I always like to put dressing on those rubber mats. Can get tricky though, if you don't buff off excess with a cheap dressing the ground will be slippery as ice!
Well, that’s the thing.. isn’t it? The mats probably appreciated being cared for too.... says she who is watching way too many detailing vids and my mats are here under my coffee table glaring. I did give them a thorough vacuum and stiff bristle brush last night. They are still staring at me. Lol
Do you base your quotes on an average hourly cost of each part of the vehicle you detail or do you have a base price for different sized vehicles and a additional charge gets added for the size of the job ?
@@ruttl1 Try a paste made of baking soda and water. Let it sit for up to 30 minutes. Maybe try a small test area first. Otherwise, the plastic will need to be refinished or dyed.
Hey man I’m in Somerset, KY I have detailed close too 200+ vehicles, would love to come down and help you for free! Love your work! pm if you’re interested.
So basically, talking about time and money (about the 8 minute mark) what you are saying, the effort you put into the vehicle with your knowledge and expertise plus the hours and equipment you are using negates the lack of attention the vehicle owner has made over X amount of months and if the owner had actually taken care to keep the vehicle in good condition on a regular basis by themselves.. it is actually cost effective to see you?

overkill. unless they are paying for a premium they wont even notice
@@startingtech3900 Lol it was a full detail with a ceramic application I had to do everything without "overdressing"

@@jenniferschmitzer299 It's all about what is most time efficient and these mats take up 25% of the interior so a gel dressing is the safest route
@@wintrs9161 i use stoner black in a can for mats but only if they pay a premium .it blacks out the mats and doesn tmake them oily like a dressing
Thanks Luke for very insightful tips to overcome negative price objections to close deal and retain clients.
Excelente trabajo mi hermano!! 😎👍🏼
I’d kill for a few $1000 details. I work far too hard at 50 for My $. Believe Me, I’m aware it’s My own fault.

Thanks for the info!
Love your work. Huge inspiration for me!
Are you opening up your detailing course/group again?

Great work. How do you get off red dirt from a floor when it has been there for a few years and it has been neglected?
You can buy a red stain remover. Go to your local carpet cleaning store and take a photo. They should help
Red dirt stains from the floor boards not the carpet but I have experience a few trucks stained on their plastic floor boards and I can't remove it.
