I'm sure they paid him well above book with the intention of him giving them free advertising with this sale on his RUclips channel. That's what I love about free markets, if you can make money by helping out somebody else or some other company then by all means, who am I to question other people's business.
I've been reading so many nightmare stories on camping world for years now. I'm stunned he's selling it to them. And with their reputation, sure they'll take off the $ they say is needed to fix the defects but watch em sell this rv without fixing a thing, betya. Lol 🍻
You bought that thing to make a buck! Thank Brad and his negotiating skills to get you a wholesale deal. Rolling stock usually decline’s in value. Congratulations!!
I’m glad you were honest, but I can’t believe you went to camping world! Horrible reputation, treat customers like crap! And I would never trust any PDI from camping world!
I've found some locations def better than others. So just have to be careful. But some locations have great managers that do seem to care and go above and beyond to get things done right. Just don't be afraid to be upfront and honest with how you feel coming to them and the hesitation you already have. Of course try to be nice😂 but just communicate with them. And then if they seem responsive to your thoughts you can proceed. If not go elsewhere. Def make them earn your business. As with any other company
I wouldn't give camping world the sweat off my nuts. They don't stand behind anything they sell once they have your money they forget you and that's that. Your just a pay check customer service is an after thought.
Camping World? We had our 2022 Navion at Camping World for almost 6 months. Four recalls. Excuses after excuses. We have it at another RV dealer for another recall. 9000 miles on it. It will be for sale ASAP! But Camping World? Stay away………
Brad wouldn't dream of putting that thing on his lot or website. However, there must be some other lower end places in FL to work with, of course. Why Kansas City was chosen is just odd.
Think about it for one second and use your head for more then a hatrack. Camping world gave him above book and he gave Camping World free advertising on his channel. Seems seamless to me.
The driving +1200 miles to Kansas city to a camping world when he probably pasted a dozen camping worlds is the confusing part. There’s more to the story.
Didn’t you get rid of a Class B to get into this one and now going back to another Van in just a few months? Wow! Also, Camping World is the absolute worst choice. Absolute nightmare experience with them and will NEVER set foot in another.
It might seem that he just wanted to flip it and also get a couple of videos out of it. He's probably going to sell it for $20,000 more than he gave Brad wholesale for it. Something like that.
I can definitely see where you are coming from regarding the Sprinter chassis. That 19 footer is Awesome, and it can be parked in a regular parking space! You can't beat that!!
Nice delamination on the seats. He's crazy if he thinks Camping World is going to fix that. They will sell as-is, which is their way, and ignore pleas for help on that, or anything else.
We are downsizing from a Tiffin 40ft Allegro Bus to a Sprinter 170 we are having custom built at Rossmonster. We looked at all the 144's and the Storyteller was close, but we want a North/South bed with pillows at the rear doors. Going with a Propane Incinerator Toilet, Heated Floors (Aquahot), 1320ah Victron Battery System with Secondary Alternator and a bit of Solar. 2 Fridge setup (one near door, one under bench seat) with a Microwave/Airfryer oven in the Kitchen. 12V Roof Air and 12V Converted Starlink on the roof as well. Cabin feel on the inside with Overland theme on the outside. Bumpers & Racks from OWL with Suspension from Evictus. Picking up the final build July 29!
What's crazy is the Van (new) has cost 3x what we paid for the 40ft Allegro Bus (used). Crazy! Freedom to Park in regular parking lots and spend the night anywhere is our driver as well. The Allegro Bus is awesome once parked. With a TOAD, you have to plan ahead and there just isn't a safe way to roam free and be spontaneous. Not sure yet if we will sell the Tiffin. Going to do a few trips in the Van to confirm we can do 6-8 weeks at a time in it first.
@@MaximusMerideus there isn’t much room for tanks under a van. I thought it would be best to keep that space/weight for fresh water. We have 40 gallons of fresh and a 20 gallon grey. We are doing several cool things! I hope it looks as good in real life as it shows on paper now
Come one Andrew, to say a diesel Sprinter van is easy on maintenance is reaching. My V-10 class A is very easy on maintenance. Basically just an oil change a year, every year!
@@dodgeguyz Not to mention the CCC of those sprinter based units is laughably low (some just 600lbs without even putting water in it yet). Ford 6.8 or 7.3 all the way. Drive Srinters, Transits, Ram Promaster. Rack up 50,000 miles a year. Have Burned thru all of them. Mercedes was beautiful to drive, expensive to maintain. Ford like the worst, Promaster so far good at 70,000 miles. Currently would rate in order Promaster, Mercedes, Ford
What's up with the Cheap leather head rests? They look really worn for a few years old. I am not a fan of Winnebago and am hopeful they keep their nose out of Newmar and don't cheapen them. We just recovered an $800 couch in our 2017.5 Lance 1985 travel trailer with UltraFabrics Brisa. Lance’s Roadster vinyl lasted a lot longer than typical RV spec vinyl but still succumb to the heat cycles. Our cost, buying mostly remnants, was still over $2,000. Something to consider when buying a new RV.
