I haven't commented very much, but have been watching you for 2 years now. You are my favorite reseller, and I really enjoy your videos! I am so happy for you and Roger and find I am disappointed when Roger is not with you. Glad he was today. I married my high school sweetheart 53 years ago on 8-22-1970. I am so blessed. We just built a new home (yes, in our 70's). It is just a little cottage but works perfectly for us. I love that you share your home updates with us. May God bless you and Roger. I am so happy for you! Oh - the cat! I have to say she reminds me of the character in Monster's Inc. I actually think it might be her just dressed up for Halloween....
I had the pink, yellow, green bedspread, bedding AND wallpaper to match when i was about 9yrs old (70') AND the wallpaper still looks beautiful, along with the bedspread and bedding! My mom has never changed it in 48 years! I've always loved it, and hate change so she just has left it the same for me❤
Raglan sleeve has nothing to do with being a different color. A raglan sleeve is a sleeve that extends in one piece fully to the collar, leaving a diagonal seam from underarm to collarbone. My mother used to knit sweaters with raglan sleeves which she preferred to regular sleeves.
We are so lucky we now have two expert resellers in one video ! Can you do a video with Roger on how to ship games the cheapest way or any awkard items? I always have a hard time on how to ship something large and awkward and try to keep the shipping costs down. Thank you, Karen!
Carhartt Shirt: good thing about brands like Carhartt, found in smaller sizes, is that women who work outdoors, hunt of do farm chores like the brand too, so will buy those size Mediums shirts too.
This morning I came across your video about Roger's proposal. I enjoyed it so much. You two are perfect for each other. Much success with your new booth. Your videos are very uplifting!
I am going back and watching all your older videos I’ve missed and just having a blast. I don’t know if you’ll see this comment but don’t skip the pitchers like the one at 14:15 because down south we use them as floral vases. They make wonderful vases, especially for those of us who entertain and have gardens. I would have been willing to pay 25.00 for that because I love the colors and the unique design. Just a tid bid from someone who loves decorating out of the box and who is always shopping 😂❤
Your interview/questions with Roger while traveling between the Goodwills was wonderful! Thank you for doing that. It's nice to hear about the different strategies in reselling.
Thank you for addressing your reason for showing things that you don't purchase, but spend time talking about them. I guess that I was confused with the methods of other resellers. I really look forward to your posts..
FYI In Florida Under federal law, new ivory cannot be imported, exported or sold across state lines. Antique ivory can be sold with proper documentation proving that the item is an antique that is at least 100 years old. Mar 20, 2023
Storage Unit Rentals: seeing the photo of Roger’s old game storage unit reminds me of back when I rented Two 12x40 units. I always suggest to people that they line the outside walls (the U shape) with shelves if they plan to store eBay inventory for any length of time. Put the shelves in first, while it’s empty. You can store more and finding sold items is easier. I’ve cleared a lot of delinquent units as well (since it was often how I sourced) and stacking items that way can crush the bottom items from the shear weight of the pile. The last one I cleared had boxes literally stacked, box on box, to the ceiling and the lower boxes and totes were crushed, with many of the breakables broken from the weight sitting above them. 😉
Oh my, the BM comment made me laugh so hard for some reason !!! you are a hoot. Whenever Im down you sure do lift me up and make me laugh 😂. Thank you for all the fun videos, and i learn so much.
Ragland sleeve yes! Not because it is a different color but because the cut of the sleeve that goes from the neck down to the under arm and not around to the shoulder.
I love that Umgee top you picked up! It is a very good brand, actually a boutique brand. One gal I follow on Whatnot occasionally does an all Umgee show.
Love vintage linens. I have a collection of RL from over 30 years. I rotate my sheets and comforters in the winter and enjoy all of them. Would love a RL matelasse. My favorite for summer. I have 3 but no RL brand. Your wax candle is an armadillo. Take it from a Texas girl who knows her armadillos.
I really enjoyed the conversation with Roger about some selling tips piecing out items please definitely include more of that -tips and tricks from Roger because he seems so knowledgeable😄🤩
Dutch wax by coast line for ANTHROPOLOGIE if I find it for 5 or less I pick it up sell easy 30 yes made in China you gotta stop overlooking everything made there as most items we ourselves as resellers and consumers have beautiful items from retailers who import their items from China unless you are specifically looking for Artisan items from a particular country in that case then world market is great. Love youse guys by the way Congratulations on your union & beautiful addition
Wow, love you & your husband. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I truely believe u & Rodger were meant for each other.❤️. Karen l love you taste in painting, putting beautiful things to use. All of your art pieces l loved & lm a former Artist & can pick out good pieces myself, that's why lm drawn to your channel finally. Rodger has a fabulous system he's worked out as well. God Bless you both, & lm hoping for many many more videos on your channel Karen.❤️💖❤️🙏
I would have snatched that 60-70's flower power sheet. I've sold those for as much as 30.00 a sheet. Super sought after in the last year. Little soaking and bluing and sunshine! When I do an end cap check over of my clothes, I go ahead and remove the hanger. Helps check out go faster!
Your really helping me refine and expand my shopping for resale. I've become pickier and more careful since watching your videos and started paying attention to shoes and games!
U buy the perfect amount i want real information. I dont want to see people just shop. That doesn't help me. So keep going just the way u r. I feel like u always have a full cart. Go team Karen. ❤ best wishes Kathlene
I love finding vintage linen. It's made in USA nice thread count cool cotton. I still have 2 sets of miss piggy twin bedding and Garfield even the year is on them 1977. My mother keeps it stored.
Lol that sounds like me! I be wanting to go to the same thrift store over and over! I be thinking my viewers get bored at the same store but that’s where all the goodies are 😂😂😂
Those small little cup were for hot tea. Hat is chipped. Our Goodwell will take thinks back, but for store credit, you should ask at the ck out. That Cat is so cute.
It was so fun to see both yours and Roger's hauls! You guys clearly know your stuff, and I have a blast watching and learning from y'all. Thanks as always for sharing!!!
The Dutch Wax pitcher only retails for about $19.99, so I think you made the right decision. It was cute, but not very profitable. Edit- oh my gosh, those Waverly pillow cases you showed with the cabbage roses on them (Garden Room) is the exact same bedding set my mom had for many years. She loved the pattern so much she had a chair made for her bedroom out of the pattern/material. Wow, that was a lot of nostalgia for me. Thank you! 🌸🌹🌸
You don’t understand! My dad wouldn’t go shopping for ANY reason! And Roger does shop with her. He often finds something for her business too!@@karenkuhr5698
The Ambrosia set you found I couldn't believe it I had that set. I never used it l don't know where I got it from it collected dust at the back of my cupboard for years. I live in n.i and did have aunts n uncles who visited American quite often. A lot of miles between us and same set shows up. It's a small world.
I like the fact that you only buy what you can sell. It makes your video’s more realistic. You can always tell when people are shopping for their viewers and not for real. I aways wonder what they do with those items they have no use for. Donate them back to buy them again the next time? 😂😉 I like when you are shopping with Roger, boy is that a nice man 🙂 but you are more focused when you are alone. I get that. 🤗
Just wanted to say how much I envy your Goodwill! My local one had a wool army blanket hanging in their linens, it was very thin and many holes and they had priced it at $45.
Great haul..both of you! I recently stumbled onto Mellissa's channel, saw her tour of her new 80's home- it was like something out of a magazine-wonderful!
I will be looking for some of what you got in your store. I loved the trays and the pull cart with sugar bowls. That will be a nice center piece for my country kitchen. Great video. I love shopping videos.
Elephant Ivory has to be over 100 years old and documentation has to be with it. The Eskimos are allowed to sell ivory. Elk and Warthog ivroy can be sold as well. Don't need documentation for these because you can tell by looking at it of what it is!
You were so kind to say "Wow" when you saw that jar with the encrusted cement (?) I was thinking of a lot of other words--none of which were as nice. Lori
"poor china"? Poor choice of words. I'm hoping that you were being facetious. :) I'd buy that beautiful glass fern vase in a minute! That cat is quite the aristoCat, I love it. FYI, the "ambrosia" vintage bowl and dessert cups would probably do well in a Christmas photo setting. Roger seems like a genuinely sweet man; good thing you snapped him up LC; someone surely would have soon.
Another use for ash trays is painters brush tray :) They hold the edge of the brush, so it doesn't move around. :)
Just want to say YOU and Roger are by far my FAVORITE resellers. You guys make it so fun. Keep getting what’s yours! 💕

You guys are so cute together! Roger seems like such a gentle soul. How fun to be able to thrift together. Enjoy, God bless.

What a cutie husband, but of course he is married to a beauty!! Great couple and fun watching their videos!!
I appreciate that you show us what you don't buy and why so we can learn from you what to avoid. Thank you.
❤Karen i could not post a comment, so I 'm adding to Debs post: if you go back to 30 & that single MOOSE MUG IS THERE, I WILL BUY IT!❤😂THANKS KAREN❤

That set of bowls with dots are probable measuring bowls
Those colorful cups were sold by Ikea back in the 1990’s. We had these, along with really cute plastic plates. Good memories!

I love the solid white pitchers and creamers, platers etc..the clear glass looks like a spooner
The cat is priceless ❤

I painted that exact little boy back in the sixties at a ceramic class. I’m now 66 yep.
The plastic cups would be perfect for someone with a pool or for camping.
So happy for your awesome sales, Karen! Instead of ambrosia, that set could be for tiramisu. Great hauls both of you!

I love that Roger shops with you. My dad wouldn’t go shopping to save his life!
Roger isn't shopping WITH her like your dad or mine would be. He's shopping for his own business....big difference
You don’t understand! My dad wouldn’t go shopping for ANY reason! And Roger does shop with her. He often finds something for her business too!@@karenkuhr5698
The first stop had so much vintage amber glass, which I know you don’t like but I love it and it made me 😢
I love all the information you give on everything you come by! 😃Thank you 👍👍👍
Roger is a good man. His secret is a nice one. 😊
The shell hole was possibly for a light bulb with cord attached.
Love the top you are wearing that is so cute ! I agree I listen to you and Roger way more often than I do other channels.
If I ever came across a piece of ivory at the Googwill I would pick it up for my self
The cups you had was pre-sippy cups with lids.
Dutch wax is sometimes sold at Anthropologie 🙂
That's my understanding as well.
clear glass etched and on the new side
Thanks for the SHOW!
Loved the conversation (interview) with Roger in the car. As always thanks for the video and sharing yours and Roger's knowledge.
I love you guys. Your so very honest! I’m in Ottawa Canada. Will be with you forever. Wonderful couple. Have a lovely Easter
That covered pitcher. A few years ago I sold a pitcher by the same maker. JB Pottery is now Louisville Stoneware.
With the straight sides on that large fancy bowl set, it could be a Trifle Bowl.
🤣You dropped that $40 dress like it was "poison ivy" 🤣
You guys are the sweetest couple, love all your videos.
The cat with the watch on his tail is fabulous!
Yep, liquid bluing. My granny used it, my mom uses it and i use it...

A Brown B M bowl. - made me chuckle too. 😉
You are so smart about your buy ins! Some don’t understand how this works.
Good evening Karen, another great video. I really liked the brown bowl and cat😊. Greetings from Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦.

Learn so much from you. Trying sooooo hard to not be an 'emotional' buyer. Thanks so much.
That cat is going to sell for good money I bet. Let us know!
It is soo whimsical 😂❤it
I love the cat !
I was around your neck of the woods last week! Also made it to Mother Tuckers and Greendragon market , and 272 Antiques❤️❤️love finding treasures
BLUING !!! I HADNT HEARD THAT IN YEARS!! 😊 Thanks for the video!
Just wanted to say how much I envy your Goodwill! My local one had a wool army blanket hanging in their linens, it was very thin and many holes and they had priced it at $45.
New to your channel. I went to Millersville as an international student from 1990-1991. I love Lancaster. Happy days. X

The metal canon was hard to see through the plastic bag, but it reminds me of souvenirs my sons got at Gettysburg around 2000.
I will be looking for some of what you got in your store. I loved the trays and the pull cart with sugar bowls. That will be a nice center piece for my country kitchen. Great video. I love shopping videos.
the sherbet and bowl set looks like it's vintage Culver, if so, very collectible.
People buy the 60-70s sheets to make dresses with. Don’t have to have the whole set.

The clear etched vase looks like a celery vase. Wide and uniform from bottom to top.
The crowded linen racks would drive me crazy! Admire your tenacity!!
Love your videos. Even better now that we have 2 great resellers to follow. You guys are so cute!
I think the bowl set is a master berry bowl and the individual berry bowls
That was a pretty Dutch Wax pitcher. Shipping costs usually prohibits buyers from purchasing them online-but a great find for yourself!
Love Eldreth pottery.
The bowl and dishes I believe is a trifle set.
I keep the inventory too!!! My basement holds and If I can't find good stuff I pull from that!
You were so kind to say "Wow" when you saw that jar with the encrusted cement (?) I was thinking of a lot of other words--none of which were as nice. Lori
Karen you are cracking me up today! I was just thinking ‘what horrible initials’ on the brown bowl and you said almost the exact same thing! 😂
You and Roger are absolutely the best. You two are my favorite flippers
Thanks so much! 💜
So much fun. Love it.
I hope goodwill comes to their senses
Enjoying ❤always you two are the best
