This is a great track. Seven Sins and Loco are a must for you guys as audio engineers too. Loco is all acappella with only his voice as an instrument and seven sins is a great track with great audio mixing!

He was releasing his soul from his body when it separated. Maybe the troubled and sick soul he was releasing. The apples I think meant, he was tired of fighting his demons (because he could not get away, it followed him) and he decided to coexist with it. He watched the demon struggle to grab the apple, so he decided to share the apples with the demon. He doesn't really have a choice, if anything it was to relieve his mind. My opinion anyways.

Yeah, I believe he is talking directly about Trump in this song and in the first Money Game when he says “Dear Mr. President…”). I believe he wrote, played, sang and mixed these Demos albums from his bedroom while he was going through some of his darkest days. 😢 This whole album is brilliant and it is etched in my soul. 💔❤️🩹❤️

I’ve been a Renegade for the last few months and while I’ve done deep dives on the Sick Boi album and some of Ren’s other more famous bangers, I’ve been saving a handful of tracks to watch later. With Ren songs, they’re like opening gifts and I wanted to save some to open with people I consider musical friends. When I saw you guys were doing a reaction, I knew it was the perfect time. What a beautiful song. Of course I’ll give it a dozen more listens, but the line that popped out and brought tears instantly was after the word president, he said “When fear trumps love, the soul becomes irrelevant.” WOW. Great reaction! This is one of Ren's most layered songs imo. You guys got that right away. It's one where the more times you listen and watch, the more you get. I asked myself once what does Ren mean by 108 reasons I want to escape? Turns out 108 is a sacred number in many cultures and religions 1. It's the distance between our body and the God within us 2. In Hinduism, represents cosmic energy and divine connection. Also, mathematicians consider it is special, also Fibonacci, it was his theory that the number 108 has a way of representing the wholeness of existence. Ren uses the lyric Fibonacci sequence in his song Suic*de too.
I grew up Mormon with my brothers and sisters until I was about 13, and we became the black sheep of the family, a heretic. Except, only to my dad, my mom got out too when I was born. But since we had to visit my dad on the weekends, he made us go to church until we got jobs, I left my dad's at 14 bussing tables. He was in a cult and if my mom didn't leave my life would have been so different! I think this song goes with the lyric video "Dear God."
