I used oracal and green star vinyl on some tumblers for my family and put them in the dishwasher daily for a year and it finally started pealing off. Some of the vinyl is actually still on some of them. Yes I'm still putting them in the dishwasher. It's been almost 2 years. Still has some of the letters on them. I have about 8 cups I did. Don't know if this helps anyone but just wanted to throw my experience out there. Have a wonderful day. Thank you for this video. More explanation on sealing was definitely needed! ❤
I run cups through the dishwasher with (permanent cricut unsealed) vinyl names on them all the time and no problems! 🤓 new to the cricut space and really enjoy y’all’s content! Started with a Joy and about to purchase a Maker 😀
Hi, Have you ever heard of Quick Coat? It is a Urethane seaer and I use it to apply over vinyl once I have placed the vinyl over the epoxy with it so that once you apply the coat of epoxy over vinyl the vinyl won't try and lift up.
I agree. No reason to look at title screen for that long. 10-15sec is perfect. They could do A small snippet of what is in the video in front of their title page and then the title page and then the rest of the video or the actual video I should say. That would be good, it'd be cool
Hi dear, I really like your videos🥹💕.. But I have one question, the UV resin that you use it is food safe? I want to seal my mugs with it but I don’t know if it’s will be safe or not.
When is the flock next camping trip? I was ready last year but missed it due to covid and having to deal with my dad and his lawsuit. This year there is nothing stopping me if there is one.
Would it be a bad idea to dip the whole thing in the polycrylic to avoid brush strokes? Would it make the project look more yellow than brushing it on?
thank you for this video! im a few months late but im new to using vinyl! ive been making cups and shirts so far and this video really gave me some ideas on what to use and not to use! i subscribed and plan on checking out more of your videos!
Hello, I was wondering something, I made a snow globe on a clear plastic tumbler I have a clear waterslide decal how would you seal it? would it be okay to use a polyacrylic spray or UV resin? and how would I cure the UV resin? with a turner and a UV lamp and how many minutes? what would be best? because it's clear what would be best in your opinion?
Buen dia disculpa la pregunta cuando colocas mod poge despues de secar en el vidrio quedan las lineas de pegamento yo lo aplique y me quedo las lineas visibles del producto
Gotta make sure you get those advertisement revenues 😑😑🙄 I understand, these people make a living off of RUclips. But at the same time, I really wish people would just make a 1 minute maybe 5 minute video of this stuff. You waste so much time just listening to them talk about their life. Or stuff that's not even what the video is about. I hate that all these videos are at least 30 minutes to over an hour long. It's not just her.. They waste so much time. That people with ADHD, can't keep up. Also they're not even really explaining everything that they did they're just talking.. but if this video actually helps people then yay xD

What vinyl brand do you use?
Just Cricut permanent vinyl!
I use polycrilic to seal and it’s crystal clear. Starts off milky but cures crystal clear 😊
Great information! ℹ️
I know this is a old video… But boy you guys it sure helps me a lot. It was amazing!
I finally found you two! Yay! Also, love knowing your opinions on sealing! Thanks!!!

You may want to run a shorter intro time than 45 seconds.
Lol, 45 seconds and a dislike, is all she's getting from me... waste of time 🗑

This video could have been a third of the time.

28:06 for polycrylic how many coats do you suggest for stickers that are starting to peel off?
Can y9u do a video putting poly acrylic on clear glass
You could paint the bottom of the tray then put the flowers and resin after I dry and cure
With the UV resin product that you have linked, can I use natural sunlight rather then the UV light?
Good morning friends

If you put a sealer on glitter vinyl will it make the glittery part go away? Or will it dry and you can still see the glitter?

I just put initials on a stainless steel coffee to go cup how do I seal those letters from Ala.
gotta love another video without anyone showing what it actually looks fully dried and put through the dishwasher.
Can you use the UV resin on just the Vinyl section or do you have to coat the whole tumbler?
Use on whole tumbler u don’t want the uv to start cracking and chipping off
What’s the name of the poly stuff
How do you speed up the curing process?
Great vid!!! Can you use electrical tape for sublimation?
No, and I wouldn't try. The tack from it would come off with the heat and ruin your product
I personally don't seal either. I agree Rebecca.
Hi Rachel
Hi, how do you remove permanent vinyl?
Peel it off its not actually “permanent”
Sealer. LOL
Gotta make sure you get those advertisement revenues
