    curiosity! In Brazil cars rarely reach this state of dirt and for much less we remove the carpet for washing outside the car, I noticed that in the USA most detailing channels do not remove the carpet. If you removed seats and all peripherals, why not remove the carpet?

      Some disaster detailers do here on RUclips like WD Detailing and M.A.D. Detailing and you find a lot of junk leaked through it on the chassis floor but here he rarely does that.

    • @elaine_a8944
      @elaine_a8944 8 месяцев назад +3

      Yup! @jedsgaragedetail
      ,,,makes you wonder why, right ,,,since the seats and console were removed, the Carpet should be taken out too for the Pressure washer -- faster cleaning, can also flip the Carpet to clean the other side, especially with that level of Embedded filth -- also with the Seatbelts (usually overlooked to be cleaned - again in this worse state of nastiness.)

    this would have been a perfect candidate for re-dying the carpet and armrests. it still looks pretty bad after cleaning, so it wouldn't have been such a loss cause if the re-dying didn't work out. you should show this in a video.

    I use a 50/50 mix of Simple Green on grease stains. Try using the extractor to remove the solution off the the door panels. I wouldn't use the fluid from the extractor on the door fabric. I would use the suction to extract the cleaning solutions. I've had good luck as long as the fabric wasn't rotted

    Helped clean out a van at work, didn't do any vacuuming or wiping anything down, that was for the detailer in the shop to do, but it took 2 guys a full 8 hours and a few garbage bags to get the garbage out. Didn't really have any hair in it, but there was mold and grime just about everywhere. Old food piled up in the corner(in plastic) random discarded tools and sockets, i don't know how anyone got anything done in it, i could barely get in it myself.
