I’m working on my 3rd hat for my husband with this pattern. It’s become his favorite and since he has cancer it’s the only one he wears. He bought me some Lion Brand Wool-ease yarn to make his hats and some for donations to the cancer center where he receives treatment. Denise, I want to thank you for such a wonderful pattern. By the way; I am using a 60 peg, 1/2 inch gauge loom and it’s a perfect size for a men’s hat.
where did you get a 60 peg loom? The biggest one I have is 41 (?) pegs but I find its too small for mens hat or a little too tight for womens hats if I use super bulky yarn
I'm sixteen years old and I've been looming since I was in sixth grade. Your tutorial really helped me a lot. I started on my hat around the beginning of last year and I have been super busy since then but now that I'm back at this video with a clearer mind, I'm happy to say that my hat is turning out very well. Thank you.
Thanks so much for this tutorial! Usually short tutorials like this usually require prior knowledge but this one includes everything you need to know and is easy to follow.
Hi Denise! It’s very therapeutic Loom Knitting. I have quite severe anxiety and the odd panic attack every now and then. They’re completely harmless, they just don’t feel that way. As a 39 yo man, taking up Loom Knitting has really helped me. I love your videos with 100% admiration and respect. I just wanted you to know your tutorials do more than just teach knitting projects. You’re helping people who sometimes have a really hard time with mental health. Feeling grateful is an understatement. God Bless You! I’m glad you’re in the world. Have a wonderful Christmas and I hope the new year is full of laughter, joy, peace of mind and good health! 💜💜💜
Your video is amazing. You get right to the project, you don't have a lot of idle chit chat that so many RUclipsrs have and I can't stand. Thank you for this most instructional video.
Thank you for this tutorial. I have loomed hats before but they turned out with loose stitching and weren't very thick. Which was okay for fall hats since it's not very cold. But I wanted a nice winter hat. I discovered it's because I would E wrap around the entire loom then loop the bottom yarn over the pegs. The purl technique really made the difference. This tutorial was very easy to follow!
I don’t have a hook because I literally just impulse started this last night, so my hands are hurting like hell. But I got so excited about how clear your tutorial is so I made two! Longest four hours of my life!

Hello Sophie
Hi I have a question about the yarn . I wondering can I use fisherman wool instead of the bulky yarn
I'm not familiar with that yarn but it won't look right with thinner yarn - you would need to double it.
I love this. Definitely will be trying it
dont its a bad and hard way
Podrá pasarlo en español por Fis
Took me a while just to understand and hand to rewatch it many times. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Thank YOU for the thank you 💛😊💛
