Fun Fact I didn't know when it originally came out, Turok is based on a 1950s comic book!

Me, too. Donkey Kong 64 was one of my first childhood games.
We can finally play Four Swords without the need of the Anniversary Edition on DSiWare or 3DS!
For those who don't know, that method of playing this game was unavailable for a very long time (10 years now was the last time it was made available). This is a great addition to NSO!
If only it was Four Swords Adventures with online play

@@blakehertel7179 Clay Fighter 63 1/3 is rated Teen, so that will go to the regular app. War Gods will depend on whether or not Warner Bros. owns that game, but let's be honest, who wants War Gods, a game that was nothing more than a test for a 3D engine that everyone wants to forget about, when we can have games like Mortal Kombat 4, Mace: The Dark Age, and even Bio F.R.E.A.K.S.?

I love Turok, but not sure why you're excited about this. Nightdive's awesome Turok remaster has been on the Switch for years now and it is superior to this in every way.

That I'm not so sure if 4 swords built into the Link the the Past GBA cart via NSO is a DIRECT PORT then 4 Swords still won't be PLAYABLE IN SINGLE Player mode it was only the Wii U version of 4 Swords where the games AI COULD play the 2nd to 4th players.
I hope you know people as switch online doesn't really have a lobby to get randoms
@@veghesther3204 I don't know what AI you are talking about, A Link To The Past GBA was not ever released on Wii U. It was Four Swords Anniversary (DSi, 3DS) that let you control two Links in singleplayer, either following you or swaping. That same mechanic came from Four Swords Adventures, a totally different game only playable on Gamecube and Wii, not Wii U.
Ok but still if this version of 4 Swords that still also has Link to the Past on it is still a port then its version of 4 Swords still may not be playable in 1 Player mode.

I would hope. Probably would come down to licensing between South Park Studios (who own the rights to the IP) and Flashback (who seemingly own the rights to Acclaims catalog) so if they can work it out, should grease the road for that and Rally on NSO eventually.

Perfect Dark is the better addition right now. It's an amazing game. Tooie, DK64, DKR, and Super Smash Bros. are all great too, but they're shoe-ins. They'll happen eventually. And I'm now optimistic about Conker too.
We're one step closer. Now they put Perfect Dark on Switch Online, so a step closer to adding Banjo-Tooie, Donkey Kong 64 and ESPECIALLY Diddy Kong Racing.

Since now that there's an M rated N64 app, this will mean we'll get games like Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Original Resident Evil 2, Duke Nukem Zero Hour etc.
Plus, since Turok 1 is on the app, even though there's a remastered version of it, guess that would mean that games like the other Turok sequels, Doom 64, Duke Nukem 64, Quake 1 & 2 will come to the app in the future. And again, those games do have remastered versions recently.

Between the original finally being playable on a modern Nintendo console and gameplay dropping for the reboot this year, Perfect Dark is finally making a comeback. It's only taken almost a quarter of a century, but better late than never. Makes me super happy to see.
Finally I can try to beat Perfect Dark again. I almost beat it years ago on my N64 but I had no idea how to beat the Skedar leader especially with him firing that rocket launcher staff.
Once you mark the 3 randomly selected pillars which are then destroyed by Elvis, blow up the remaining pillars with the grenade launcher (don't waste your ammo!). Once you do that, a Phoenix handgun will spawn near the entrance to the trench. The Phoenix has an alt fire function that can shoot explosive shots. Use the explosive shots to blow up the rockets from the Skedar leader once it fires the scepter.
Once you have to make a weapon sacrifice to open a door, just drop your Falcon 2. The Phoenix is a considerably better handgun.

Ea made goldeneye rogue agent and timesplitters is made by free radical design so pretty much timesplitters Nintendo has to ask deep silver because deep silver is a publisher company that works with free radical design and Nintendo has to ask ea games for golden eye rogue agent pretty much

Nah no reason to be sure. Me it's when I saw the presentation of the Mature n64 app. That's what made think about Conker. After this I didn't expect anything, but noticed the N symbol that is from Perfect Dark.
Perfect Dark was an awesome follow up for Goldeneye fans in the late 90s although unrelated ...Rare was just different, they made so many sick games ! 😎🎮
Now people can experience both excellent Metroid games for the GBA on the switch, big W

@@DblakeDeathMetal89 They need to be on your friends list, they need to have the expansion, and finally, they need to be interested in playing that game... Surprisingly, this is way more accessible than we were to play this via any other official means.
@@nickk3077 yea true, just sucks I paid for all this to play these retro games and I’m not able to play a Zelda game I’ve maybe played a couple of times back on GameCube. They should have made it for online local play with anybody who’s trying to play with others too. Like what they did with F-Zero 99 & TMNT latest beat em up game for the switch. That way people can play with others online when they don’t have enough friends to play with. I don’t see why they couldn’t have made it that way?

They absolutely are, however the fact that you can remap the button layout on Switch saves the controls.

Turok is available for purchase with improved graphics and controls. What's the point in playing the N64 version?

Turok on N64 has different level designs that isn't in the remaster.
I remember when I was a kid I had my gba with zelda alttp/four sowrds and only just once played with a buddy through link cable. This is a dream come true.
Yea we’ll be ready to have part of your dream shattered there’s no way to play Four Swords I guess unless you have 4 separate switches with all of them having the Nintendo Online Membership + Expansion Pak to even play it smh. I was Soo bummed when I went to try and play and figured this out. I have 2 separate switches but only one has the online membership + Expansion Pack

@@tinystar3010 And also just because you people like wasting money doesn't mean the entire world has to suffer, if they plan on continuing with the NSO for the next generation of consoles, these systems will just be ported over as they are, you won't have to buy these games every time you get a new platform, but hey, no skin off my bone. i'll tell my uncle you're willing to fork out $70 for each one of those games every time a new platform drops and he'll convince the Nintendo execs to release new consoles like this was Street Fighter II all over again :)

You can use the mirror glitch if you have no friends...
About that the one built INTO The Link to the past cart you couldn't play 4 Swords Single Player and I had trouble WITH THE TIMING needed to Mirror Glitch your way into it but for the mirror glitch once you entered it if you were to use the mirror and EXIT the dungeon completely the NPC that normally prevents you from entering due to 4 swords NOT being playable in 1 player mode IRC would no longer be their.
But its too bad by the time I mirror glitched yourself its AFTER picking up the Red Mail Ganons Tower Big Key chest.
