the pikmin series always intimidated me (it still does) I used to constantly watch videos related about it but i could never bring myself to play it because it stressed me out lol but i think im gonna try out pikmin 1/2 again edit:chuggaconroy's lp was great!
@@Rikarocks2001 It wasn’t intentional, they accidentally sped up the Sound effects when porting the game over to the wii, it’s the same sound from the GameCube but sped up really fast!
It was fixed in the PAL and Korean versions of New Play Control! Pikmin. I made a Riivolution patch a long time ago to copy the fix to the USA version.
Pikmin has always been my childhood favorite game to play, and I repeated the story thousands of times. When I found out about speedrunning in the game, I wanted to give it a try. When I tried the first couple of times, but I couldn't pull off what was shown in the videos. I thought it wasn't possible because I saw the videos were for the Gamecube version and I didn't know where I could find a speedrun for the Wii. Then I found the speedrun for the Wii, and I studied his tactics to see if I could mimic them. I haven't been fully successful yet but seeing the video helped me defeat my fastest time of 13 days down to just 12 days. I am hoping that sometime in the future that I could defeat Pikmin in the possible 6 days.

The Wii version is glitchier which makes it harder to do a zero death run, and some other differences with bomb rocks, etc.
