- Sheriff T.K. Waters announced the results of a long-term investigation that ended in multiple arrests, including a JSO corrections officer, his sister and a city of Jacksonville Public Works employee.
Really appreciate Sheriff Waters openness to his community. He is striving to ‘clean’ up the jail and the criminal element in the communities. Man of integrity.

I wonder if We can sue the Congressman who was the top Sheriff in 2014. I was in PDF for child support, I was offered all kinds of drugs for Candy or favors from the guards too. They knew, Did nothing.. so I am glad TK is doing stuff about it NOW.

It looks like some fine bright young scholars. I just wanna know all the places try to sell drugs, Why the jail or prison there are eyes and ears everywhere around there.
It seems like a never ending endeavor. I’m not sure they can ever rid jails or prisons of drugs or weapons.

@@starttheconvopod I had a few partners(fellow officers) arrested during my jail career, our jails are now all non-contact visitation and even the dumpsters outside are checked as trustees will grab the drugs from the dumpsters without shame. I arrested the entire work crew as I found drugs on all four of them, they were now facing prison time under Arizona law!!!

Man we are far beyond caring about drugs going in our jail This county is averaging over 40 unsolved homicides per year I don't see any press conferences about that though 😢
We should be caring about drugs in jail facilities, this continues to feed the criminals and their crimes!!!! Then they continue the behavior on the streets!!!

I was assigned to one of our local jails when I watched a drug transaction go on in visitation. I notified my supervisor whom dispatched officers to assist me in finding the drugs and other materials. I arrested the visitor for 4 different charges which included, promoting prison contraband, disrupting of the operation of a jail facility, bribing an officer (me) and child endangerment after she left a two and four year old child alone at home. With the assistance of Phoenix Police grandparents were able to pick up the children while I booked the woman into the Estrella Jail! My understanding is she was given 10 years in prison once a court found her guilty on all four charges!! Drugs can be a real problem with-in a jail and we ended up county wide to convert to non contact visitation via closed circuit TV and the inmates would not leave the pod for the visit!!! I am saddened by the injuries and death of four Heroes and will be praying for the friends and families!
Dam it’s sickening to hear this but it’s very common in jails and for sure prisons
