One of the things I enjoy so much about watching your videos, is the mutual respect and affectionate way that you and Roger address each other. Working in retail, I witness on a daily basis, impatient and rude behaviour between couples while shopping. "What do you need with that!" "How much is that costing me!" Usually comments by husbands, but wives can give their husband a hard time too. How wonderful and refreshing to see such a loving and caring relationship between a working couple.
@6:32 that clear pitcher 🤩 is identical to mine ❤ I've never seen another before. I found mine buried in the mud, only thing sticking out was the handle! There's just a few small chips on the spout. But it's perfect in my eyes after spending 6 hours digging it out of a creek bed 😁🤣🤣🤣 I JUST realized I found it on my birthday 34 years ago this week 🥰🥰
Glad to hear Melissa and her husband did the smart thing. Those outdoor lamps are spectacular! And someone creative could possibly make something out of them. They could be beautiful tables also. I think they’ll sell fast!
Benjamins was a very successful, high-end clothing store for women in downtown Salisbury Maryland on the Eastern Shore. I remember they were operating in early 1962 however, I’m not sure when they closed down their store but I’m pretty sure it operated for several decades.
Those light fixtures were AMAZING. It is easy to alter them. My daughter has those fixtures!!! She has a craftsman style home hunted for over a year ,online almost every day, to find them . She was able to easily alter them herself. She paid A LOT for them !! The new ones cost hundreds of dollars and the vintage ones are more expensive. Can’t believe you got them $8 🤯 Great score👏🏻👏🏻😃
Bird made of horn vs. chalk ware bunny. If I had to choose I’d get the bird. It has the cool factor and is more unique . Could be year round decor where as bunny is more common and more of an Easter decor. I know you will sell and I’m glad you got both. Congrats on the deal👍🏻
lol, my dad had the dog change holder on his dresser from around 1950 til 2014. rings on the tail, he stashed things in the underbelly successfully avoiding burglers!
Haven't watched video yet, but wanted to get comment in to help the algorithm.☺ They are always good and never disappoint. So thumbs up and looking forward to watching. Thanks for the content.
I hear you on buying things and listing things you are excited to sell. Yet with that said, it's also important to be able to get things that other people will like that's not always your personal taste.
Love your videos & glad you are back home safe & sound. I would be broke going to this flea market - everything for $1.00. I'm in S. CA. and our flea market prices are so much higher! You got some real scores - the rabbit, the thin taper candles - just stunning!! 🤣💕
I was thinking about Melissa & Barry, since one of last videos was of you visiting with them. Glad they were smart and high tailed it out of there. I hope their home is OK? We did make a donation to the American Red Cross disaster relief for their area. (That was easier said than done as we are in Canada but got it figured out). I am glad to say Canada sent over 700 linesmen & crew trucks down to the Carolinas & Florida. They are there now. People have been so sweet leaving little Canadian flags around as a thank you. I enjoy your videos on a Sunday AM with my coffee.
Hi! We are safe and back at home. Our home had some minor damage and I've already gotten our first quote to fix it. We truly got lucky to so many in the community. ❤
Wonderful haul Karen. ❤ I loved the outdoor lights you bought. They do look like craftsman lanterns. Someone is going to love those for their home. Have a wonderful time with your family in Virginia. ❤❤
I was in Florida a week before hurricane Milton and a week after Helene! It was so nice awimming in the Gulf....and when I returned home, I washed and waxed and steamed cleaned the interior of my car...my schedule is not as vusy as yours.
Hi lavender my name is Andrea jones live in Mansfield Nottinghamshire England love watching your videos watching right now Keri up the good work take care Andrea
Hi Karen. Loved the video. I also love to read the comments as many times I learn from your viewers. I agree that Rodger needs to protect his baby blues. I remember when Anderson Cooper actually sunburned his eyes, they are the same baby blue color. I hope he also reads the comments! We all adore you both and want you to live long healthy lives side by side ❤ You are my favorite reseller and RUclipsr. Your videos never disappoint. If you ever come to the Midwest I’d love to meet you two!
The yellow Pyrex bowl came in a set of 3 with clear lids decorated in a sunburst pattern. I received them as a wedding gift in 1970 and after 54 years of regular use they are still in excellent condition. 😊 rece unurtnpttern.
Karen I'm always looking for small things. There easy easy to fit in with your decor and besides I just love them. Watch and learn a lot from you. Thanks!😅🎉
🌷🌷🌷 Look at you! are u two sharing the same sunkissed make-up highlights ? 😂.. just kidding you look both so shiny/glowy happy people . have a Blessed day
Please give us an update on how the lovely Methodist thrift store weathered the hurricane. People can evacuate. Buildings, unfortunately, have no choice but to stay. 😢
Brown Insulator: sometimes the inside sockets are made to thread onto a wooden dowel or short piece of wood, which holds the insulator when originally used. Some buyers want thw wood too. 😉
No never. You do get used to having your home all to yourself. At least, I did! Seriously it gets easier, but you will always worry. My daughter is 30 and I still so! You will be fine xx
The outdoor lamps look like Frank Lloyd Wright architecture to me. The chalk ware rabbit is cute, but I don’t like the turquoise ruffle around its neck.
I feel like bunnies are seasonal and birds are for year round decor, that particular bird is more like a sculpture, bunny may be ok in a kid’s room. But anything at the right price is good.
Luv your vlogs:) I've been binging them all weekend :) You said in a previous vlog that Roger starts all his auctions at .99 cents I was wondering why always .99 cents. Also, is there a reseller group on Instagram? You mentioned something about it in a previous vlog...Thanks for sharing
Great video ! The 1950's head vases were made ,also ,in the U.S. by Shawnee, and American artists. They are generally more valuable than the ones made in Japan.Vases signed Betty Nichols very sought after and very high prices received. There are other American artists that produced them.
Hi Karen. I just purchased a beautiful cross-stitched piece of a mama Siamese cat and her kittens. It’s beautifully done and is matted and framed. If I sell it should I just remove it from the frame and roll it up to ship it?
I think you might have missed a majolica plate at the flea market, right behind the crock you said would be good for utensils on the stove. Really enjoy your videos.

Karen is a nice person,period!
Roger is amazing. He has so much patience.
So happy to Mellisa and Bare, evacuated, and they are okay!
We are absolutely safe and home. ❤
I always kept a little area in my antique & vintage booths for fixtures, shaded, hardware & tools. Those light fixtures are gorgeous!

Digging through Box lots on the ground in Paris flea markets are the best - so many beautiful little things!
Have a safe trip to WV. Looking forward to the new Goodwill video.
Love watching you and Roger sourcing. Great finds as always!!
Art prints on card board were packaged inside powdered detergent when I was a kid. We loved it!
I remember the cardboard prints.
Thanks for taking us shopping!!

I could see those with planters on top or turned over with a candle inside.
Fun as always. Little squirrel is Hagen Renaker. Looking at the art you love, your calling is the Southwest. ❤
I think the chalk ware bunny will be great in your booth with your GIANT BUNNY! 🐇
Your haul for the day laid out on your dining table showed us just how beautiful your things are…
You have a great eye, Karen!
Hello, glad you bought the rabbit. Such great items you found. Greetings from Cape Town South Africa🇿🇦.
West Virginia has such beautiful mountains. Have fun
Your children are very responsible, because you raised them.
Oh thank you!! 💜😁

i do the same. i just like as soon as i start watching so i dont forget later. Wish more people would do that
Wow, thank you! 💜
I love the light fixtures. I would turn them upside down, put them on my mantle with candles inside. I'm always thinking out of the box!
I hear you on buying things and listing things you are excited to sell. Yet with that said, it's also important to be able to get things that other people will like that's not always your personal taste.
As long as you get them listed lol SO MANY sellers have death piles
@@lavenderclothesline oh I agree, I am guilty of that big time.
@@lavenderclotheslineYou need to consider it a "profit pile!"
I’m screaming get the rabbit lol I love your videos
Me too!
I love the basket. Good finds today. Have fun on the trip to see family.

What's the chance that I just saw your comment as she was looking at those lights?😊
It will be simple for someone to find what they need for the light covers. There are resources online for antique and vintage lighting. Beautiful!

I have just come back from a Flea Market at Shepton Mallet in the UK
That was a fast 38 minutes. Great shopping trip, thanks.
My mom had a wreath shaped Christmas candelabra that took those long, slim candles ❤
Love This Flea Market Too❤ Gorgeous LampShades. OMW😮😮❤
Your outdoor footage lighting was fine. I love your Roots Flea Market hauls. My son lives near it so we pop in once in awhile just to browse.
The basket is gorgeous. The $1.00 table was wonderful! Thanks, as always, for sharing.
I love West Virginia! It’s a beautiful state

I’m interested in that too!
I'll let you know tomorrow. We just got home. (Our home had minor damage compared to so many.❤)
@@freshbloominclothing Thanks! Our house too. Our screened in porch was completely gone in St. Pete, but we can live in the home.
Beautiful lanterns. Would love them for candles.
Love & Blessings Always
Love your finds.
The shades look like miniature japanse homes, I like them. They would be beautiful with a candle in them or something else that lights up. 😃
10 dollar for the beaded purse was already a steal. 😙
Great finds Karen! Also, I always love how organized you are!!!! 😊
Hello Karen and Roger watching replay

I’m in Sarasota. I would have bought that souvenir trinket wicker dish! Oh well! Enjoy your videos!
I loved seeing you and your daughters thrifting in Virginia. They remind me of you.
Both, the rabbit and the bird out of a horn. You did good and got lots of goodies! Thanks for sharing!!
Great show! Be safe and love to your beautiful family.
Ahhhhh “behind the 8 ball”, and it is throwing a curve ball.
light fixtures would be really pretty upside down with candle inside.
❤ Enjoy your fam8ly catch up ❤
Love all your finds! I’ve never found good deals like that at Roots. I’ll have to go again and look for the same vendors.
Brown Insulator: sometimes the inside sockets are made to thread onto a wooden dowel or short piece of wood, which holds the insulator when originally used. Some buyers want thw wood too. 😉
OMG! When you were debating about the rabbit and the horn I thought "Get them both and see if they will take $8!
Princess Karen delivers another awesome show with her sidekick Roger ahaha 😅
Roger is her Prince
Those bird prints are beautiful 😀
Love your video's
Yay! You got the bird!
I’m in love with that bird! Birds are kinda my thing especially if they are unusual like carved from a horn!
Karen, I’m 2 months into empty nesting. Do moms ever stop worrying about their children? Even the good, responsible, compassionate kids?
No
No never. You do get used to having your home all to yourself. At least, I did! Seriously it gets easier, but you will always worry. My daughter is 30 and I still so! You will be fine xx
❤️🩹 No never if you love your children. My oldest is 47 and I still fret. You will like the extra closet space though 😉
I'm worried about them even after I die.
No
The outdoor lamps look like Frank Lloyd Wright architecture to me. The chalk ware rabbit is cute, but I don’t like the turquoise ruffle around its neck.
HK purses r great seller, live the Bunny, the bird and especially the 2 brass light shades ..wow. maybe auction on those 😊

I own that PBN painting, among many others
Hi Kearney, the wiener dog holds wallet and change. I bought one for my daughter! You got a great deal at $6, it’s worth a lot more! Love your videos!
I would love to purchase those blue star ornaments from you. They are so cute. You always find such good things.😍
I have a horn bird scullpture too!
Your light fixtures might be Tiffany hang lamps by Frank Loyd Wright. Wouldn't that be something.
