Congrats Phil. I’m living mine as you know. What better than Piglet for a first project. Make sure you add something to the water. Borax to a PH of 9 is ok, but I’m about to up my game. Video coming soon. If you do Borax get a couple of gallons of really hot water add about 1/3 of the box and stir with a paint mixer until in complete solution. Then add to the table. 🔥👍🏼👊🏼🔥

Thank you. If you have the space the pro is a no brainer. The torch hight control will save you loads of money in the long run. Almost every piece I’ve scraped would have been perfect with the torch hight control. Between that and the additional cutting space you will at some point wish you had make it a real easy decision and a great spend.
tig_happens they are finally in reach of the average guy. I dreamed of one for years after seeing one at my buddies welding shop but $10k was out of reach and even 4x4 was too big. This setup or the newest is a dream come true.

It’s worked great. I had one of the first scrolls that left Eastwood about 2.5 years ago. I’ve done a load of blasting with it and it keeps right up. The demands of plasma cutting are far less. If noise and size are a factor I’d say the scroll is an excellent choice. 😉

Still blown away by the value of this table. The next one up with the torch height control and the extra room to cut is a no brainer for the money. I’ve been super impressed with quality and it’s proven to be quite durable. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy anything from Langmuir
Paul Taylor It is an awesome table I could not be more impressed. The plasma cutter is a Razor Weld RazorCut45 with the X45 torch. You can get it right through Langmuir. The trick is making sure you get the X45 torch because it takes Hypertherm consumables and makes super clean cuts over the standard torch that comes with the machine. If you click the link in my description and check out the package deals they have it all together including the cutter with the better torch. 😉🙌🏼

It’s been a while but it was a very inexpensive around $350-400 laptop. You don’t need a whole lot of power to run the table. If you plan on doing your design work on the same machine definitely go for something that has some processing horsepower.
