One note on the USB cord: I'm not sure 'how long' they are before you need an amplifier, but there is a limit to how long a usb cord can be before you start having issues. If you're not having any issues with 16' then maybe that's it? hehe but there IS a limit. I think it has a lot to do also with the gauge of wires internally as well. So get a heavy duty cable if you have a choice.
Good, as long as you’re careful, and any visitors are careful, and don’t put any pressure on the unsupported end of the arm.

Thanks for the reviews! Helps a lot! I work at a welding school and we built our own plasma table etc. So it's best to get a hypertherm plasma cutting machine? How's the software interface. I know you have to have a "CAD" software for drawing, but how's the software interface that operates the plasma motor, etc?
It uses Mach 3 to run the stepper motors
Thanks, I needed the kick. I bought mine in Nov. 2018 and really struggled with (still do) Fusion 360. I just burned up the torch head on my Vipercut 30i and I'm debating on the Primeweld 60 I saw in your other video or spend 100+ on a new torch and still not know why it burned up. The Primeweld customer service sounds so much better and might be worth the extra money.
Primeweld not recommended anymore.
Dont feel bad, unfortunately Fusion 360 is close to the only option, and they know that. Its a terrible bit of CAD software and theres no actual support for time, its all community based. Its amazing how much they charge for their software and then offer zero support for it. Its full of bugs, and has the worst workflow possible.
Very nice video and overview. What would you say is the total MINIUM footprint this machine would need in a small shop with the extension bars? Like if it was placed in a corner on two sides wall, allowing two sides to walk around?
I have sense upgraded to their larger version so I don't have it to reference for size. But I know they have their dimensions on their website
Great video, just curious what size air compressor are you running?
I'm running a 8 gallon 5 CHF compressor. Just barely big enough. I have to pause if I'm doing any cuts that are longer than 10 minutes and let the compressor catch back up but I'm limited on space so it's worked fine so far

Glad yours worked out mine is an absolute POS. The 1st issue were the lead screws, they keep falling off. Now the control is dying. When it worked it was fun, but I've enjoyed far more frustration than fun. If you're looking for a small plasma table I would suggest you look else where.

I just watched this in October 21, are you still using it, and are you still happy with it? How is the Cut60 doing these days? I see that Langmuir took the Cut60 off the supported list. I am real close to ordering the gen2 CrossFire table.
I still technically have the OG table but it's at my buddies house and he continues to use it I have since upgraded to the crossfire pro. I can vouch that the Gen 2 is going to be much nicer because it comes with the fire share software which is much more user friendly. And as of the cut 60 it has been running great I know there have been a couple people that have had issues with it when it is wired through the CNC port but that seems to mostly stem from the fact that they put their cutter too close to the control box on the table there are several things that people have done to mitigate that. And if none of those work you can wire the cut 60 up through the raw voltage and I have not heard one person have any issues when it is wired that way. I'm currently still wired through the CNC port and have not had any troubles. Thanks for watching I really appreciate the support 😎👊

I’ve been wanting to get the Langmuir 24x36 and up grade of z access. Did the system come with fusion 360. I’m just building a couple of Anglia’s will need brackets and possible cutting out sheet aluminum with this
Fusion is fee to hobyest . Hypertherm is the ultimate goal but I have recently upgraded to the Primeweld cut 60 and it has been preforming well

Can you share a link with the info of converting the standard Razor weld head to HYPOTHERM?
It is the x45 torch upgrade that langmuir systems sells on their website
@@amcustomfab thanks mate. I'm in Australia, Razor weld here is called razor cut 45,ill see if I can get HYPERTHERM option here. How are you finding the HYPERTHERM power source,big improvement? A very expensive machine but worth it is what I hear..
I don't actually have the hypertherm power source I have the razor cut 45 with the upgraded torch that accepts hypertherm consumables.
The Hypertherm Powermax 30xp is only $1,500.00 now. Mine is coming in next week.
do you cut lots of aluminum? Any opinions on it?

Absolutely I don't know if these are quote" right it's just what I found with trial and error but I run 16th at 120 in a minute at 25 amps, 1/ 8 in at 70 in a minute and 30 amps, 3/16 at 45 in a minute 35 amps, 1/4" at 30 in a minute 40 amps, and 3/8 at 25 in a minute 45 amps.
Also as it gets thicker you have to bump your pierced to lay up a little bit. So like for 16th inch I do .5 Pierce delay. But for quarter inch I do more like 1.5 pierced delay

@@amcustomfab yes I know it changes depending on the size of compressor and cutters I just want a general idea never had one always used handy grinder
It's very minimal going to depend on what cutter you run but it general . I see a bigger spike in usage on the bill if I forget the space heater on while I am a work than if a I running the table consistently
How much for some hinges like that?

I am getting the primeweld plasma cutter next week to try on the table and will do a review on it
