Honestly, when you added the epoxy with the powder and covered up the decals, I freaked out! But then I saw the end result and I was like “WOW!” This is definitely one of my favorite cups and I can’t wait to try to make it! ❤️
Renea Fowler me too!!! She has twins so she has to be...lol or maybe happy to get a break from her little ones. Haha I’m going to go with she’s like me, lots of energy, enjoys crafting and a tad bit of the break lol
I liked it before the gold was added......What else do you think as far as special shapes we could put in there to go with that seem not real fond of the gold love the technique .
Please do more with the thermo powders! I'm excited to use them, but not sure how. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for these. I want the pink... But I'm not going to get any until I see more tutorials with them to be sure I can use them properly. 😁
After the smoke effect, did you seal it? If not, won't the smoke rub off easily? Obviously, I haven't attempted this technique yet but I do have some cups spray painted and ready to give it a try. I enjoy your videos and reference them quite often. Thank you!
could you use the thermochromatic powder with a double walled steel tumbler? or does it have to be on a single wall? just curious if enough heat would reach the outer wall in a double walled. i have some of this powder sitting in my drawer i'm just afraid to apply it to a double walled and then have it not go to clear
my experience just a single walled tumbler I used this powder on my double walled tumbler and was very upset because it didnt work and was not mentioned in description when i ordered it. So def just single walled.
I know this video is a few months old so I'm not sure if you'll answer this.... I've been watching a lot of tutorials and learning how to do a snow globe cup. In everything I've seen so far they add either glycerin or baby oil to the water. Do you know why they do that and/or is there a reason you do not? Thanks in advance 💛
i was so excited to use this when i bought the powder and it did not work, i used a stainless steel double wall tumbler and it should def be mentioned i had to strip my cup!
Yes, I explain in the tutorial that it has to be a single wall steel tumbler or a ceramic mug. It has to heat up to vanish and double walled don't get hot or cold on the outside
Does this only work with the color changing black to clear? or can you use like purple to pink? and also does it have to be a black water slide image? TFS looks great
Hello I’m new to this. Can I use epoxy in my apartment? If that’s not recommended can I do it outside but then I’m worried about small particles floating around smh
Hi, I'm new to all of this, and I would appreciate any help or input from anyone! What cutting machine does everyone use? I'm wavering between the silhouette 4 and the cricut maker. Only I heard that when doing vinyl (and other larger things) the maker has size limitations that the silhouette doesn't have. Does anyone know?
Hi Stacey, Im jusy reading comments to see what everyone thought of her tumbler and I saw your question. Yes the Circuit Maker can only cut 12in wide vinyl. The Cameo 4plus can now cut up to 15in wide. The Cameo4 is also coming out with a 20in cutter in the future. If your new to all this check out my ch. Its delicated to help thoes who are just starting out...
I too was new to cutting machines when I got my Cameo 4 and I do not regret it one bit. The Silhouette software is easier to use for a newbie. I used my friends Cricut before I got my Cameo and oh boy was it overwhelming and confusing. I’ve also heard that Cricut Design Space is always having issues as well. So sometimes you’ll open it up to go design and it won’t work. I’ve never had that issue with Silhouette.

LittleLee and Rose thats right!!!!! And they are adorable little things! Do you have twins and triplets in your family?
I liked it before the gold was added......What else do you think as far as special shapes we could put in there to go with that seem not real fond of the gold love the technique .
I just put wayyyyy too much glitter because I love glitter. you could make little drops of black epoxy

I will try and squeeze it in
Love your designs!!! I'm a newbie and can't wait to get to your level : )

I only sprayed a matte finish clear so the epoxy would grip with no fish eyes
Hi Summer, this effect can only be done with thermocramatic powder not mica?
Will the thermo powder change outdoors in the warm weather, or only if there are hot liquids in the cup?
Beautiful job

Love it
Can I use the powder on a regular tumbler instead of a storyboard tumbler?
Can you add more epoxy with the powder if it was not dark enough the first time?
yes
Do you have to epoxy the outer side?
Does the thermo powder work on a regular cup like a 20 oz hog
Did you spray your cup or just put the water slide directly on top of the white paint?
directly on
How do you seal your outer plastic to the metal? Also why do you use water instead of baby oil for the floating glitter? I'm still learning lol
I’m wondering the same
Does this only work with black? Tried another color and it did not completely blacken my water slide design
Do u have tutorial how to tempory tattoos on tumblers. I couldn't find one if not will you do one. I have learned alot watching yo. Thank you
Denise Mosley you apply it to a cup just like you apply to skin. Very easy.
Love it wow!

it only works with a color that goes to clear
Can you use the thermopaint under resin?
yes
How did you seal the cup??
Like the top part
Very cool!

Do it outside and put a box over the top to keep particles from landing on it

@@HeartHustlePrinting thank you, I will!
@@stacey2979 I love the cricuts!
@@LittleLeeandRose thank you! I ended up ordering the Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus a week and a half ago. Waiting on it to arrive now! 😁😊

Please...wear a mask when doing the smoke effect. The heating of metals lets off particles that are dangerous.
Michela Dorman Summer is very good about wearing her PPE. I’m sure she had some kind of protection.
I was outside. Anytime I am not wearing a mask I am outdoors
So glad to hear that!!!
Love the videos just talk too much.
