Just a thought. As I have said I moved in Nov after 22 years in a home. Even if Rogers driving a rented truck. I would hire people to move everything into the truck. One swoop. It made life much easier for us considering we moved everything into storage and then had to move again when I found a home.

Tie Wraps work great to bundle the Metro Style rolling rack shelves. I like to use shrink wrap to bundle the legs into groups that I can lift, to control them as I carry them up and load the truck for the move. Loose, they're too much of a hassle. 😉

From this point on, never walk back up the stairs empty handed. Carry something on each trip, to stage upstairs that much closer to the front door, so the carrying is not all left for last. You both have a great attitude at this point. 😊

Will you hire some extra help or have a working party made up of friends and family to load the truck? I've found it can make the actual truck loading go much faster if one of you works as the truck's loadmaster (like Roger, since he regularly loads and delivers cabinets) and stays in the truck to know where it's all packed. Then the other spouse supervises the work crew inside the house, telling them the order to take items up and out to the loadmaster. At our age, supervising the job and using younger help to do as much of the carrying as possible, often works well. Isn't that what grown children and grandchildren are for!! 😉
Karen you couldnt set up the shelves in the moving truck n then put the bins on the shelves inside the truck? If those shelves have brakes they could stop from rolling n you can use ziplock ties thoses shelves by rows to double secure them from moving. Something like the UPS trucks have when they come to deliver packages to homes.

When thrifting in Florida best tim is before and after season when snowbirds are here they flood our thrift stores keep this in mind
I would have let the shelves together & put in truck & put bins back on them. Save a lot of time taking apart & putting back together.
