    I was looking for a video tune vs not tune. Best RUclips video for sure

  • @chrism869

    I mean as expected ,these things tuned are insane ,if i had to guestimate the times that thing tuned will atleast do a 3.4 0 to 60 on sea level, and proper launch, and prepped surface. Now it makes you wanna do that to yours,im sure you plan to even tough its your daily for the most part,only thing is how it will hold up relaibility wise with mods.

      My MK7 GTI has been tuned it’s entire life. Original owner. It has 163k miles currently. Been Stage 1.5, Stage 2, and for the last 4 years, been IS38 custom tuned and WMI the last year and a half. Perfect compression, and never any big issues. Definitely reliable.

      @@mqbr22 yeah, I would love to know if it converts to a mid to low 11 second 1/4 mile time adjusting for DA. Unfortunately 034 and other tunes aren't seeing huge benefits going stage 2 with very expensive downpipes.

      @@mqbr22 yep, fortunately we get to see what mod's gains help a lot and what is really not needed. IC for sure but 4 or 5K for exhaust, downpipe and Intake for 20 or 30HP doesn't make much sense.

      Stock is like 12.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile. I'd imagine with 93 tune, should be very close, or maybe even in the 11s. Maybe.

      The reviewer's biggest gripe, most owners use the steering wheel volume. Rarely touch the climate controls besides turning AC off before a race. 😂 The biggest gripe I have is the super slow wireless charging that makes me think my phone is going to explode from the heat.

  • @BenTroxell
    @BenTroxell Год назад +1

    His comment about the pops… 034 tunes have a pretty aggressive burble tune unless you opt for the non-burbles tunes. Maybe he didn’t have the exhaust in sport?

      @JVette01  Год назад +1

      Not sure

    • @deezyb858
      @deezyb858 Год назад +1

      For some reason the 034 tune for the MQBevo retains the stock burbles. Even in race, there was no difference in burbles after the tune. But I agree 034s pop tunes are usually aggressive just not with the new MQBevo tunes, at least for the Mk8.

    tempting to get a 20th in manual. I miss my MKIV R32. But my 2015 GTI SE DSG 2 door is making my life difficult. Of the 4 golf's I've owned, all have been 2 doors. I can't bring myself to upgrade to the newer 4 door variants. So from Stage I APR to Stage 3 IE in the GTI it is... and I'll just pick up a GT4 or GT3 with 3 pedals as soon as my crypto portfolio takes off. Ha. Nice R though. Subbed to see how it progresses.

    E85 should be a little more than 70 horse diff I think. Just Stage 1 alone on 93, completely stock otherwise, is an ~80 horsepower difference. I'd say on E85 it should be around a 100-110 horsepower difference. If he's on a flex tune though, he's probably not on true E85, because not all E85 stations put out true E85, some are like E50, for example. So if he's on flex tune, it'll adjust the tune depending on how much ethanol content he has, which could be as low as like E40 I'd say, but, he could be on true E85 if he has a good gas station that puts out reliably.
    On another note, you should look into going flex/E85 yourself homie, there's lots of videos on RUclips showing how to install an ethanol sensor and then the flex tune will read the content, and adjust your tune accordingly.

    It's kinda hard to tell horsepower gains by being gapped especially when FWD vs AWD may play a bigger role. That's why trap speeds are so important. You destroyed that Mustang GT but using his trap speed we know its making way more horsepower.
