Never ever ever ever ever ever ever never ever ever ever never ever ever ever ever
But could you, I mean like one time?
Brian you are THE MAN, what a f*cking pro!!
Never ever to what? I’m confused
@@alfonsohernandez3414 you didn’t watch the full video lol
@@PaintSociety nope sure didn’t expect a reply. But I will watch the full video now lol love your other full videos tho 👍✅
I've learned so much watching your vids. I had so many paint fails in the past I gave it up and stuck to bodywork and prep. The info and techniques you share gave me the confidence to give it another shot. Did some small parts yesterday that turned out great. My second garage is getting a booth, I'm all in. Thanks for your work and knowledge.
This is the video I have been waiting for. My truck's quarter panel has a spot that needs a repair like this and I didn't know how to go about it. Thank you so much!
Hi Brian. I just only want to say big Thank You. for teaching me. I am DIY guy and I really love your videos. Every time I learn from you something new. Big big Thank You
Always love watching your content Brian 👏🏻
Your videos are perfect Brian, I learn so much every time and it gives me a confidence boost. I'm starting to pick up more clients, feels like I'm making a shift from hobbyist to business. Would love to meet you if you ever make it out to Northern California.
Love watching these videos! It's because of these videos that I'm able to step outside my comfort zone and have started doing some painting. I realize this is the proper way to repair these, but man it's like 47 steps and 3 days later to just get out a "minor" ding and rust haha. Can't argue with the results though!
You the best Brian thanks and keep up the wonderful work bro 🙏🙏🙏🙏
What scratch! Looks wonderful as always. Your the man! Eagle abrasives do really save time and give you the scratch you need.
Great tutorial Brant, I really like it and thanks for everything.
As always very informative Brian thank you for the video stay safe
Thanks. Very much needed !Another million view episode!
What a great teacher, perhaps the best on youtube
Great repair Brian thanks for sharing
I know this is an older video, but it was worth turning to as a resource for these kinds of repairs. Great stuff.
I’d appreciate a video that gets into sanding techniques, dos and don’ts. For example, I have an electric DA (non-pneumatic), and really struggle with avoiding pigtails and buildup. I don’t know if it’s pressure, OPM/RPM, or the grit. That problem is better solved in a video than a discussion, so I’d love to see content that gets into those factors.
Awesome video man and what a perfect repair job 👍👍
This is just what I needed! Thanks!
This guy is a master I be learning a lot with your videos thanks
Weird....I've been wondering if you had a video outlining a small repair on a large panel, and then here it comes, brand spanking new, its like your psychic. Thanks for sharing bro!
Hello , thank you , I learned a lot from your channel , it is like a school to me , I’m a painter and I still learning from you , I have diploma on buddy work , it is very nice to show all you doing , thank you , I wish to visit your shop some day in Florida
Really appreciate it getting ready for a big job
Catchphrase is true...the learning Never stops(if you are seriously into auto paint/refurbishing/refinishing) Always picking up helpful tidbits on this and other channels. Social media platforms can be destructive, and divide people or it can be used for education and learning like this channel👍And if it makes the content creators some $$$, i'm all for it. It's a valuable service and they should be compensated by youtube.
Oh man, that hardner tip! I'm a northern transplant to Southern AZ and have been having a heck of a time with fillers hardening too quick, even in 'winter'. Looking forward to trying that out.
Another great video Brian more great content
Excellent work 👍
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos Man!!!! keep up the good work Teach your awesome
Always good work!!
Nice work Brian!
Your always helpful great stuff, thank you!
That looks beautiful.
Great detail thank you!
Great video John. The car looks great
Love your work 👊
Great work 👍👍👍
Thanks again Brian.
Thanks Brian for yet another excellent tutorial always professional and to the point
Question: how much would you usually charge for a job like that?
great video lots of infomation....
Great instruction on videos, not sure if you have done a video on feathering spraygun trigger and arcing spraygun at the end of a pass and the reasons for this, sure this would be informative for a lot of people and help them improve there spraying technique, seems its left out and not discussed when showing people how to spray. Also be good to show how you blend single stage paint as there seems to be alot of different opinions and approaches . Keep up the top work, from a UK subscriber. 👍
Nice shop and clean
.. Splendid stuff ,..
I am a retired Prestige car painter from Australia and appreciate your quality content, keep enjoying the Trade
Much appreciated
Great job
Thankyou your work is always first class
Very good job
Another great video. I'm going through an issue with my 17 Pacifica. So far 2 hood resprays for paint. One of the most reported 2017 Chrysler Pacifica problems is its faulty paint, which bubbles and prematurely peels off. Exposed metal surfaces may also develop rust. Well now it's back with Chrysler on the same issues but on both driver and driver sliding door and also on rear hatch. This has been a problem since 40k I'm now at 87k in Florida and waiting to see what Chrysler does. Wish me luck. I would like to know if there are Pacifica owners from 2017 2019 with the same problems
Very awesome I fix my car with the same tools and sand paper DA it looks very awesome 😎 thanks paint society...!!!!
Awesome !!
Awesome Brian. Can you show for us DIYers what steps to take when we get a run, bump the wet base with air hose and get orange peal in clear coat?
Hey love your channel I was just wondering what kind of pump-up sprayer do you use for your degreaser. I'm currently working on my wife's 89 1500 Chevy pickup truck one panel at a time. Thanks for your priceless greatly needed information.
Flawless great work saving all videos for my platform when I'm ready to get started you and chad bad customs chad Hiltz bless
I use Evercoat materials exclusively. I love that stuff.
Good job!!! Bro
Thank you awesome video ...
Your the man bro
Brian great video, wanted to ask with weather changing how do you reduce your material? With not being in a booth it's difficult to dial it in... great application but mixed finishes with metal temp
Thank you for all useful video. Could you discuss about polishing after the paint corrections with choosing right pads please, thanks
Check part 4 of my civic type r repair series
Soo nice!!
Super ❤️ work sirr..
You gotta try the eagle abrasives discs with a dust extractor, absolutely glorious! Thank you so much for doing a product spotlight for their stuff!
Oh yea? I gotta do that
@@PaintSociety I use the festool midi, my fiance got me one for my birthday knowing I would never buy one for myself. I thought I didn't mine filler and primer dust but now that I have this I'll never go back!
nic bro you in my teachar so i love your jab
Nice video kool TEC knowledge.Do pps cup atuomize and using a aluminum spray cup or you reduce it more
I really interested you are the best
Excellent
Been following you for about a year now. You were born a natural teacher. Its a joy to watch you paint and explain the techniques behind it. Thanks for what you do Brian. Its truly appreciated.
Thanks! Actually I am a full time teacher and I paint on the side
@@PaintSociety Well then that makes perfect sense. Seems like you really enjoy painting as it definitely shows in your work. Keep doing what your doing.
Thank you, i wrote some notes down.
If you live in a hot area where the sun beats down constantly, how many coats of clear would you recommend be used? I have the clear peeling on my 2000 Durango, but only in places where there has been work done. The factory clear is just fine.
Awesome video buddy. I'm getting ready to paint my car in my garage with cans. Like your other videos.
Good luck Julio!
Great job Brian! I seen you using a static gun. Do those really help? Thanks!
Nice video
You are magician man, who taught you this? Awesome!!! Wish you can repaint my car 😑
The 3" DA Sander that you have linked in the video. Do you use a different backing plate and or interface pad for this Specific 3" DA Sander? Can you provide the links for the interface pad and all of the sandpaper that you would recommend for doing prep work from Eagle Abrasives please.
One other question I have for that small little thing that was at the edge of that door, could you have tried some type of PDR, instead of having it to go through the whole process?
As always, great videos and I am learning quite a bit from them👍
You help me with my last problem of messed up clear coat , any way all sanded back then re sprayed base , and now have small areas of biting i think its called , so ready to give up , any ideas
Good stuff, hope I remember half of the techniques you're teaching us. 🍻
Just watch again !
@@PaintSociety hell, I'm talking over the last year brother. I'm ready to get this project done! Thanks for everything.
I started watching you back last year and from then until now your content quality and video quality has gotten near commercial tv quality levels. I've been on the insurance side of the body business over 11years now you do some top quality work and i appreciate your teaching style as it is easy to understand and very thorough.
Awesome. Thanks for the compliment and the words behind it. Means a lot. Appreciate you being a fan for so long. Can’t say my editing was great when I first started lol
Hello Brian, for the basecoat you would recommend the sagola 4600 or the bellaria. Because I have a difficult choice?
Hi Brian I didn't understand blending clear coat, so before 1H9 paint shall I use this for good paint?
awesome man, love your vids, love that never ever ever never….
Never ever ever lol
When doing a small repair like the one in this video, would a mini hvlp gun be ok to use? With a 1.2sr tip?
Bad ass video 😊👍🏾
U Da Man!!!
Wow! Ya'll don't mess around. Great good.
Could learn so much just by being a fly on the wall watching.
Do you always have to coat primer with clear or is that just when it's a blending job? Great channel :)
How would you go about fixing edge mapping after the primer is sprayed down? I ask because I thought i had featheredged properly but I can see some edge mapping underneath the urethane primer surfacer.
I like doing my own painting that I have no issues with what I do have problems with is my bond or filler showing no matter how smooth it think it is
Love watching your videos would love to see and hear your opinions on home resto's for classic cars and paint comparisons. base/clear vs single stage vs enamel vs lacquer for the home novice.
Random question- if i need to paint hood and deck lid stripes, should i just stripe over the dry base and then clear, or clear is all, and add the stripes at a later time?
What the color match of the front bumper hah, great work!
Bud where did you get the small little square block..I need it in my life..
I need to ask our paint and supply distributor about k grit sandpaper. You're the only one I've seen use it so far, I'd like to give it a shot. I would love if my 600 cut like 320
Works great. Finishmaster sells it or maybe try a small pack on Amazon
Excellent as always... Why did you decide to use primer instead of sealer?
Because I didn’t have much blending room
Quality geezer !!
Bet he aint cheap 😳
Coach T on top
Nice
I really enjoy the eagle small sandpaper kit I use for dirt in basecoat. But I cannot find the other abrasives they sell. Can you advise?
Check the description
Can I spray etch primer on the panel before doing putty work and can one use epoxy primer to replace the etch primer
How long should I wait in between the clear base coat and the color base coat? Does it still need to flash or do I want the color base coat to land in the wet clear base coast? I'm so thankful for your channel logo, don't overthink it.... but yeah I'm terrified to do some minor rust repair on all four doors of my rare 1995 Audi S6 avant. A local shop quoted me $15-20k for the repairs and I just can't stomach that so next spring I plan on taking it on myself. Want to fly out to Colorado and do a training session with me? Would be kind of cool to actually have someone doing it themselves while you are there to teach and correct mistakes.. You make it look too easy!
Do you sand the primer in one direction or cross over it. Bit confused with the cross pattern he says to sand in.
Do we need to sand sealer as well or can we just paint on it .
Dear Sir I watch your videos, that's grate,so can I know, what is the nozzle size of a gun for the clear coat, thanks,I m from Sri Lanka,
Howzit , love your work is it possible for you to give me some tips on how to avoid those Halo that you where talking about, and how to feather egde the layers of paint and what all the filler must fill in, I'm a self thought spraypainter and some of what I know I learned from you and I'm ending up with some great results
That halo effect is what I sometimes find after painting a car and it really doesn't look professional or good. Thx keep up the education just know it is helpful and not waisted efforts
