Roger and you are an amazing couple,I love your videos with him! Maybe people don’t understand the love banter that you and Roger have. My husband passed away last year and I so miss his teasing and our back and forth banter! Good for you and Roger! I can see you love and respect each other🤗
Okay I think we need to have a Goodwill Survivor Series. Couples get dropped off at Goodwill for a week with a small budget and only the clothes on their back. They have to buy all of their necessities, clothing to wear, pajamas, pillows blankets to sleep there with, hopefully that week they'll have toothbrushes... Dishes to eat on and glasses to drink out of etc... Anything you need for the week you have to find there. In the meantime you can buy something to flip for a quick profit on eBay so you have food money .. to be ubered in ... you know something like that.. it would be hysterical.
Karen, you are so full of info about your craft and so kind to the Goodwill employees. I really enjoy watching both you and Rodger out sourcing together. And Happy Happy Birthday a little bit early!
Hi Karen…you used to almost always start with the wood aisle, so I’d say wood, miniature art and pottery. Love the bar cabinet, what a score! Have a great day!🇨🇦
Oh my gosh! That bar cart is absolutely incredible. What an amazing find! I just love watching you & Roger in action. I’ve been watching you for a long time & it’s becoming more difficult to remember your videos before Roger. He has become such a popular part of your channel. It’s obvious how happy he makes you & that is everything! 😊
Aloha from Hawaii! The small ceramic pieces in the plastic bag are decorative chopstick rests to be used at a table setting. Love watching you and Roger thrift together….. you’re such a cute couple! 🥰
Great video! You love to look for small framed artwork, artwork in general and baskets! You try so hard to stay away from these sometimes but you love them too much! LOL! Love your channel!
I love your videos cuz you take us down isles with you and we can see various items. I love your little commentaries on what you pick up! I almost feel like I'm there with you! You both find the bestest stuff!
Good morning, Karen & Roger! Huntington Home is sold at Aldi's, probably retailed for $6.99. I always wait till they're on sale for $2.99 and buy them then.
Great finds. I know you guys hear it all the time, but you both are so cute together. My hubs and I have been married 30+ years when he goes with me sourcing he's so patient and helpful. It's great to have someone share life's journey together. Keep living, keep loving, and definitely keep growing together. God bless you both.
I don't care about celebrating holidays either. Everyday is the same. I also put up tree etc. just when kids were home, now I just put a wreath on the door and tiny table top tree 😅
I think the creamer to the sugar bowl you were looking for was in the mug section Karen! Kind of hard to see but it looks like it at 34:22 all the way in the back of the shelf? slightly left of Roger and the red flower mugs. Possibly?
besides the things you mentioned, you love picking up miniatures and then going in the opposite direction and picking up huge artwork! Ha ha. I adore the artwork that you pick up. And I have to say, your blue blouse in the intro is gorgeous! You have such fabulous taste in blouses, and you look beautiful. Have a great week.❤
Karen, My mother used to receive Gumps mail order catalogs. Just lovely and expensive items. Items exactly like you thrift! I love looking at their online catalogs for inspiration, just wish I could find the items in the wild like you do!
I think you should specify that Eastern PA is the best for thrifting. Not so great here on the Western side. I envy the great selection you have at your Goodwills!
My family was in the furniture business for many decades and sold Henredon. We pronounced it Henry-Don and yes, it’s a very nice brand. Your bar cabinet is a great find!
Beautiful piece of furniture. That’s a dining room server. The expanding sides so you can place all your food on it. Terrific at Thanksgiving with all the side dishes and a big turkey. Love it!
Yes, I always knew that as a DR Server as well… but works wonderfully as a bar I suppose… just more good words to use in the Marketplace advertising of it!
Omg survivor is my FAVORITE show ever! 😊❤ love the episode! 😊 watching from Birmingham Alabama……p.s, you sound like a Disney princess! So sweet and such a soft voice. 😊
Love the Celtic dragon, mermaid gravy boat, the pineapple lamp, Roger's Lennox dishes, and many others. Wow! The Teco vase auction is another amazing outcome!!! The bar cabinet was another great find. You're the bom, Karen and Roger! Hugs and happy week!
The shell thing you found at the beginning of the video could be a plant hanger, for houseplants. The 5-finger vase looks like the one I brought from Williamsburg many years ago. I have 2 hand mirrors in different sizes that match the pretty dresser set. I would love to find that!! I enjoy your videos and learn a great deal from you. Happy Shopping!!
You two make me laugh. “If I was born, you were born” statement from Roger made me chuckle. I think it’s cute banter between you and your hubby. My hubby and I do the same, just shows how comfortable we are with each other ❤
I had one of those dining/bar carts years ago. Mine was solid cherry...a good & solid quality brand, (can't recall the name.) As you know, Henredon is typically sold in high-end furniture stores and is very expensive, but also made to the highest standards. If I still had my very small booth and came across that deal, I'd cram it in somehow. Woo hoo! Great find!
I have collected a lot of celluloid over the years and know that it was a great look on a dresser in the 30's. Wouldn't have put that back for 3 dollars. You can't even buy a cup of coffee for that.
Amazing finds! Henredon! That piece is gorgeous! Love your videos! Love the way you and Roger interact and play around! My husband is retiring December 20th this year and the plan is to resell together. Can’t wait to start that chapter in our lives! Oh and Steve is a cabinet maker by trade as well. Family business. 😊 Happy reselling!
Congratulations on your beautiful finds. My question is how do you part with them?! A wheat bundler too? You really are a woman of much and varied talent. Thanks for another great video. It was fun to watch.
Bar Cabinet: many of the older pieces are certainly well made, but I find many of them to feel short, by modern standards. The last one we had was rosewood and was kitchen counter height, so more functional whelps actually used. 😉
Nice piece of furniture. Hmm, why would it be located so far away from where other furniture items are displayed? It seems like it was planted there quietly by someone - oddly located beside the handbags? You were both lucky to find it there. Greetings from Scotland. Enjoy the channel and professionalism of you both.
What a great video, you both did great! So enjoy watching your videos. The furniture piece is beautiful! You both work so hard, & that's why you're both so successful & it couldn't happen to a nicer couple
I live down the street from one of the original Van Briggle pottery buildings. It was in an old train roundhouse. There is a collection of the pottery in the Pioneer Museum in Colorado Springs.
I found that same Van Briggle vase at a yard sale for $1.00 a couple of years ago. I love it! So happy for you with the Teco vases. What a find!! And that gorgeous Henredon bar cart was a super score!!
That location has become huge. It could be an all day kind of shopping place. Love the dishes, plain but elegant. I would want to keep them. I have two rosewood square/side tables that open up like that and when put together form a square coffee table. Also on wheels. Circa 1960's.
The baskets you described as ‘rope’ look like sea grass to me. It’s a natural fibre that is twisted to give it more substance and strength. You can get rugs and all manner of things made from sea grass, it’s very popular here in the UK 🇬🇧
Do you know what that vanity set reminds me of? When I was a kid, my folks would give me a little money at Christmas to shop for my family. That looks like something I would buy for my mom from Grant's. Such great memories❤❤
Painted Horse: the Trail of Ponies is from a large series and like any collectible, some of the designs bring better prices then others. I see them come up in our area’s local auction as singles, pairs and small groups. There is a market for them, but it’s all about condition and the buy in price. 😉
I have a lovely pine 4 drawer chest by Henredon that I purchased new in 1979. It has aged beautifully over the years. It’s very heavy and if I remember correctly I paid $800 for it.
I love the sweet banter between them! Especially, in the beginning, teasing Karen about her age! They have such a great relationship!
I agree! ‘If I was born, you were born too!😂👍’
A quality piece of furniture made in NC .we take pride in it!!! You got the buy of the month!!!
Roger and you are an amazing couple,I love your videos with him! Maybe people don’t understand the love banter that you and Roger have. My husband passed away last year and I so miss his teasing and our back and forth banter! Good for you and Roger! I can see you love and respect each other🤗

That would be hilarious!!
Oh I think your onto something
Ohhh...love the bar cart you found! Thanks for sharing your day with us!

2 wreaths are for a double front door
Aloha from Hawaii! The small ceramic pieces in the plastic bag are decorative chopstick rests to be used at a table setting. Love watching you and Roger thrift together….. you’re such a cute couple! 🥰
That bar cart/wine cart is an amazing find! It’s a very beautiful piece. 🩷🌸🩷
I just wanted to tell u , you always have the prettiest manicures. U have inspired me to start painting my nails at 48 yrs old!
Thank you! 💜
That Bar Cart is Everything!
Great video! You love to look for small framed artwork, artwork in general and baskets! You try so hard to stay away from these sometimes but you love them too much! LOL! Love your channel!
Was that set ivory? Looks much like my great grandmother had on her dresser a Very long time ago..lol
I love when you get excited over a find!!
I love your videos cuz you take us down isles with you and we can see various items. I love your little commentaries on what you pick up! I almost feel like I'm there with you! You both find the bestest stuff!
Karen, you always go for the artwork!!🎨
Wow!Love the wood cabinet in your home.Would be hard for me to give up!❤
I was having a midday break and listening to you. My husband said what you doing I said oh I’m Thrifting and having a ball!
I want those TASSLE EARRINGS you are wearing!🤩 And to answer your question..., the stuff I think you like looking for besides baskets are paintings!
Always amazed at the items you score. Roger seems to becoming more comfortable on camera.
Yes, Henredon furniture is fine furniture. Good find!!
Good morning, Karen & Roger! Huntington Home is sold at Aldi's, probably retailed for $6.99. I always wait till they're on sale for $2.99 and buy them then.
Ours are $4.99 for the candles at Aldi
Karen, your favorite item to sell would be anything HIGH PROFIT.. Even better if it were small. Great score on the bar cart. 👍
Great finds. I know you guys hear it all the time, but you both are so cute together. My hubs and I have been married 30+ years when he goes with me sourcing he's so patient and helpful. Hen ree don.. it is an INCREDIBLY high end furniture brand. Great find!!!
The Bose sound wave system is a good find! I’ve got one of my own and I had a Bose sound dock for iPod and it sold quickly!
Survivor is my #1, absolute FAVORITE show!!! My 12 year old is just as into it now and watches with me now! 🥰🔥
I don't care about celebrating holidays either. Everyday is the same. I also put up tree etc. just when kids were home, now I just put a wreath on the door and tiny table top tree 😅
Me too!
I don’t enjoy putting up holiday decor. I always enjoy the lights and trees that others put up.
I think the creamer to the sugar bowl you were looking for was in the mug section Karen!
Kind of hard to see but it looks like it at 34:22 all the way in the back of the shelf? slightly left of Roger and the red flower mugs. Possibly?
My husband used to work for Lenox.Always look for made in USA. Love shopping with you two

Love this store, two wreaths we have a lot of houses here with double front doors that's why there are two. Love to hear your chats, keep it up !
I think you should specify that Eastern PA is the best for thrifting. Not so great here on the Western side. I envy the great selection you have at your Goodwills!
I agree. Central PA not so great either.
My family was in the furniture business for many decades and sold Henredon. We pronounced it Henry-Don and yes, it’s a very nice brand. Your bar cabinet is a great find!

The wine cabinet is pronounced "Henry Don". Great find...it is absolutely beautiful!!
You two are the cutest together, it reminds me of my husband he sometimes becomes a little clueless. That was a good giggle….you two are doing A-okay!
Omg survivor is my FAVORITE show ever! 😊❤ love the episode! 😊 watching from Birmingham Alabama……p.s, you sound like a Disney princess! So sweet and such a soft voice. 😊
Karen loves Roger very much, and would never be sarcastic. They are joking, like most husband and wifes do.
Wives
I am sure they can have issues like any couple 😊
I love him madly 😁👍
@@susangetz9202we get along amazingly well!
@@lavenderclothesline We can tell!

Wooden bowls and baskets seem to excite you the most. Oh- and teeny framed art work. Maybe that is number one. LOL. So much treasure.
Excellent brand on the bar cart and a great buy.
Oh breaking rules for sure. That cart is exquisite!!!
Artwork!!!!
You two make me laugh. “If I was born, you were born” statement from Roger made me chuckle. I think it’s cute banter between you and your hubby. My hubby and I do the same, just shows how comfortable we are with each other ❤
Hi Karen, Small artwork...sweet masterpiece paintings in petite frames. I think I'll add that to your list, hope that's ok. 😉
Absolutely!! 🥰
Love the cabinet I would have to keep it so beautiful. When will you ever find another one for that. price.
I had one of those dining/bar carts years ago. Mine was solid cherry...a good & solid quality brand, (can't recall the name.) it is celluloid, i have ahuge set with nail thingee, hair brush comb, all the fun things.
I have collected a lot of celluloid over the years and know that it was a great look on a dresser in the 30's. Wouldn't have put that back for 3 dollars. You can't even buy a cup of coffee for that.
Amazing finds! Henredon! That piece is gorgeous!

Oh my goodness Karen!!! Love the Teco vases! SO AWESOME, great find!!! YEAH!!
That's a wonderful piece of furniture
I think you love your ART ...more than baskets🤭🥰
Congratulations on your beautiful finds. My question is how do you part with them?! A wheat bundler too? You really are a woman of much and varied talent. Thanks for another great video. It was fun to watch.

Wow great find with the furniture. I think your favorites are wood and artwork but I haven't been watching for long.
A little old English polish will work wonders and do the trick! I use it all the time.
Oda Geary pottery is one of your favorites! Teco is your new favorite, lol! Love your videos and you and Roger are so sweet together!💗
Your painted horse reminded me of 'Miles of Mules' that were placed around the Lehigh Valley and Bucks County.
Henredon furniture is well made and beautiful. Great find.
Learned something new about your many talents-wheat bundling.
Miniature artwork is another favorite.

As soon as Roger showed those dishes I knew you were going to want them for yourself!
I live down the street from one of the original Van Briggle pottery buildings. It was in an old train roundhouse. There is a collection of the pottery in the Pioneer Museum in Colorado Springs.
Yup the bar on wheels . Yes all day long
I believe the vanity set is celluloid. The hair receiver helps date it.
Fabulous content today❤
That bar table it's beautiful and looks perfect in that spot in your living room.
I found that same Van Briggle vase at a yard sale for $1.00 a couple of years ago. I love it! So happy for you with the Teco vases. What a find!! And that gorgeous Henredon bar cart was a super score!!
Great finds Karen...I think the little ceramic pieces are knife rests...
Henredon furniture is worth thousands of dollars!! That piece is gorgeous
Small framed artwork is your favorite ❤
Same here about Christmas decorating!! It depends completely on who is or is not visiting. No children in the house any more. 😍
Art Work, Karen , you like art work. Hee hee hee. Love the video.
Karen,you love artwork,especially miniatures.
I think artwork is your favorite.
The two wreath's was probably for a double front wood and glass door . Those are on a lot of really nice homes here in the south 🤗
The Teco vases are beautiful! Love them.
When you said Teco I chuckled because its our Electric Company in Tampa. ❤
Artwork ❤

I gasped with glee and yelled out loud when you grabbed those Teco vases!
About to binge the videos I missed ❤
I have a lovely pine 4 drawer chest by Henredon that I purchased new in 1979. It has aged beautifully over the years. It’s very heavy and if I remember correctly I paid $800 for it.
