Not exactly sure what you mean by jerking it’s self but that low of rpm, I would think you need to be giving it a lot more throttle for it to come up, like 70-80%
So I put her in second. Took her up to 70 and ripped the throttle. I’m currently in the ER waiting to have my back reconstructed. Any other tips I should have gotten??
So when I bring the bike up Idk if I pull on the throttle side to much but my handle bars tend to turn when I’m up I can’t seem to keep them straight anything that can help with that?
I know he said P1 for most power but I have a tuned fireblade and found that P2 was even smoother for first gear attempts. Maybe play with power modes if you are still a little jumpy on throttle control.
@doublecup use your break brother it’s your best friend if you feel like you are too high just step on rear break it will bring you straight down I’m not sure if I agree with reckless teaching it’s not true clutch up is not predictable power ups way more unpredictable in my opinion I guess everyone is different

I know how to turn off DTC - Traction, but how did you turn off ABS at the same time? Regards. PS or the upper yellow light might have been the general warning light. You definitely had DTC -Traction off as well as DTC - Wheelie in the video.

You can adjust the damper to make it stiffer, if your still having issues then I’d buy another oem one cause yours could be bad, if your still having a lot of shaking after buying a new one then it’s just you gripping the bars to much
I’ve s1k 23, I tried to remain in the rpm shown in the video. I tried to throttle up, I notice mostly the wheel spin up and the wheel doesn’t pop up. What I’m missing? I’ve turned dtc off totally. Am I revving too much?
@@satzsmokie make sure you got the settings correct, and slowly easy into in 1st. If you can’t get it up in 1st at all, then you got the settings wrong or your not giving it enough throttle

@@XavierJ514 another thing that helped me was not trying to look off to the side of the bike when your up. Keeping your head infront of the gas tank and keeping your head down and trying to look through where the forks are helped me bring the bike up higher and felt more comfortable

Hi, am doing power wheelies with my bmw 1000 rr with the same configuration u did in the video, still the wheel doesnt come up in 2nd gear.. am going at 75 km with enough throttle yet nothing happens..
Is the bike flashed? Try doing power in 1st gear like I did in the video. This video is also in mph not km. If the bike is not flashed it’ll be a lot harder to bring up in 2nd but try doing 1st gear and let me know if your still having issues
@@faisalbinbutti6084 ya stock ecu has a big dead spot from 8k to about 11k rpm where there’s no power in 2nd gear. So I highly recommend getting a flashed ecu

I’m an equal opportunity wheelie man. You don’t have to hit BP for it to be a wheelie. Get that front tire up and it counts. Just keep practicing Are S1000RRs throttle super smooth? I can’t hold first fear wheelies for long in P1. Too twitchy. I have a fireblade and I’ve heard Honda didn’t do the throttle by wire very well
@@travisnightingale the bmw is smoother but not by much. The whole 1st gear wheelie isn’t meant to go for very long, it’s just to get you used to the whole process and it’s easier to focus more on technique in 1st gear
I pretty much can only do what you demoed in 2nd gear. So I only have 3-4 seconds till the power band runs out. Do you shift to third to keep them going? Or are you just closer to BP so you’re not chasing it out so fast.

@@erikestrada2408 the stage 2 just consists of a couple more mods like the flapper delete and iat relocation kit, it’s nothing crazy. Stage 2 vs 1 is prolly like a 2 bike difference if all other things are equal
Step 1 buy an s1k… Step 2 get first service and unlock ecu… step 3 put it in race pro adjust wheelie control to desired height… step 4 give it full throttle let the bike make you look like a pro….
Honestly its not a bad video dude, I just don't like how much you hammer into the video that you don't use the rear brake so you can too kind of attitude. Obviously everyone learns differently but I like to think learning to use your rear brake is very important to wheelie. Especially if you're trying to hit balance point. I wouldn't want a noob to loop because I told them they don't need the rear brake to wheelie and they just never learn how to use it.

Bro I turned off traction control 2 days ago while out riding cause I was practicing launching the bike. Went over a hump on the road at around 40 mph and looped my brand new 23 s1k. SMH. Was it your stunt bike or what?

You cannot fully turn off abs unless you remove the sensor, in the pro mode settings you can set the abs to 1 which is the lowest it’ll go
