You are so right, being unorganized is stressful. I didn't know selling on line was going to become a business for me, it started as a hobby. But like most, I love the thrill of the hunt/purchase. Now with a house full of inventory, I am torn between listing and organizing. To help me get it together, I have curtailed my thriftinng until I get a better handle on the situation. Thanks for the video.
Same here. I live in an apartment and haven't been able to sit on my couch for over a year, so no more sourcing for me until I get all my death piles organized AND listed!
As an artist, when we stretch canvas on stretchers we use staples so, staples do not make it cheaply made just stretched by a artist supply co. Only thing I think you are referring to is that when a canvas is stretched properly you cant see the staples unless you look at the back because the canvas covers the whole side and gets stapled in the back of the stretchers. Please don't take this as a criticism, just tryin to share info. Yes they are harmony Kingdom, I collect the treasure "jest" boxes. They are called Treasure Jest because there is always something inside and there is always something that doesn't make sense about the sculpt. Fun to collect.
True! I used to be a gallery artist in san Francisco years ago. My paintings on canvas I stretched myself were highly detailed and sold for high prices. I only ever used a staple gun to stretch them.
I wanted to say thank you for introducing me to the brand Dansk. I found a partial set of Dansk dishes. Including 6 dinner plates. A single plate sold for $20. I can't wait to get them listed.
Karen, Thank you for all you do❤! I started selling last year and its because of you Im doing ok. I have made a ton of mistakes and still learning. But, I’m growing. Thank you. You and Roger are hands down the best. I would love for you to have a meet and greet in Tampa!
Fontanini is always plastic/resin. It sells fairly quickly. If you break up the set into Holy family, 3 Kings, and piece the rest out, you can make a good profit.
Fun video, Karen! I think the French look metal holders are probably plant pot holders - I could use them, bc I grow Pelargoniums and they would look especially beautiful in those. Have a great week and weekend you two!
My basement is organized like yours but I have only 1600 items, however because I buy walk in closets full of items I frequently have a large amount in my to do pile.
Karen, you are so good at what you do! I love the systems that you have set up, your eye for beautiful objects and clothing, and seeing the warm and loving relationship you have with Roger! Thank you for your videos❤

Morning Karen. My favorite item you shipped in this video was the blue and white ceramic couple. I have collected these figurines for many years and have a cabinet full of them. My grandchildren think I'm crazy. 😂😂 . I also love all the baskets you find .I collect them also. My kids are going to have fun later on 😂😂.
New Order Amish are often seen as one of the most progressive of Amish groups. Less traditional dress, neatly groomed beards and hair, and homes with telephones and computers are just a few things that set them apart from their Old Order counterparts.
It looked like the black & white 3 farm pics were real air shots of someone’s farm property. I’ve seen many of those at my friends old country farms of their farms.
Karen, please send pix of those white ruffled glass lamp shades to Kayla at Homeschooling Picker. She has a multiple stem light fixture that could use those. Although, I think she needs more than four, they still look like they could fit.
Can I come over?🤣I am hungry now😅 Thank you for taking me/us shopping🥰 I always worry about your tiny wrists when you are pulling bens out. I know you know these things, but you are stronger than you look I am sure.🤩 I love it that you are so happy😘 makes for great videos.
My father always made sure women walked in before him. His mother died at seven, but his grand mother and male men around d him taught that. I see that in your husband I say, Oh, my father, what a great man!
Been following you from the beginning but barely comment. I have a question please...how did you learn how to tell if something is brass, crystal, onyx, etc. Also can you talk about how you can tell if hard goods are vintage - such as statues and wood boxes, etc? Thank you so much.
FYI not all of PA is as good as your area. I live on the other side in the Erie Pa area and our Goodwill's are not as good....even Pittsburgh's are not as good. Love watching your channel!
My favorite movie of Joan collins is straight jacket, From the 60s and up until this day being in my 60s I still love dangling bracelets and make noise..
I would have kept the goats because they are rare and many people raise goats and also make goat soap or sell goat milk, so I think they would love those on a shelf!
Thanks for sharing about ur family... usually the organization personality traits u have come from mom and/or dad.. i was always curious about u...ur an amazing person
I enjoy your channel. Also a reseller here! And a Fontanini lover, got my set in the 90s,and enjoy setting it up each Christmas season. Fontanini is made of resin, which is desirable as it's durable and doesn't break. Each piece can retail into mid 20s and up, so getting many for that price is amazing..I'm hoping to find some for my children. (Oh wow, still watching, and you got them all for $6! Someone in that store likes you!)
Completely agree with your assessment of hard goods vs. clothing in terms of the differing amounts of effort required at different stages in the selling process. I, too, prefer hard goods in terms of listing, but packing is definitely not as much fun! TY for your content
I love your commentary. Just curious if all your siblings look 20 years younger than they are as well. Your youthful energy and age defying look are mind blowing 🤯😁
When you showed the framed portrait of Joan Crawford I thought that the signature may have value. So I looked on eBay Sold items and her signature has sold for $40 to over $1,000. I don't know what makes one signature more valuable than another but there is value there. R.I.P. Miss Crawford 🌹
Thanks for the information. That is good to keep in mind if I ever happen upon a signature. And I'm not surprised about Steve McQueen, he always looked rather miserable.
If you are looking up sold comps on eBay, you have to change the filter to sold & completed in order to see completed sales & the final selling price. Click where it says “filter”, then scroll down to toggle the sold & completed over. It’s much easier to show someone than it is to tell someone how to do it, but I hope this helps.
Being able to sleep anywhere is a good skill to have in your arsenal. In my early twenties, I learned to sleep standing up, leaning against a wall while serving as a sailor on board a submarine. Any chance to get even a quick nap was taken. 😉
Desk Lamp Minute Mark 13: I've had the same lamp model on my office desk for many, many years. Back when I cleared delinquent storage units I'd process a hundred lamps a year, but something about the way the wood and brushed metal were done on this one appealed to me, so it became my desk lamp. I'm typing under it right now. But for resale, it has to make sense to buy it. 😉
What happened to the sold section? I like to go and see what you have sold that I see you thrifted - but there is no section to do that anymore - it just goes to your store and there is no option for sold anymore =( Did Ebay take that away or is it something you changed? I just checked Rogers store and he still has the option to go check categories and solds???
I figured it out - when you go to the store link - scroll down until it says see more - once you get there the margin shows up so you can choose from all the categories! Gees Karen! You must have surpassed some kind of listing quota maybe? LOL - Anyway I found it =)
I bought two anthropology mugs from two different sellers. Each mug was $15 plus $15 for shipping. Wow! Does that seem right? So two mugs cost me $60. Obviously I only paid this because they were specific mugs that go with others I have. But does that shipping cost seem correct? I am pleased to get the mugs - either way.
Most mugs are over 1 lb. in weight and we have to factor in the weight of the box and padding to protect your item when calculating the weight. If you are on one side of the US, and the seller was on the opposite coast, then yes, the shipping would be higher based on the rates that USPS charges.
Karen I love how you talk yourself into and out of purchasing a item..Do we love the conversations Karen has with herself. Yes we do.

Murano made fish in a glass bag tied with a bow. All glass with signature on the bottom. 12:31. I think you mentioned a trophy.

For those who didn't know the National Biscuit Company is Nabisco
