    Maybe do more than give your condolences. Pay them a living wage, give them health benefits and train them for what’s coming.
    Coming from a mom of 24 year old firefighter in northern Alberta.
    The words ring pretty hollow…

      No doubt. Alberta's government doesn't care about our emergency services, and about their citizens in general. 4.5 Billion surplus, but no money to fight the ever increasing wild fires. Tell your child 'Thank You' for me, for their service to us all.

    This is so sad my heart goes out to his family!! So young and so brave!! He will always be a hero and honoured for his service to keep people safe and unharmed ❤

    The firefighter was my good friend Mac kitchen, he was a beautiful soul and a great man, may everyone please pray that he is on his way to heaven

      My fire hall has 18 firefighters, three of which are women and all do excellent work. You should be ashamed were firefighters there's no gender concerns on the fire line everyone can pull their weight otherwise they wouldn't be there.
