Glad M moved before this storm, hopefully she and B are safe, my family in Valrico only lost power a few hours. Glad when you tell us prices on retail, thanks!
Don Featherstone is famous here in the Fitchburg/Leominster area in Massachusetts for designing the plastic pink flamingo. He passed away a few years ago. His wife always made them matching shirts with pinck flamingoes on them. The animated film Gnomeo and Juliet had a pink flamingo character named Featherstone in it to honor him.
I tried to do that and change the ornaments for different seasons. With my big Believe sign behind it. I mean in the summer you put pink flamingo lights on it and if you look for travel tags for your suitcases they have flip flops you can hang from the tree. lol you get very creative in the OFF seasons. He made me take it down as it was ridiculous he said to have a two foot tall tree on the long table all year round. Plus my puppy likes to take her nose and poke at the ornaments. Other then that I miss that tree. 😂
The velvet ornaments, wow! I have been collecting vintage Christmas decor for many years, and I’ve never seen those! You find the most amazing treasures ❤️
Hi Karen - the dress at 31:59 is actually “Papagallo” and not “Capagallo.” There is a parrot next to the name…papagallo is “parrot” in Spanish. Cheers, Katia
Loved everything you purchased. So glad you got the navy dress, you can't beat a good navy. You & Roger had me laughing because you were both saying how you told each other different things & both of you were ignoring each other, so funny. Fantastic video
That Turkey blow mold is ADORABLE; I've never seen one like that before. Love the St. John Black suit and the nice items Roger picked up. I sourced yesterday at my favorite big box store and found several beautiful pieces for $1. I can't wait to list them. Enjoy your weekend!!
THIS is the video I needed to add joy and relaxation to my Sunday, thank you! I love how you shake things up with your sourcing. Those vintage “flocked” ornaments you found are VERY valuable. They were so popular last Christmas that people were replicating those same ornaments with a new flock technique, Target and other stores sold out of flocked ornaments. I loved all the owls in that place 🥰 The booth where the oil lamps were had mini “baby” oil lamps, did you see them, so cute!
Good evening Karen, wow I loved the pig and owl bookends. Also the Jesus picture. I would have taken the pig despite the eye defect. It adds more character to the item and a reminder that not everything is perfect in this world. All of us have flaws😊.. Greetings from Cape Town South Africa🇿🇦❤️.
Hi kids! Loved the video. Love to see my favorite love birds out sourcing together. I can’t go out sourcing right now as I am one of the unlucky one in three who will come down with Shingles. I am 55 and thought I’d wait to get the vaccine per my doctor’s recommendation. Boy I sure regret that decision. Go out and get the vaccine while you’re healthy! I wish I had. It’s pretty miserable, it affects everyone differently but my body decided my head, ear, and mouth would be a place to break out. All on one side of my body. It’s sucks, but there are people who have it much worse in the world. I will be ok and in the meantime I have your videos to watch. Thank you for the entertainment!
My Sister In Law had shingles, and she would break out right above her bum, and she would be in so much pain! I am so sorry you are dealing with this and hope you get better quickly 😊
Got shingles vaccine at age 60. Broke out with shingles at age 64. A hard case too! But I believe in vaccines, after all I’ve survived one virus that almost killed me - Polio! Was in an iron lung, could only move my eyes at one point. Now 76 and have Post Polio Weakness Syndrome. No more antiquing, thrift stores, etc. But, I enjoy through your videos. Love everything you capture. Thank you. 🥰
Oh I used to have the best luck at goodwill for coats and jackets. I still have the vintage 100% wool ,with original buttons, in perfect condition. I love that coat ❤. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a turkey blow mold before. Score!
@@lavenderclothesline I meant to complete this post but never did. Oops I know that you love to vacation there and wondered if you’d heard of the terrible damage there. My cousin and her husband evacuated inland and are fine. They were given word that they will be allowed to return to the island tomorrow but will have to get there via the bridge on foot as no cars will yet be allowed. The main road was destroyed. They do have another home, however Bradenton Beach is their main and permanent home. Will hear more tomorrow. I know that the residents there are strong and will rebuild what needs to be. ❤️

Loved the velvet ornaments. Never saw the baby head vase before. Also really liked the small square plate that was a hobby dish. It really appealed to me and not something I’d ordinarily pick up but this one I would have. Cookies on a plate along with tea.
Oh my gosh! That turkey blow mold. We’re the same age and I have never seen one! I just looked at comps. SCORE! Go Karen go!😊 🦃 And Roger is such a great guy.🙂
I broke down and went to sportsman warehouse. Bought FroggTog jacket. Waterproof. Lightweight. Hooded. Going on a cruise in 3 weeks so it’ll be perfect and handy when I get home and take my walks when it’s rainy.
I really look forward to my Sunday morning video from Karen. You’re a thing in my house. lol ❤ I’m not sure about the carved wooden bird you looked at, but I do have a BOLO for you. Carved ironwood animals/seashells by the Seri Indians from Mexico. I have one on eBay that has bid up to over $200 with 3 days to go. Worth a look up when you come across them. Enjoy the rest of your weekend
Papagallo used to have their own boutique shop. Known for preppy attire: whale print raincoats, wood handled purses with buttons for changing the covers, duckboots, etc. It was my sister's favorite store in the late 70s, early 80s.
Hello from Germany :-) ....at minute 36:45 the zipper on the jacket is onthe right side ... it is a mans --- L L means LADYS LEFT ( that is for zippers and buttons ) to remember wich is wich 😀

Karen, I've been looking for a light weight wind breaker with a hood too! ...for over a year! I find expensive ones in department stores but never at Goodwill or thrift stores. You got some great stuff and I loved the trip thru the antique mall. We only have one small one around here so love to see what treasures are in the others. Your prices are so good! Barr codes came into effect in 1973, so your turkey is not really old, but I think old enough. Very cute for fall.
Isn’t 1973 like 50 years ago? 🤭
@@lavenderclothesline It is, but in the classification of antique, it is not old enough. lol Gotta be real old, old as dirt Karen.
