The Hope Valley Line

A short ride along part of the secenic Hope Valley line in the 1990s aboard a heritage Class 101 DMU. One of the odd quirks of privitisation led to a handful of first-generation DMUs surviving into the late 1990s as seen here and operated at the time by Northern Rail.

Ah Daisy, I remember her well. The last time I travelled that line was in a transpennine class 124 unit, so some time ago. What a lovely film.
