Hi Karen, I am an artist...and was an Art Teacher. That Large piece reminds me of some of Walter Graham's Artwork. Landscape Painter...To be honest, there would most likely be a signature if you took the Piece out of the Frame. What a Beautiful Piece!! You have a great 👀 eye!

My husband’s grandfather was an artist and that style of painting reminds me of the work that was done in the 1930’s. The government funded the Civilian Conservation Corp and that extended into the Arts as well as practical infrastructure programs. Anyway…it reminded me of some of the work that was done during that time. It’s stunning.

My husbands great Grandpa was also an artist of that era, and the painting Karen picked up also reminded me of some of his works. She has such a good eye.

The painting is stunning and the colours are so vibrant. It looks so effective against your white wall. I love picking up artwork and I am lucky that I have been able to find a number of originals and vintage prints. Now I'm running out of wall space to hang them!!! 😶

Karen, I'm looking forward to you and Roger getting the perfect booth. You could have a fabulous art wall and never have to leave behind a piece like that unique, (valuable) eagle with eaglet, and a booth will expand your margin for profit, overall. My goodness! I would keep the painting if I were you, you LOVE it so much.
That giant painting is gorgeous! It reminds me of 1930s style - Georgia O'Keefe, Thomas Hart Benton, etc. You might want to check out Thomas Cole and Maynard Dixon.

Get a pair of prescription. graduated bifocals (or trifocals) glasses and you can leave them on for most of the day.

I would use those very pretty canisters without lids for planters, or vases. The closet turned out to be very useful the way you have it set up. I love going on your thrifting travels, listening to chatter about all the things.
They were too expensive to use as planter.

I missed seeing the prices, but I was thinking they would have made really classy-looking utensil holders in the kitchen or containers in which to stow your makeup brushes in the bathroom...

Just found you today. Enjoyed the video. Especially like your "Costco closet" I had one made in my last house bc we had a very small kitchen. I happened to use mine for the top 3 shelves for sheets/towels. The bottom shelves were my dtrs toys. It was invaluable to me. I hope you enjoy yours!

The rug seems to be Gashgai or luri pattern Persian hand knoted rug.
Each provinve or town in Iran have their unique pattern.
Worth thousands of dollars at least $3000 or $4000 if you buy from Persian carpet shop.
The little damage on the side can be easily fixed.

Basket maybe is used for collecting bloom stems from your flower garden. They would lay across.
You're exactly right I remember watching a period pieces and the ladies would be out with that basket and cutting long stems and laying them in there. Never would have thought about that
Thought it might have been a "gathering basket" designed to be used in the garden when picking flowers.

That was vintage Capodimonte to the right of the Aynsley flowers you were looking at. If in good shape, and a good price, quite a good pick up. I sold several pieces that we collected in Italy in 1984, when we lived there. Such a fun trip! Great eye!

I love that painting of the Grand Canyon, if I lived near you I would come and get it immediately! Also, I had a complete set of that Seychelles Pfalztgraf and I loved it. Used it for many years until I found a mid century modern set at the Goodwill that I liked better. LOL. Great video.
