your area? Just having a car you can beat on is fun, take it to the mountains and play Dukes of Hazzard on those windy dirt roads.
I think do the bare minimum to get it running and roadworthy, motor, clean it up, slam it on the freaking ground and some nice looking rims! Maybe a full interior, or hell maybe even an interior swap since you're starting from a blank canvas, new edge, s550 if you can get it cheap, lol

Hell yea, I'd do everything custom/budget friendly, skinnies in the front, fat slicks in the back. Stock 302 with a big ole nitrous shot. Forget the dash, just make one out of some aluminum pieces, rivet them together and stick it in, a bucket seat and a harness. Maybe a roll cage? Send it
Budget build, get it back running and driving then do a giveaway. Something along the lines of what FoxCast did with 4 to 8.
I like where this is headed, keep it budget with tips and tricks! AND keep it manual!
Make it different. LS swap it with cage and custom made aluminum dash and such. All your cars are mint, make this one rough cut and a beast.

You mentioned sponsors & my thought (s) paint it back purple with the fat /skinny welds and build an "Official Sponsored Car" ... Aka Rolling Billboard showcasing each of the contributors / part suppliers used to bring her back to life " New & Improved " ✌💯

I did that to mine once when I got it stuck in the mud in a job site when I worked construction. Just kind of bent it in one spot.
But in my defense, mine has the X braces under there.

at the end of the last century, it would be easy enough to pick up a dead, optioned out Mercury Cougar V8 and swap most of it over--maybe even an electronic dashboard setup--into a roller like this (if you didn't want to go dirt track racing). but now even those parts cars are probably too musty and crusty to use without having to repair mouse-eaten wiring.
Why in the hell can't I find deals like this!

I think clean compared to what I started with my was just shell no dash no body panel everything was strip took few years peace it together but now it turbo 306 with about 600 hp tires and drive it a lot because u and neo mustang thank guys for inspiring people to get out and drive them get out and work on them

In an old coupe I used to have I had a stock bottom 306 with some 65 hipo heads with 1.6 rockers, Vic jr intake, 650 carb, e303, and a nitrous works 125 non adjustable plate kit that car went 6.40’s and that was 15 years ago

That for sure was a 4cyl car . You can tell by looking at the camber plates . I know I own a 2.3 v8 swapped Lx coupe .
would love to see you save this in a cars and coffee kinda of way. nothing crazy staying true to the budget roots of the channel. show the average guy (like myself) who isnt a mechanic but can do bolt on stuff how far they can go without breaking the bank and also what they can do themselves. where you use a sponsors product just let us know how we could do it if we didnt have a sponsor. you always do a pretty good job of doing all this anyways but maybe this could be a little more in depth for the beginners out there who are afraid to take on a project car. just my two cents thanks

Do it like the infamous project did with the shitbox fox !! Have subscribers and people who watch the channel donate parts and watch the build on the channel as the parts come in ! Then he drove it to detroit from texas and won best of show ! Car turned out great and it was all donated parts and he got interior dye and made it all
One color and re gasketed the motor and replaced major mechanical parts and its one of the best fox’s out there man ! Make a badass sleeper 347 out of it or swap out one of the set ups from ur other cars and put a bigger set up in the one u took it out of . Shoot man foxcast has parts cars all over the place ! Can it be done by octoberfesT with the donations ? Build it from now till then and then drive it to foxtober fest ?
You know I’m not on board with this most of the time but a junker LS makes sense here and be a lot of fun it’s already set up for it 🤷♂️
If your thinking race car and using pretty much stock parts I'd say throw on a carbureted setup with a 200 shot. Best way to go fast on a budget.

My only stipulation is NO small block Chevrolet but I know you'd never commit sacrilege like that. I don't know that it would be a very popular choice on the channel but I wouldn't scoff at the idea of 2.3 turbo possibly being used on a project at some point. I don't quite think that I use the term exotic to describe them but they're definitely different and that's what I like about them.
Ok so now i just got 1/2 way thru the video and you said ( tell me what you want to see) id like to see you build it with spare parts you have and make it run as good as you can as cheap as you can and call it the spare parts car … i have one i throw all my spare hot rod parts on just to drive around town .. if i had a converter for it id say it would run really good

302, 4 bbl, Ecam...simple, old school... T5 would be good $, but even a 303 three speed or C4 with 327 or 355 gear. Just make it a fun weekend driver to rip around in.... Not some highway demon cruiser. Junkyard Toyota seats 🤔
