😂hello. I am a faithful watcher and new reseller. Only a few months but doing okay and learning. I would like to know if you have your offers on all the time 33:35 3
I would like to see the auction in progress, just to see how people are doing and what things sold for. Instead, of just looking at the things that will be auctured.
Love that you are adding more variety to each video. Always nice to see Roger, too. Your love story beginning in a thrift shop is so perfect for both of you loving to thrift. What a treasure you both found!
Hey Karen. I guess I'm another one of those stalkerish, silent viewers. Just wanted you to know how much i enjoy your videos. Action, variety, education, comedy and a true love story. What more could we ask for? Say hi to Roger.
I thought the auction video was good and it also gave us an idea of other thrifting options. Still in awe of all of the merchandise in your thrift stores.
I see so many RUclipsrs who are changing their format to do other things when it was thrifting that brought us to everyone. So happy you realized this.
The punch bowl should sell really well if it as Santa's on top of the tree , that doll is beautiful i bet it's eyes are glass that's what a lot of collectors look for .
Wow what a find, in the doll. I don't know if you cross list but I would definately cross list that doll, especially. Etsy. She's fantastic. I need to move to PA. LOL😂
Auction Videos: I enjoy them, since they add an additional perspective, especially since I worked for a big auction for over 15 years. Auctions are still my primary sourcing method for reselling.
hello, it is „trinkt wie eure väter aus stein den wein“, it‘s german and means „ drink the wine out of stoneware like your fathers“ 😅. you can fill in wine and it will stay cool for a longer time than in a glass pitcher. greetings from germany, enjoy every video😃
Wow that doll is well made, she is lovely! And those crystal drinking glass sets still in it's boxes are a great find! I enjoy going along thrifting with you, even if it's on video. It's still fun! ☺
Hi Karen!! I watched the "Auction" video last Sunday & sincerely enjoyed it! I was unable to comment at the time. I will always watch an "Auction" video. I have attended many in my past & have 'won' many beautiful & historic items. I enjoy the excitement, bidding process, the auction staff & great food especially at country auctions. Keep them coming! Great fun & often much better prices than thrift stores. The foldable sunglasses were awesome & Roger styling them was perfect. So many great buys today. Spode Punchbowl was fantastic. The doll was very lifelike right down to her toes! Patty 😎👍 Alberta 🇨🇦🍁
I love the fact that you are so kind and respectful when shopping. That’s probably another big reason the store employees like you! I just recently saw a post from a reseller that said be pushy and step in front of someone if you want something. 😮
I wouldn’t sleep at night with that doll sitting in the house… 😳🤣 they creep me out!! I think it stems from my Grandma having some life-like dolls that were bigger than me when I was little. 🤷♀️🤣
I don't know why there wasn't alot of views for the auction visit, I love them . Maybe you could add a small clip of you bidding it could be nail biting too see.
I like and watch all the videos you put out but I do like when you go to thrift stores and that outdoor flea market. Also YES for the Spode bunch bowl. They fetch a high resale price, especially for the amount you paid!
YES! The spode punch bowl is listed for $215!!! It is worth the risk. If you wrap with lots of bubblewrap, several layers, you should be fine shipping it. I have shipped similar items with no problem. I usually also double box these with packing paper between the boxes.
Really miss your hard good and clothing hauls. Imo there were so many items that you passed right by that could have brought quite a lot of money. This has happened quite a few times when you are showing a video of thrifting. I guess we are being selfish in wanting more and longer videos from you even though we do realize that your life has changed dramatically. We still love your videos and look forward to them each and every week
Oh my goodness Karen. When you picked up that Paddington Bear I got teary. My dad had a Paddington that went everywhere with him. He drove a truck when he retired from the shipyard. BUT he also traveled the world. Paddington went everywhere with him. He even bought one for each of my girls. When he passed away I asked my stepmom if I could have it. Its all I wanted. She threw it away. I was so sad. It was great to see that he can still be found elsewhere. Keep up the great work. I love your videos!
Hi Karen, I had no idea that YT paid any attention to how long people watched, I’ll keep that in mind on the future. Catching up today, your auction video is next on my list!
Karen + Roger, all I have to say is HOLY PENNSYLVANIAN COW! SO much great stuff, such an amazing variety too. The best part is you two are having fun and you are absolutely right, every new day of thrift shopping is always an adventure, the thrill of the hunt it just never gets old. Wonderful video!
Everyone has their preferences 😊...mine is when you show your basement and what you are shipping. Also when you show what you've purchased in your dining room. Thank you
I can’t believe how packed your thrift stores are! Here in Canada we don’t see that at Goodwill. Sometimes different Value Village stores here get packed but no where near that. We don’t have bin stores either however being so close to the border sometimes I do cross over to Niagara Falls, NY and shop. Love your videos. Kim. Niagara Falls, Ontario.
You inspired me to look for local auctions where I live and they don't do that around here anymore except for storage lockers. Made me so sad! I just started reselling and I sold my first item today! Thanks for your inspiration.
Hi Karen, the quote on the pitcher is german and is a bit difficult to translate because it is a rhyme. Drink the wine of stone like your fathers. Stone is an allusion to the stoneware the pitcher is made of. Love your channel❤ Greetings from Hamburg Germany
I don't know anything about shipping, but that punch bowl is part of a collection that will sell at some point. You could put it out for local sale only, or, save it for that "space" that you and Roger are contemplating. It's really nice. Thx for showing your sales too.
OMG, jealous here as your thrift stores are huge and amazing! In my neck of the woods we don't have stores that big at all. Our thrift stores around here are about 1/8 of this store in video. It makes me wish I could just snap my fingers and be there in a New York minute, haha! Love watching you guys shop, keep up the good work!
You shoulda picked up those purple Oofoos shoes @ 4:43 Great brand and those looked like they were in excellent condition. They resell for $50-$60 and they sell quickly too.
We love to go along thrift store with you, keep it up. That punch bowl is a NO. Too much of a shipping risk! LOL. You are so kind to everyone. Love that!
Thanks for the video Karen !! I m a big auction fan . They are really gun... but i think some people are intimdated. Just go and observe or have a friend take you.Happy shopping good luck to all . Don't worry... I watch them all and all the way to the end!!😂😊
I really had to laugh out loud when you were peering in the backroom to see what would be coming out. Another thing, I really, really miss your clothing videos...the shopping and when you'd show items and talk about each one. There aren't any other resellers that do that, but they all buy, sell and show "chachkees" 😅
🥰This was another great video. You invite us in with the calmness in your voice and your kind smile and your wit.👍👵 You are unlike others who think they know it all.🤐...You are real, like a friend that we all love❤. Thank you as I need some kindness today.
Gosh, I'm surprised about the low watch numbers for the auction. I love the variety of your sourcing: thrift stores, auctions, flea markets, rummage sales, etc.
“Drink the wine like your Father” it’s German, I’m from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Karen, keep doing the auction videos. They add variety to the channel.
I love the auction videos!!
😂hello. I am a faithful watcher and new reseller. Only a few months but doing okay and learning. I would like to know if you have your offers on all the time 33:35 3
That doll gives me the creeps. I'm sure she comes alive at night so be careful🤣🤣🤣
I kind’a gasped when I saw the doll sitting up thanks to your comment! And I collect dolls so they normally don’t freak me out.
I would like to see the auction in progress, just to see how people are doing and what things sold for. Instead, of just looking at the things that will be auctured.
I only watch when Roger is there 🤣😂…just kidding Karen, love you❤️☮️🐾🙏🏻🥰
😂💜
😂😂👍
Wherever you go, whatever you do, I'm right here watching you. ❤
😘😘😘😘😘😘 thank you Maryallen!
Tchotchke is a Yiddish word precious to those of us who use it.
I learned to sew making my Barbie doll clothes. I'm 71 now.
Karen can we just say that Roger is so adorable! He has just added to your already wonderful channel! What a dynamic duo😊🎉
"Drink your wine out of the stein like your father"
I use punch bowls. My family “requires” my Hawaiian Fruit Punch every Christmas morning. Your Spode punch bowl find is a beautiful one
The punch bowl i would pick up and keep ❤
Love that you are adding more variety to each video. Always nice to see Roger, too. Your love story beginning in a thrift shop is so perfect for both of you loving to thrift. What a treasure you both found!
I liked the auction video, like the variety. ❤
Hey Karen. I guess I'm another one of those stalkerish, silent viewers. Just wanted you to know how much i enjoy your videos. Action, variety, education, comedy and a true love story. What more could we ask for? Say hi to Roger.
Tchachka is not a Polish word ❤
Tchotchkes is Yiddish and can be translated as "shiny objects with no real purpose".
I thought the auction video was good and it also gave us an idea of other thrifting options. Still in awe of all of the merchandise in your thrift stores.
We love Goodwill! We love Goodwill hahahahaha and Roger 🤣😉
Im sorry, that doll is so alive its creepy
Definitely would pick up that punch bowl. Nice size. I do eggnog every year for Christmas party.
I see so many RUclipsrs who are changing their format to do other things when it was thrifting that brought us to everyone. So happy you realized this.
I liked the auction video! I used to go to auctions regularly and furnished most of my household with items and furniture from sales.
Such a great way to decorate and furnish on a budget!
Love to go thrifting with you
The punch bowl should sell really well if it as Santa's on top of the tree , that doll is beautiful i bet it's eyes are glass that's what a lot of collectors look for .
Yes I would ship this beautiful punch bowl
Wow what a find, in the doll. I don't know if you cross list but I would definately cross list that doll, especially. Etsy. She's fantastic. I need to move to PA. LOL😂
The doll is exquisite. She should do very well.
Harmony House was sold by Sears, which I'm sure you already knew.
Auction Videos: I enjoy them, since they add an additional perspective, especially since I worked for a big auction for over 15 years. Auctions are still my primary sourcing method for reselling.

Yes to the Spode Punch Bowl!! Beautiful!!

Love your channel. Never miss one.

Wow! what a nasty lady.
Not a good model
Hi Karen, the words on the pitcher are in German. It says : drink like your father your wine out of a stein 😊
Wow! What an amazing doll, and the glasses in the green box are beautiful also.
It's that score arrow pointing to Roger❤😂❤?
I wouldn’t sleep at night with that doll sitting in the house… 😳🤣 they creep me out!! I think it stems from my Grandma having some life-like dolls that were bigger than me when I was little. 🤷♀️🤣
I don't know why there wasn't alot of views for the auction visit, I love them . Maybe you could add a small clip of you bidding it could be nail biting too see.
I watch everything you do…that sounds freaking stalker-ish 😂❤
💜💜😘
I like and watch all the videos you put out but I do like when you go to thrift stores and that outdoor flea market. Also YES for the Spode bunch bowl. They fetch a high resale price, especially for the amount you paid!
YES to that punch bowl, GREAT SCORE - beautiful
Your Goodwills blow my mind. They have so much more in the way of hard goods than any of our stores. Lucky lady!
Agreed, I'm in Homestead, Florida and we have one rack for hard goods.
I’m in the mid Hudson Valley in NY and they are horrible by me as well.
Prices are too high, on some items.
Yes! Mine are terrible 😮😢
She is amazing! What a great find. Her features are just beautiful.
Roger looks so handsome with the shades😊
YES! The spode punch bowl is listed for $215!!! It is worth the risk. If you wrap with lots of bubblewrap, several layers, you should be fine shipping it. I have shipped similar items with no problem. I usually also double box these with packing paper between the boxes.
I would have grabbed up the Spode punchbowl for sure. Beautiful.
I have that Wizard of Oz poster in a frame! I collect Wizard of Oz stuff!
I like the auction videos as well as the shopping at stores. Especially the Amish stores. I watch it all the time unless I am away.
I love the auction videos but understand how folks would like thrift store shopping. Probably more accessible to most people.
I almost tried scrolling on your photo of Halloween skeletons to view all pics. Oh my gosh!LOL
Really miss your hard good and clothing hauls. Imo there were so many items that you passed right by that could have brought quite a lot of money. Yes I enjoy all your videos and don't miss any. The variety keeps me interested besides your lovely personality. Thanks.
I absolutely love what you post! I enjoy everything you post. I like the variety you manage to find.
Love everything you do, especially pull and ship.
That doll is beautiful!!
Oh my goodness Karen. When you picked up that Paddington Bear I got teary. My dad had a Paddington that went everywhere with him. He drove a truck when he retired from the shipyard. Nope to the doll! too spooky for me! 😱
I loved you action house video. Please don't stop!
I like the shopping with the hauls not crazy about pulling things out of the cellar
Hi Karen, I had no idea that YT paid any attention to how long people watched, I’ll keep that in mind on the future. Catching up today, your auction video is next on my list!
Lots of Spode collectors. I’d repurpose to a salad serving bowl or maybe even mashed potatoes for big groups!
Had to laugh when you peeked in the back room....
Paddington Bear is awesome!
Karen + Roger, all I have to say is HOLY PENNSYLVANIAN COW! SO much great stuff, such an amazing variety too. Harmony House was a vintage Sears brand
I can’t believe how packed your thrift stores are! Here in Canada we don’t see that at Goodwill. Sometimes different Value Village stores here get packed but no where near that. Oh Oh Those houseshoe booties looked brand new it might cool down in 8 weeks
Heck yes on Spode punchbowl!
I collected Barbies for years then gave them to my great granddaughters with. Two suitcases full of clothes.
Love that Christmas punch bowl and ladle. $6.99 is a steal. Paddington Bear and Raggedy Ann are fabulous!!!
You inspired me to look for local auctions where I live and they don't do that around here anymore except for storage lockers. Made me so sad! I just started reselling and I sold my first item today! Thanks for your inspiration.
Congrats on your first sale!!
@@LindaKayHolevas Thank you so much!
Watch out when or if buying storage lockers a lot of corruption going on in that type of auctions. congrats on your first sale!
@@lanna7917 Thanks Lanna, don't worry - I have no plans on going to any storage locker sales.
Kim congrats on your first sale. 😊
Use the punch bowl for family or Christmas gift
Hi Karen, the quote on the pitcher is german and is a bit difficult to translate because it is a rhyme. Drink the wine of stone like your fathers. Stone is an allusion to the stoneware the pitcher is made of. Love your channel❤ Greetings from Hamburg Germany
I thought the doll was beautiful! Well worth the price you paid!
Our family always has two punch bowls going at holidays, Christmas, parties, birthdays etc. One with alcohol and one without.
I don't know anything about shipping, but that punch bowl is part of a collection that will sell at some point. You could put it out for local sale only, or, save it for that "space" that you and Roger are contemplating. It's really nice. Thx for showing your sales too.
I love the punch bowl.
I can’t even believe the size of your Goodwill. Mine has about 5 racks of hard goods and that’s it. No wonder you find so many great finds!😊
Karen, you should have bought the 2 collie statue!! Beautiful ❤️
The drink sets are amazing!! And new at that!!
I loved the auction as much as g sales and good will
Love the flea market & the auction videos - better than thrift stores. Although truth be told, I watch most all of them!
OMG, jealous here as your thrift stores are huge and amazing! In my neck of the woods we don't have stores that big at all. Our thrift stores around here are about 1/8 of this store in video. That punch bowl! IT’s everything
You shoulda picked up those purple Oofoos shoes @ 4:43 Great brand and those looked like they were in excellent condition. They resell for $50-$60 and they sell quickly too.
Ah I was yelling get those shoes, or check the price😢
Those purple clogs on one of the new carts looked like oofos!!
I think it would have been interesting to see some of the auctioning of the the items, maybe more would have watch?
I don’t know if it’s the case where Karen lives but a lot of auctions don’t allow filming.
We love to go along thrift store with you, keep it up. That punch bowl is a NO. Too much of a shipping risk! LOL. You are so kind to everyone. Love that!
Hi Karen I don’t like dolls much but she’s very good ,you will do ok with her lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️
Thanks for the video Karen !! I m a big auction fan . They are really gun... but i think some people are intimdated. Just go and observe or have a friend take you.Happy shopping good luck to all . Don't worry... I watch them all and all the way to the end!!😂😊
I enjoyed the auction. But then, I enjoy all your thrifting
Yes on the punch bowl 🎉
I love the auctions fyi❤ best wishes Kathlene
I enjoyed the auction video. I watch all your videos
Yep, Polish, my dad said it all his life.
I really had to laugh out loud when you were peering in the backroom to see what would be coming out.
