Okay I think we need to have a Goodwill Survivor Series. Couples get dropped off at Goodwill for a week with a small budget and only the clothes on their back. They have to buy all of their necessities, clothing to wear, pajamas, pillows blankets to sleep there with, hopefully that week they'll have toothbrushes... Dishes to eat on and glasses to drink out of etc... Anything you need for the week you have to find there. In the meantime you can buy something to flip for a quick profit on eBay so you have food money .. to be ubered in ... you know something like that.. it would be hysterical.

besides the things you mentioned, you love picking up miniatures and then going in the opposite direction and picking up huge artwork! Ha ha. I adore the artwork that you pick up. Karen, My mother used to receive Gumps mail order catalogs. Just lovely and expensive items. Items exactly like you thrift! I love looking at their online catalogs for inspiration, just wish I could find the items in the wild like you do!
The wine cabinet is pronounced "Henry Don". Great find...it is absolutely beautiful!!

I don't care about celebrating holidays either. Everyday is the same. I also put up tree etc. just when kids were home, now I just put a wreath on the door and tiny table top tree 😅

Do you know what that vanity set reminds me of? When I was a kid, my folks would give me a little money at Christmas to shop for my family. That looks like something I would buy for my mom from Grant's. Such great memories❤❤
My family was in the furniture business for many decades and sold Henredon. We pronounced it Henry-Don and yes, it’s a very nice brand. Your bar cabinet is a great find!

I think you should specify that Eastern PA is the best for thrifting. Not so great here on the Western side. I envy the great selection you have at your Goodwills!

Bar Cabinet: many of the older pieces are certainly well made, but I find many of them to feel short, by modern standards. The last one we had was rosewood and was kitchen counter height, so more functional whelps actually used. 😉

The baskets you described as ‘rope’ look like sea grass to me. It’s a natural fibre that is twisted to give it more substance and strength. You can get rugs and all manner of things made from sea grass, it’s very popular here in the UK 🇬🇧

Beautiful piece of furniture. That’s a dining room server. The expanding sides so you can place all your food on it. Terrific at Thanksgiving with all the side dishes and a big turkey. Love it!
Yes, I always knew that as a DR Server as well… but works wonderfully as a bar I suppose… just more good words to use in the Marketplace advertising of it!
I found that same Van Briggle vase at a yard sale for $1.00 a couple of years ago. I love it! So happy for you with the Teco vases. What a find!! And that gorgeous Henredon bar cart was a super score!!

I have 2 Bose radio/CD players for well over a decade - one in the primary bedroom, one in the living area - both in the black color - exceptional sound from the speakers. It's a wonderful find if the CD player works! Great video...thanks for sharing.

My favorite place to get faux greenery and silk flowers is the goodwill bins. You can get them for practically nothing.

Painted Horse: the Trail of Ponies is from a large series and like any collectible, some of the designs bring better prices then others. I see them come up in our area’s local auction as singles, pairs and small groups. There is a market for them, but it’s all about condition and the buy in price. 😉
I'm a little surprised that you aren't keeping the bar cabinet; it looks nice in the living room or even I n your bedroom would be nice. ❤😅
