I put a spare tire between my seat and the back seat in my 86 back in the day lmao.. dangerous af but I was 20 yo and just wanted to go fast.. shit that car only had front brakes lol... no bumpers, door bars cut out... just a 400 dollar car at the time with a ton of money under the hood. First time it hooked it broke my seat lmao... good times..

Way too much power! 😎 It did look like you sunk back in the seat, or seat was broken. You went back so much you pulled it out of first. That track was sticky for sure, that thing was trying to jump. Definitely say you don't look like a clown. It's just one of those things I would say. That relay seems like a bizarre thing to pop though. I have to imagine amount of breaking at the track percentage is bound to be high with everyone's homemade hot rods. I can't believe how fast you built that car!! Thank you for sharing the relay part number. This and the ecu grounds are the biggest problems. Once these are sorted out the ecu does a decent job.

Man 8 miles away and all those killer set ups. I want to see redemption on the poop coupe as well as some shake down passes on the rest of the fleet.
Also my local track was only 15 miles away and after being open since 1959 it suddenly closed last July. So don’t take it for granted

i fought a similar issue at the track and on the street back in the day. My issue was the ignition switch was loosing contact on the launch causing the car to shutoff. It was definitely frustrating!

That damn relay got moisture into the relay, my guess from hanging upside, car would not start. Not sure what video or one of my mechanic friends got me pointed in the right direction. Luckily yours and mine, thats all it was.
Yeah, stuff happens. Things break, it happens to everyone. Get a better seat, especially with a stick that going to happen, she did hook pretty strong.

The plastic ignition switch. Zip tie it or replace.
Even the replacement works its way apart. Ziptie the new one. Thats what i did to mine.

It’s the way it goes. I felt the same the first time I took the Falcon out. I’m so used to Fox body and G body 4 link cars. The Falcon is my first rear leaf car. 5.0, T5, 31 spline 8.8. I have a complete Explorer/GT40 intake manifold that has been cleaned internally and bead blasted and painted. To go with it, a set of used like new ford motorsports 24# injectors with fuel rail. And I’m also looking at letting my Holley Terminator X go with it. I can send photos of the intake and video proving that there’s nothing wrong with the Terminator X. The only reason I’m looking at selling these, is because I’ve decided to go carburetor on my truck build and I just don’t want to see these parts laying around. I have a set of the explorer heads as well, but they would need to be gone through. I would like to get $1500 for all it. Please let me know if you’re interested or if you know of someone else who might want it. I’m located in Griffin Ga. 30223
