Awesome explications Rachel! Thanks for another great video. I've been so tempted to just use my UV resin to make trinket dishes because that's what I have most of but your explanation makes sense. 🙌
I've just got into jdiction
uv resin on you pervious recommendation... love it❤
Great video Rachel well explain!!! Always wanted to try UV Resin brought some a while ago still in the box might be no good by now, thank you for sharing! Hugs Liz
Thx 4 explaining these things!
What would work best for sealing stickers on a paddle uv thing coat?
What about using the resin sealer to go over stickers and the lips edge of them on a plastic bottle? x
Racheal this answers soooo many questions. THANK YOU
Love JDiction UV Resin. Uts not food safe. (I haven’t found a UV resin that is), so please don’t put it where someone’s mouth or food will touch. A 2 part epoxy that is food safe (not all are, I think the one they used is, I prefer a different one) is better for anything that may come in contact with food or a mouth. That said- 2 part epoxy has its own safety considerations, please use proper PPE for the epoxy
Most resins will amber. So would not do over white 😊
Think I'm going to use a UV spray instead of resistance or poly on my sign to prevent yellowing.....here goes!
H! I have some wooden blocks I have varnished and added animals, and words etc to...I want to gift them for a toddler to play with.. do I need to seal these as a precaution? Thank you in advance
Can this be used on leather?
Hi, would you recommend for bookmarks with vinyl and paint?
It’s on acrylic
Ok, you answered. Thank you
Are your tumblers dishwasher safe?
Best philosophy- hand made hand wash.
I currently use the JDiction UV resin & have been for a couple of years now, but I have a question: how do you keep it from "pulling/shrinking" in UV light? I use it on printable vinyl on 3D-printed PLA blanks under a nail lamp to cure, but it tends to slightly warp the blank & then a hair dryer/heat gun has to be used to form it properly. I have both a high & low setting, & as well as presets for 30, 60, & 90 sec -- I've tried various combinations of settings & time, but it still happens regardless. I'm about 95% sure that it has something to do with the resin/curing process as I don't have that issue if I laminate my vinyl instead of coating with resin. Help?!
If you using acrylic blacks get the the ones for heat if they are not the do warp
Would you use this vinyl sealer for hanging outdoor signs?
