I've always loved hammered dulcimer. I'm curious how you adapt songs to the dulcimer. Do you take sheet music from another instrument (maybe piano or a lead sheet) to get the primary melody and maybe the chords, and then improvise a bit on those themes? Or are you playing by ear?

Sounds like it. While Tim uses an accompaniment track on some of his songs, I don’t hear it on this one.
I am so ashamed to hear you guys play this song, when there are thousands of hymns that need to be played, and the music of Jesus' kingdom needs to be made ready! And especially when I have heard all of the other songs that you guys have played, some of which are good! It makes me ask, is your heart in any of the music you play?! God's music cannot mix with this world's music! Make up your minds which you will play.
You guys make sure that Tim sees what I wrote here, and remind him that when I bought his cd, I sent him an email asking him if he would play more hymns.

You know, Mr Yandt, people like you used to amuse me, now you just irritate me. You claim to "follow the word of God", yet you don't act as such. Do you really think God would judge somebody on the song they chose to play? Yeah, that is a no...and if you think otherwise, then you are worshipping the wrong God. You should take a break, go look in the mirror, and judge the person looking back at you...because from my point of view, that's the only person here that needs to be judged.
