    This tutorial was EXCELLENT!!!! I just finished working on 3 serving boards to give as gifts. Tbey are still drying but I can already tell they will turn out amazing! The heat gun helped so much with getting that crystal clear finish! I will have to sand down some drips but overall this project is one of my favorites with endless possibilities!!!!! Thanks so much Angie!!!

    Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant on tracing the recipe, I have several well used recipes that I have wanted to use on projects but have been a nightmare because of the background. I love how that tray looks. The wheels are spinning with gift ideas. Thank you!

    I like to cover the vinyl with wax paper when doing that final burnishing so i don't mess up my vinyl ! It's happened.

    Hello Angie! This is an amazing Keepsake for sure. If I may make a suggestion, maybe
    put the person's name/relationship after the recipe. Thank you for showing the process.
    Turned out fantastic! Happy Crafting!🤗

    Thank you! Have you done a wood burn with a handwritten recipe?

    This is amazing! 😍 Well done you! Can I ask... Would this be suitable to use for a chopping board to prepare food on? Would the resin be okay to use a knife on?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  5 месяцев назад

      No. I would NOT use a knife on this!

    Can we do sublimation instead of vinyl, and seal the same way? Always love your videos

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад

      You can do sublimation if you put something on the wood to make it adhere. Yes this sealer should be find over that. You may want to use decoupage over the image first just to prevent bleed.

    Hi Angie. Thank you for this super tutorial. I can't wait to try it. I have a couple questions. Is there a certain pen that you need to use to trace or just any pen? Also could you use Infusible Ink pen and heat press to wood? That you again for your amazing videos.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад

      Any pen will work with the way I did it. If you use Infusible Ink, you would need to trace it backwards and use something on the wood to get it to work.

      @@AngieHolden Thank you. I never thought of that; being that you would need to trace it backwards.

    Sorry, where does it say it is food safe? No such info on rustoleum site either

    The website and the box says it is heat resistant, why do you said not to use it for things coming from the oven? I guess it would be okay to use it for coasters

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Год назад +2

      I think coasters would be okay but it said not to use it on things above a certain temperature which is why I noted that.

    Angie, would HTV work? Seems like it would be soooo much easier to weed.

      It would! I have mixed results on wood and didn't want to ruin this piece as I love it!

    On toaster oven as long as it goes to 400° it will work for sublimation right

    Is this Watco sealer as dangerous to use as UV resin or 2 part epoxy? Did you wear a respirator? I know you said you can but did you.
