I noticed that too, but it didn't look like he was strutting....it looked to me like he was walking on Hot Coals!😂😂 I know that the Florida Sun is Hot this time of year!!🤣🤣
@walterabraham5367- Maybe. That’s called a “sissy strut” in New Orleans. lol. Jk, I love Andrew’s vids but this is a strange occurrence because it’s clearly uncomfortable on his part. His personality sells, the thought process behind “looking natural” while walking is NOT needed. He’s a solid fellow, just funny is all. I was interviewed on tv once…once. It was hilarious!!! I almost rubbed my 9 month olds hair off! lol. Geez gives me curled toes thinking on it.
It depends on how much you want to lose in depreciation. They all depreciate from new, but do you want to buy a one million dollar Newell or Newmar and lose 500k in 5 years, or buy a 200k Winnebago and only lose 100k in 5 years. If you are spending 2 million on a coach it better be perfect with no issues with the absolute highest quality.
It took me years to figure all this out so here is my take: 1) I put Newell up there with the Prevost teams for quality, looks and options, but yet Liberty takes the lead... a) Liberty b) Newell c) Marathon d) Legacy (you forgot to mention Legacy Andrew) e) Featherlite f) Emerald g) Millennium 2) Foretravel - then the production coaches but they are a low lower in quality than the list above... 3) Newmar 4) Country Coach 5) American Coach 6) Entegra I like the rest of your list buy I wouldn't buy any of those so I don't follow them as much. Well, I would buy one if the price was well worth it else I would prefer to save more for one of the ones above. Thanks but you should have made this list years ago LOL
I was 2nd owner of the 2010 Allegro Bus diesel pusher 42.5’ 4 slides. The aqua hot went out called Tiffin asked if they could help me. They charged me 1/2 price on a new in box upgraded aqua hot and shipped it, I was up state ILL, So I wound up installing and was hard with friend help remove the old and get the new one in place. 2nd point a lot of couch manufacturers went out business, I think Newell did, I like there couch, Tiffin never blinked.
Really good review Andrew! Im really a big fan of the Entegras and Newmar coaches. Ive been looking into late model Entegra Aspire, Anthem or possibly an Cornerstone. I really appreciate your video's, it really helps me out.
Why does Brad let those Motor Coaches sit out in the sun? When he has that huge storage bldg to put them in. The sun does a lot of damage to those coaches.
I appreciate the time you spend on this video, But I do think you missed a couple of important points in the production coaches world. As the owner of the Class A rig ( diesel) How was you overall experience( customer service, call-in for service). I have had two REV group products HR and and American coach. Both experiences have been top of the line. The service from the REV service center in Decatur has been world class. When I upgraded my HR I looked at both Newmar and American Coach. Because of my experience with the service center It was a no brainer, But the other factor was VALUE> The American coach offer a better value and the interiors are are much more modern. and light than the Newmar and Tiffin's coaches. When you are spending north of 500K, value does come into play as part of what you can count on. Last point American coach offer in my opinion a better warranty than the other class Production coaches,
Andrew, my man... you be struttin' like "you own it bro!" Seriously, Winnebago for Diesel is not competitive. I have a Gas, Adventurer on F53 but I purchased a sway bar. Quite frankly, I'm spying a Newell but also keeping my mistress' of a Monaco or Beaver from Oregon.
Nothing wrong with any coach, any brand, and level of cost. The bigger issue is finding someone that can work on them when they need work. They all break, they all need attention, and unless you can do the work yourself it will cost you a bunch. Owning a Wanderlodge changes your outlook on quality. Great job again Andrew. Thanks again from a long time subscriber.
Great video, but not as great as your strut across the parking lot. Dude, your joy is seen by all by the way you walk. Can you do a Best to Worse on Super C's next?
What's with the Gomer Pyle walk? Looks as if you're walking bare foot on the hot concrete.. Stop it! Just stop! Lol Very informative video since I was in the market for class A motorhome. After doing some research and within my financial budget I narrowed it down to three main manufacturerers; Newmar, Tiffin and Entegra. I scratched off Tiffin due to Thor ownership. In the end I decided on Newmar.
You should have used the S tier to F tier chart so many RUclipsrs use. I consider Newell and most Prevost as S tier. Foretravel as A+. Tiffin, Newell as A tier. But that is just watching RUclips videos.
Successful RUclips channel, lots of travel, pilates instructor girlfriend, surrounded by cool coaches....don't let the comments get you down - I'd be struttin' too brother!
Its a crap shoot with any production coach. I just sold a Holiday Rambler Armada 44le, 2022 model. I had very few issues. Tiffin and entegra have gone down hill. When Bob doesnt answer the phone, you're in trouble. He would take care of everything. Look at an older Entegra compared to the new ones. They gave cut so many cornersand cheapened there coaches. Newmar is still the best, for now
Newmar will be the winner for the foreseeable future as they are now the luxury brand under the Winnebago umbrella (who also bought country coach just to shut them down)
how is the internet for the RV's I'm a pc gamer and my son plays the xbox in two 3 years i want take things on the road with rv's game is other city;s we that's what going be trying ,, should i have rv made or get one and slowly make into what i need
I can understand that with their stratospheric price increases the last couple of years without any major improvement compared to Entegra. Literally 500k difference.
Newmar is out of their minds. Their King Aires START around $1.7m!! That is INSANE for a production coach. You can get a MUCH nicer coach for that price.
Being an Arizonan and a born and raised trucker. These companies are trying too hard with these swishy paint jobs. 90 percent of the high dollar RVs are 90 percent black. It would take two days to cool those things down if left in the heat. I think the rv builders think the more swishies in the paint the more luxurious it is. I personally think they all look ok at best. Give me a pearl white base layer, primary color bay door area, and a subtle designer band with the primary and a lighter tone of the primary. Just like the older rigs used to. Also the weight of these things are way out of line. Just because they have more stuff doesn't make them more luxurious. 45k lbs should be the limit.
Disagree with Tiffin re: Entegra. I have many many friends who have 2022 and 2023 Anthem and Cornerstones who have either sold or wish they had sold their Entegras. Tiffin is picking up their game also. Newmar has had a horrible last year and a half from a quality perspective
Appreciate you TOUCHING on coaches a mere mortal could afford, but more detail on affordable stuff please. AND WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOUR WALKING GATE? Looks like you are not able to walk in your shoes.
We rented a Forest River "production" model & it was straight trash. & sorry but for 2.5 million there had be next to zero problems with it & if there by chance happen to be an issue the manufacturer &/or dealer had bend over backwards to make it right & suck to me along the way. Buying a 2.5 million dollar motor home is like buying a 50 million dollar home. It had beeter be fricken pristine. 👌 If you can't get it right for 2.5 million you had better cut your sales price to below 1 million.
Give both gas and diesel for best I do not like diesel why I was a Fire Fighter and driver We had more trouble in my 30 years on the job then gas and our dept. or city was not they only ones cost of diesel repair was way out of line
Firetrucks are not motorhomes. Get back to us when you are crossing the Rockies or pulling hills in PA. Diesel torque and the safety of air brakes and engine braking blow gas rigs out of the water. Have owned both.
That strut at 8:33 is bizarre as hell what kind of a pimp trudge is going on there, that is easily the freakiest strut ever, or is it a power saunter, Also from 2 min. to 2:20 kind of a swimming arm movement, possibly borderline prancercizing? Very strange.
You have done well for yourself and should be commended; however, your channel 2 huge problems. 1. You don't cover people who were screwed over by your industry. I mean really screwed. Ok. Sorry Andrew but with this video, it’s showing that you really don’t know what you are talking about. Making a blanket statement that Forest River, Thor and Fleetwood are entry level shows your lack of knowledge, does each manuf make entry level….yes, are they all entry level know. The Berkshire is mid level diesel , the Georgetown 5 and 7 is a mid level gas. Then you have the Legacy which is an entry level diesel, the FR3 and Georgetown 3 series is entry level. Then the Coachmen brand is about the same as far as models go. Sorry, but with watching this latest video, I’m going to have to unfollow your channel. I have met really been following much lately. You seem to be all over the place on everything!
Very much appreciated video. A bit surprising to me but valuable for sure. I can't accept the excuses of the industry being. " it's a house on Wheels what do you expect? Things are going to break" or "it's a rolling earthquake". For the amount of money being paid for these top-of-the-line coaches craftsmanship & reliability has to be 100% . They can be easily engineered so that all the workmanship inside including Electrical Plumbing and Carpentry should be able to absorb any tremors coming through the chassis. I can't say anything about either chassis from personal experience. However, I lived in Charlotte, MI for a few years when a friend decided to buy his first home. Foretravel is kinda in their own niche market…they are a fiberglass coach…but they’re built on a K4 chassis with conversion components like valid air slides etc..nobody touches their rear baths…Prevost is tough…Hands down Liberty Coach…Li-on electrical system with Dean Loucks paint job…Marathon fit and finish the best…Emerald…Featherlite and Mileninum build beautiful coaches…they can’t separate themselves from Liberty or Marathon though…only in the price area they separate themselves from them…Newell…largest windows…largest living space on the market…but their basement storage needs attention
Wow! Really fair & accurate ranking of all Class A Rigs as far as I can tell, and we have lived and breathed this Full-Time RV Lifestyle for 7 years. We could only afford a used 3 year old Dutch Star, which we are still in and love. Great job Andrew.
Many people use the term Rig incorrectly. A rig is a combination vehicle. A truck and a trailer is a rig. A motorhome and a tow vehicle behind is a rig. A motorhome by itself is not a rig. Look it up if you do not believe me.
