  • A short ride along part of the secenic Hope Valley line in the 1990s aboard a heritage Class 101 DMU. One of the odd quirks of privitisation led to a handful of first-generation DMUs surviving into the late 1990s as seen here and operated at the time by Northern Rail.

Great looking Rail Car, probably the best way to travel any scenic line in one of these. Many thanks.

Ah Daisy, I remember her well. The last time I travelled that line was in a transpennine class 124 unit, so some time ago. What a lovely film.

Enjoyed the film. Only recently had a trip on the line using a South Pennine Day Ranger Ticket. Very scenic line. 😊

Thru Totley Tunnel with open windows and Rainwater gushing through plus the old fashioned guards van at the back.

Can't beat a Class 101 in BR green livery. Loved the video, it brought back some happy memories.

Best colour scheme. Be nice if it had whiskers instead of the yellow 😊
