Congrats on the RS3, I've hear such great things about it, definitely an upgrade from the Golf R.... IMO.....Seems like a natural upgrade patch from a VW. Interesting to hear your full thoughts on the comparison between the Golf R & vs. the RS3. I have a 2022 MK8 Golf R (stock+ DSG)..but was looking at 2022/23 Audi S3 before picking the Golf R.

Tint looks sick. Even though it's your daily the RS3 packs a lot of power.

The mesh sunshade on the Audi really annoy me, never thought about tinting the sunroof but that is probably the move. It's annoying you can't option them without a sunroof.

I always enjoy your vids. It’s a pain, but an intercooler upgrade seems to be a mod you should consider. I always wondered what the dealerships did with modded Rs.

I'm going to rent one of these in a week and am stoked! My dream car is an RS6 and I have driven that, but some people say this one has more soul. After watching a lot of videos on the RS3, most people say the car feels normal, but the standout is the engine. In your opinion, is there anything else about the car besides the engine that you find surprised you? Anything to the handling or steering? I've driven the A3 and it really just feels like a Volkswagen, not even the typical audi drive feel like an A5 or something.

Congratulations on the RS3. I tried to get a Golf R. All the dealership were asking over Sticker. The ones that sat on the lot went sticker but went fast once they lowered to sticker. They missed out more than once. I finally gave up and started to look into a RS3. I will probably get a 2025 something, I have a 2024 model car on order and it should arrive late September. The RS3 would slot nicely in between my current car and ordered car.

Lol as far as buyers remorse I think that's a natural thing after anyone gets out of a Golf R 😆 when I traded in my 2019 Golf R for a 2021 Camaro SS 1LE I regretted it for like a month straight, tbh I still want to buy another Golf R like that one I had lol. I'm looking forward to seeing you do 0 to 60 times between the RS3 and M2 as well as a lot of comparison videos.

Dealerships don’t “special order” you a car, they just got an allocation for one and let you choose the spec because it wasn’t built yet. That goes for any brand if you order a car and choose not to buy it when it lands they have to still deal with selling it.

I like German cars; but enjoy them for 5 years and unload them. I’ve had several and do all mechanical work myself, but when the modules start to go $$$$$$.

As good as the Mk8 Golf R is, I can't blame you for switching to an RS3 that you had ordered, I would have done the same! I have to say that your channel helped me out a lot when I was contemplating between a GTI or an R - the R won for me. I really liked your content on the R, looking forward to your RS3 content.

I’m thinking of doing windshield and sunroof tint on my mk8 GTI…I have 35 front two windows, 15 everywhere else already. Does sunroof and windshield make a big difference for heat?

I have the same spec in germany but as a sportback, shame you cannot get the flat bottom steering wheel in the us. But i like the usa rs3 content 👍🏼

Crazy the 8y RS3 still isnt tuneable. I was wanting to get into one around 2021 but 2 year wait gave me time to get into an M2. I'm very happy with my decision. Plus my research from actual audi owners, i didn't want to rebuild the engine because it got damaged on low bolt on power. I wanted a platform i can do the least and get the most out.

I have both the 8y RS3 and G87 M2 and I'd surely keep the G87 m2 over it hands down. And don't get me wrong I love the sound of the 5 cylinder but damn did bmw get the G87 m2 just right. Drive so much nicer

I've discovered your channel thanks to the previous video and I love that the RUclips algorithm finally works as it should. The RS3 is definitely a step above the Golf R, although they're similar in a lot of ways. The fact you went for a Sedan in this color makes it even better, it's a serious performance machine that still looks classy and grown-up. I know it's a huge investment but, as you may know, a car should be measured in smiles per hour - and this car will give you a lot more than you imagine. I've just bought a new MK8 GTI in Kings Red and I kinda feel like you, I love the car but I regret spending all that money on it. By my country's standards, it's basically a luxury vehicle and I'm very lucky to have it. I'm also very scared to drive it because of its value. I need some time to get used to it.

Best first mod for this car has to be getting rid of those two small resonators. That sound needs to be heard! I suspect that your cheap mod is gonna cover that though, it’s really a no brainer.

At 61 I have had plenty of BMWs last up was an m240x and then a BMW M3. Then I got a Volvo S60 for its comfort. The M3 was just too big. It has performance but everything is over the top. I probably should have gotten an M2. So bored with the Volvo I traded it and bought a 2024 Golf R. I always wanted a Golf R it’s super fun and playful. What is funny is I was debating getting the more mature older driver choice of the Audi RS3. I felt it may have more sound deadening and be a better highway car. Thoughts on road noise with it? I go through cars so I will hold onto the VW for a year or two and plan to do some track days with it. As there are a couple right near me here in New England. Best of luck with the RS and keep the content coming. Your tune vids on the R had me pause my updates. Was hoping to here more about your post tune results

Mine is a 2017 and bought it with 30k, I took out the sound pipe that goes from the engine to the cabin bc it felt like a little tractor. Being a little more quiet made the car feel lighter. This little car drives like a toy, it is so much fun 😊! I plan on keeping it until I can’t drive anymore.
