And here's a joke to go with it.. A farmer went out to check on his cattle after a severe wind storm. He was so impressed that they were unscathed, and he said to them, "How in the world did you manage to stay upright in that wind?"... And you got it.... They said to the farmer, "We bulls wobble, but we don't fall down." 😂😂😂😅
I bought a $2 baggie of stuff at Salvation Army. It had a postcard of a restaurant in Portland OR that no longer exists. The card was new old stock and unposted. I listed it and it brought $158! I couldn't believe it. There was a bidding war over this postcard
Try the powder can of Barkeeper's Friend. I used it on the inside of a set of bowls that had been stacked & were scuffed. Took All the marks off. Look almost Brand New. It's not as abrasive as Ajax.Magic eraser sometimes leaves dull streaks on certain surfaces. Had a fun time tagging along with you and Roger. Thank You ! I love the little school 🏫 🪑 ! Brings back good memories of Reading Circle in the 3rd grade. And the Carved Wood piece is Beautiful !! ❤️ Pottery Barn Duvet is lovely 💙 As were the Cream Pillow Shams. The Stained glass Shade is very cool 😎 Subscriber from Indiana 📖 🪑🏫📖🪑🏫📖🪑🏫📖🪑🏫. Roger knows his "Stuff". You both had full carts !!! Oh ! About the Tole painted Bird Tray; People around Here Collect Them. You could always put it in your Booth and list on E-Bay. I'd shine it up with some polish or beeswax before photographing. Would be nice on a Hutch or Shelf with Crockery on display.
I came here to suggest the powder form of Bar Keeper's Friend, as well! Works a treat for those grey utensil marks on plates and inside coffee cups and bowls. It never fails to remove them for me!
You are both very cute together. Very knowledgeable. It’s very generous of you to share your knowledge in the videos. I’m not a reseller. I just enjoy watching. 😊
16:09 There was a wooden pineapple lamp next to the stained glass shade that I was hoping you’d look at. The vintage ones can do well :) It’s always fun shopping with you & Roger 😊 Thank you so much for taking us with you, as always. ❤
I think it’s cool that you thrift seperately together! You don’t have to be joined at the hip! And it’s actually fun for you to check out your spouse’s cart❤
That Bob Dylan poster came with a 33rpm album in the late 1960's. It was reissued recently so you need to figure out which one you have. If it was folded, it very well might be one that came inside of the album.
That's exactly what I thought even though I was very young when that came out. I remember lots of posters being in albums. I just looked it up and saw one person selling it for over $1,100😮
I love watching the two of you shop together. The way you interact with each other is so wonderful and we can see the obvious love you have for each other.
I'd love to see Roger grow out the top of his hair! The color is stunning and it's so thick. It would definitely be more maintenance, but being a hairstylist, I can't help but imagine how great that would look. Most men his age are not so fortunate ❤
Roger found lots of goodies!! He knows his products!! Fun to watch them shop! Karen...you got lots of goodies also. What a great day for Goodwill shopping! Thanks for sharing!
Love how Roger is getting so comfy in front of the camera and talking to us! He really killed it this trip! I do love the painted trays, but don't collect them. Wishing you both a lovely week!
Would definitely put the little chair in your store and maybe place a fake potted flower or nice plant on it as a display so people could see what it could be used for. 😊
I look forward to your videos and wait till I have no distractions to watch. You two are the most handsome couple. Love all your content. I have 326 listings on eBay and thanks to you I’ve learned so much.
Wishing Roger a Happy Father's Day. Loved his haul. Those Polo shirts were a score for sure. Great video. Is it time to wish you two a Happy 1st Anniversary???
Karen,I found my first ever Johnny Was embroidered tunic top- thanks to you I recognized the name, made a great profit so thank you! I'm still learning after 22 yrs on ebay. And Happy Father's Day,Roger!!
When it comes to glass... I love clear!! With food, you can see all the beautiful, colorful fruit inside... or the M&M!! Buy Clear Glass!! Thanks for the info & FUN!
I have been watching you for over two to three years. But never have introduce myself. Live in Salem Oregon. I had a booth at a antique shop after I retired. I love it, but then the shop lost their lease. And then covid hit. Never got back into it. But I loved the hunt and did a lot of painted furniture for the booth.. Love your channel. I jump for joy that Roger and You got married. I could see it in your eyes that there was love in the air. You balance each other out. I love that he blushes when you put him on the spot. And he doesn't have an answer. FYI, Barkeepers cleaning powder will remove the marks on your cup. I use it on my dishes and Pyrex items. It doesn't scarch the finish. Take care, big hug, always.
The gold colored cake pans...who knew!!! Typical Roger, oh they go for $80.00... U guys continue to amaze us daily!!! What a couple, we are so lucky to hang with u!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
For your mug, bar keepers friend. With the powder I mix a bit of warm water with it and make a paste. Then scoop up the paste with a sponge and scrub away. Use a little lighter touch on the outside. To extra clean the mug prior to scrubbing, in a spray bottle with distilled vinegar, spritz the mug with the vinegar before scrubbing. That's all I got!!! Hi Roger!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
The leaded lamp shade....Epic!!!! And Super Epic!!! I am so jealous!!! The raised grapes alone took great skill to fuse together and then work into the piece!!! Extremely impressive!!! Still soooo jealous!!! Lol 💞💞🙃💞💞
I love little chairs! Collect antique ones and some newer ones. 2 weeks ago, I got a child's chair similar to your but mine was painted white. I'm handpainting a big rose colored flower on it.
Love you guys. What an inspiring work ethic! Just an FYI on your little butter crock if no one has said this already: It was made by Robinsons Ransbottom Pottery Co. (hence the RRPCo) of Roseville Ohio. It should NOT be confused with the slightly more collectible Roseville Pottery, (possibly of Zanesville) also made in Ohio.
Roger knows his stuff… he’s a keeper even if it’s just for his knowledge but he’s cute too😊😊😊 you guys are a great team between the both of youse the amazing things found unbelievable ❤❤❤
The "Roseville" crock you found at 6:54 was made by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company OF Roseville Ohio. It is NOT Roseville Pottery. Roseville Pottery was made in Zanesville Pottery.
Hello Karen, I’m so glad I caught your video early today. I really enjoy you and Roger. Fun to watch the different things you both purchase. Hope you’re enjoying the summer. Hugs from Switzerland 🇨🇭 💕
I live in Springfield Oregon about ten minutes from Autzen Stadium and the Oregon Ducks. Phil Knight (Nike) is to the U of O what Michael Jordan is to the Carolina Tarheels. Major financial contributor. Was hilarious when you asked Roger how he just knew Beaverton was the home of Nike😂. Also funny when the next clothing item Roger pulled out was an Oregon shirt! The man knows his sports!
There was an older man that shopped our Goodwill everyday and his daughter gave him a 22:04 surprise birthday party in the Goodwill I was surprised that Goodwill went along with it but they had cake and all the decorations he was so surprised and had such a good time
I love your car chats with Roger. So cute. The love between you two seeps thru so wonderfully. I also just noticed his eyes are gorgeous. Happy Father's Day to him!
Yeah, that's what I just said and I looked it up and indeed it did. We're right! It came from a greatest hits album in about 1965 if I recall correctly
@@LannieLord not true... They are making reproductions of this poster which says a lot. Finding an album from the 60s is a huge thing but to find the insert is even a bigger thing because people would stick them on their walls and they would often rip when they came down. If you look through the images, the Vintage posters are almost all upwards of 1100 dollars. Bob Dylan is not just an old folk singer he is an American icon and being that he's in his early eighties and still performing I can't imagine what his memorabilia will be worth after his death... I have inherited about 120 T-shirts from the 70s and 80s punk bands and many t-shirts and sweat shirts of Elton John and David Bowie. My brother was heavily into Punk but he was a Pianist and a huge Elton John (and Bowie) fan. Anyway, I recently did some research about this and much of the t-shirts I have are worth quite a bit. A lot of it depends on the obscurity of the band or the popularity but the older iconic shirts like Madman and Caribou are also worth a lot. They were almost sent to the Goodwill! I was very close to my brother and grabbed most of his clothes just because I couldn't let go of my baby brother. I didn't know how valuable they were ... 😥❤ RIP Eric Rissolo
Barkeepers Friend will take gray utensil marks off of all kinds of pottery and dishes! Try it - it also works on Le Creuset enamel interiors or any pan with white enamel interiors. Use a scotchbrite type sponge with it (the rough side) and you will be surprised!
Love this video as always! I use pictures from old art/landscape/design books to replace art in frames. Books are inexpensive and plentiful and the photos work great to elevate the look of some frames
The poster was sold in the album, thus folded up and when pulled out it became the size of a small poster. Yep Bob Dylan.... also there is one in an album of Jimmy Hendrix... Late 60's maybe...💞💞🙃💞💞
Asking for a friend 😂 What a great clothing haul for Roger ! I had a Tupperware flashback with the mustard colored measuring cups Roger found. I had a set, cooked many a meals and baked many cakes using mine back in the day. The poster is very 70’s psychedelic ☮️
Goodwill needs major improvement on how their stores look inside. 2nd Avenue Thrift is so much better. I've started donating to 2nd Avenue because they give to the Purple Heart Foundation. Good Stuff in Langhorne, PA is another good thrift store that gives to Children's Hospitals.
I only buy squirrel proof birdfeeders. That's a great feeder find! I've always wanted one of those so I can watch the flying squirrels LOL! Love watching you both! ❤️
I was just in this Goodwill the day before you filmed this video. It was my first time in the Lancaster, PA Goodwill. Visiting from Biloxi, MS. Great pickups.
Peek Polish (comes in a tube like toothpaste) or Bar Keepers Friend for removing utensil marks. The Goodwill in my area was asking $29.99 for Starbucks mugs! Crazy!!
That pin game Roger had may have been a larger version of the peg game you find in restaurants. Where you start with one missing and you “jump” over another peg, remove it and keep jumping. Trying to only have one peg left. Just a thought. I love watching you shop together, so fun!
In one of your previous videos you found an Emma Bridgewater mug. I was so jealous. It does give me hope that one day I will find one too. I look for them everytime I'm in a thrift store
Weebles wobble but they won’t fall down! I remember the ad when I was a little kid. ❤️🇨🇦

Loved Roger saying “cut” when you gently told him the game was upside down. Lol
I am a Barbie girl collector. I found a much needed sweater to complete an outfit in a sandwich bag full of fabric scraps! 1.00!
I have a ton of my late brothers collection...I cannot get myself to list anything.
LOL...spoon swirl scratching = tool marks. That is that utensil marks on dishes is called. Use the powder form of Barkeepers Friend to remove.
Or Magic Eraser
Also used liquid bar keepers friend and baking soda!

It never fails to remove them for me!
Bon Ami is a gentle cleanser that has been around many many years. I use it on Pyrex as well. Takes those black spoon marks right out.
When Roger said "Guess I just loss those" when you were showing interest in the Nike medium sweatpants, I was just cracking up! You two are so funny!
OMG Those Tupperware measuring cups! I got married in '78 when avocado green and harvest gold was the in colors. I still have the green ones.
I have the yellow ones from about the same time. I use them almost every day ❤
Happy Father’s Day!
Horse ashtray was a $25+ item. Vintage ashtrays and equestrian are good finds. Hugs
This store was jam packed with good stuff. Thank you for filming the shelves for us. It was so much fun to watch & see what you both purchased

$60!!!!!!! Too funny-your surprise about the gold pans. You guys are such a sweet couple!!!
The Eileen Fisher coat was a good find. She uses sustainable materials and pays her workers fair wages.
Love the little cat in the gingham dress! Would buy that!

If Roger was a Tupperware salesperson, the lady would open the door and say I don't need any tupperwear but come on in cutie.yall are both cutie pies❤
That’s such a creepy thing to say.
It is a compliment. There is no need to take a negative view.

Omg that carved wood is spectacular
The Dylan poster may have come out of a music album. Those fold lines look to be “album size”. I had a few posters back in the day.

The key to limiting squirrels at your bird feeder is a seed mix that has a hot pepper coating. Birds cannot taste the hot pepper 🌶️, like mammals.
