I love the drawstring cast on. I make soap bags using this cast on. Fill them with hand made bars of soap to donate to shelters and give as gifts. I've also made bottle carriers etc using this cast on. I can't thank Loom-a-hat enough for teaching me this.
I'm stoked my algorithm is finally giving me videos about topics I want to learn about. I was gifted a loom set years ago at a previous job during our Secret Santa gift exchange. Never knew what it was, but I put it up for when I had time to learn. Always knew to crochet and the looms confused me at first. Well, put them up and forgot they existed until I pulled them out of storage and realized what I could do with them. Now I'm legit "hooked" on making everyone in my family hats and scarves and blankets. 😆 Thank you, Alisha. Future me really adores this present. I almost completed my first hat for my toddler. Can't wait to make more things for my family. ♡
Totally awesome and thank you! I'm going to attempt to loom knit a Japanese Knot Bag using this method as a base ❤ Its usually a crochet project but I believe this drawstring method will get me started using a loom👍🏾
Very cool! I think I’m doing something wrong in my knitting. I’ve tried to follow your basic hat video, but the stitches are so loose. I’ve tried to make them tighter around the pegs, but then the yarn moves when I take the hook and knit it over. I’m amazed by how beautiful and tight your project looks in this video. Thank you for your channel!
I apologize if I irritate you but what can you do with this pattern? And the loom is so small. I LOVE how this looks, but not sure where I'd go w this.
I love.loom knitting so much easier than knitting needles especially if your hands hurt...and ao many different looms now a days..and anything u make with needles u can make on a loom and faster...

Thank you! My son and daughter both requested hats this weekend. This was very helpful. Thank you!

Great idea 💛 I have been thinking about working a pattern for a knot bag for a while now. I totally love them as yarn holders.
@@LoomaHatif you do decide to work on that project, please make a video of it because I can't crochet even if my life depended on it. 😂
I thought it can be a place Matt using a bigger loom. Right?
I don't even know what I want to use this technique for yet, but I'm still excited to use it!
I used it for hats, bags, socks and toys
Whaaaat! 😍 such perfection! Haha! Very nice work
I can’t wait to try this. Also it’s mesmerizing to watch. Thank you
🧶

LOVE IT
Wait, so can I loom a hat like this? So it would be from the top down? If this is true, I'm so doing this!!!
This is a cast-on, so yes - if you use it - that would be the top of the hat. And it turns out really nice.
@LoomaHat oh my goodness, thank you so much!!! I love the smooth flat look of this verses the bunched up look.
Ohh que lindo ❤
omg that is magic!
Yep ! 🙂
Thanks, LoomaHat 🧶 I’d never heard of circular loom knitting until I saw one your tutorials! Inspiring 🕊
Glad the short video was helpful! 🙂
Omgd, I love this cute loom, where can I get one? 😍🥰
You can find them on Amazon
Do you have a hat pattern using this cast-on method? Can this be done with any size circular peg loom?
Nice!!
Thank YOU
Thank you :)
Thank YOU for the thank you ! 💛
Looks good but what could i use it for?
You can use it for projects in the round like hats and socks.
Like it!
Great 👍🏽 bcus it’s really, really useful! 🙂
What are you making? I was wondering what the very small loom was for
I so need that
What do you make with this tiny loom?
Can i use this at the end of my work for when I'm making a bag? This way it will have a flatter surface and can stand on its own?
This is the cast-on - for a cast-off ( at the end of the project ) here is a video ruclips.net/video/ctVBY-1oG8o/видео.html
What are you making? I've never seen a loom this size. So interesting.
Hi - I wasn't making anything in particular - just wanted to show how to do this particular cast-on. The loom I'm using is a 12-peg flower loom.
Can this be used like the magic circle?
May I ask where you got your loom
Here's a link amzn.to/3u27eeH
Can this cast-on be used with any pattern and does it have to be in the round or can it be done flat as well?
It can be done flat and in the round and I've use it on loads of project, hats, socks, toys ...
Do you have a full video tutorial showing how to do this? I tried to look and didn’t find one.
I was wanting to make a circle like this to put on top of a project and was curious how to make something like this.
Cool
Thank YOU !!! 💛
how do you cast off)
This is not a full project - it’s a cast on and the cast off would depend on the project.
Can this make a good way to do plushies like the magic ring part
yes - I have used it for many of my doll patterns. It creates a flatter top.
Ok ty I gotta learn how to do this ☺️@@LoomaHat
❤🧶🤩
Thank YOU !!! 💛
Why don't you show us how to cssr off
Because this is not a project video. Only a quick demo of the drawstring cast-on
I think it might be the same as any other cast off.
