Thank you. After months of trying to push through my severe Contact Allergy with Epoxy Resin and staying broke out with holes in my skin i have decided it is time to sell my epoxy molds and try to go the uv resin route. I am in tears!! I loved it so much. So now i just hope and pray i can do the uv resin.
I just love you ladies!! 🩷🩷🩷 I learn something with EVERY video I watch.👀 I never thought of sealing my mugs with resin. DUH!!🤯🤦🏻♀️ This opens so many doors when I don't want to sublimate, and I can use any cup!!! Thank you for sharing all your expertise with us!! You truly are the go-to channel for any craft!!! 😍🥰💐🧡
Me and my wife are just now getting into making UV cured decals onto cups so we are looking for a better way to permanently seal them. Thank you. This video was absolutely amazing and very educational. Absolutely did not have any idea where to start in this is the first video I clicked on at all you give some really useful information. Thank you.
We can use resin on any surface? I’m new to the vinyl world lol 😝 I actually have a friend who asked me to make some custom tumblers and I want to seal them but didn’t know what products or how to do it. This was very encouraging! Following 😊
I’m not sure if I did something wrong or maybe the material of the water bottle isn’t good for this but mine peeled off the next day 😢. The bottles we used are the ThermoFlask Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel.
Thanks for the great info! It's UV Resin still your preferred sealer? I just made some decals for my water bottles and hope to use this method unless there is now something better. Thank you!
Good morning! I’m new to making crafts with Cricut. I have an older model. It’s a plain Cricut Explore cut smart. You mention using a UV light. When I click on your link to them it has two different lights with wattage. Which do you recommend? I love your videos! Thank you 😊 Sent from my iPhone
Wow that is an amazing trick on how to keep vinyl from lifting on a cup. I have put vinyl on a regular ceramic mug and brushed on the dishwasher safe Modge podge and although it sealed the vinyl you could see the brush strokes.
I wonder this as well. I think it would be great for this. The only issue I have with Makers Magic IS the bubbles so I wonder if I can pop those with a torch lighter too. Other than that, no brush strokes!
How do you keep it smooth right at the top of the tumbler, around the mouth of the cup? When I used the silicone, it left the top part with a rough edge.
Hey hey..what I do is, take a napkin with isopropyl alcohol & while the cup is spinning, keep your hand steady at the mouth area..you'll have a crisp line..hope this helps
I colored with acrylic colors, and after it dried completely, I applied UV, but it reacted with the colors an hour after applying it, and I do not know what the reason is. Is there a reason or solution for this problem? Note: UV dry alone
Do you still need to seal your cup if you’re using permanent vinyl? I’ve seen so many RUclips tutorials of people using permanent vinyl for their decals and cup wraps and none of them seal the decals in. Is this part really necessary? Thanks
Not necessary but recommended. She's using permanent vinyl as well. This is just an added measure of protection because permanent vinyl can still peel and chip off if you're not careful.

I'm just the opposite. Allergic to U v resin not epoxy. My hands were so sore. Awful😢

Awesome video I was wondering can we use a PYD oven to heat / cure our items?? Thx for your time
are you able to put in the dishwasher after sealing it with the UV resin?
I just ordered the resin and light through your link and can’t wait to try it.

Can the cup with UV resin be put in the dishwasher or is it still hand wash only?
I've read on a few sites that UV resin is not food safe even after curing. Is this resin food safe?

This is really cool! I usually avoid putting vinyl on cups just because the vinyl isn’t really dishwasher safe. I may have to give this a try!
Have you tried it ?
This was super helpful thank you! Purchased from your links - hope it helps you out 🤗
I need to go back and look at all of the cut files! I forget all of them that you have added!

Do you have any videos sealing with Modpodge? Does it get tacky?
Have you tried Maker's Magic sealer?

Could you epoxy over the camper mug vinyl as well?
Will the cup hold hot liquids as well?
Would a hot air gun work just as well as torch lighter
Can you use the iv resin on plastic tumblers as well
Do you have to use a mini torch to eliminate the bubbles or can I use a heat gun?
when you say regular vinyl... you mean removable, permanent or what type should I look for ?
also I am having issues adhering to silicone
Is there a matte finish resin? Or are they all gloss?
Will this work on Inkjet Rub On Transfers?
Is this uv resin food safe?
I love your tutorials❤
How many tumblers do you think that bottle of jd resin make? I want to cover 30 24oz tumblers but don’t know how many bottles I would need.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Awesome. I didn’t know you could use up resin on plastic mugs
Can you use this on UV DTF?
What voltage should I get
Where did you order the resin?
Thank you very helpful !
Off topic….Rachel, still into bee theme? Heard there is a ton at dollar tree! Not at mine of course… but maybe by you guys.

Same question as many...is this food safe??? Not sure why no one is addressing this question, seems important to me.
How do you know when the resin is cured completely
Thanks!
No problem!
If you use permanent vinyl do you have to seal?
Yes
I have never sealed, it's more as an extra seal.
Do you still need to seal your cup if you’re using permanent vinyl? I’ve seen so many RUclips tutorials of people using permanent vinyl for their decals and cup wraps and none of them seal the decals in. Is this part really necessary? Thanks

Did you know that Temu sells your personal information? That's why everything is so cheap.
What a cool fact! Thanks
Everyone sells our information
What site doesn't?
Our own government sells our info and trades our labor in the open market, who cares
@@samanthataylor9559Soooo adding to it is great ?? Great thinking process ! Smh
Can you PLEASE get to the point ???
@-BellFire-😂😂😂 best comment!!
