For a moment I spaced out and thought I was watching just a regular home tour. Crazy that is on wheels. That rig can truly be called a home.
We definitely feel like we have a home now. So grateful!!
Probably 85% of us watching will never be able to enjoy something like this but it’s awesome that you two are. It’s beyond beautiful and yes built like a house for sure. Now with all that I have to say I’m glad I don’t have to tow it or back it. Backing my little dumpy 40’ solitude is a challenge for me. Enjoy and god bless you both.

We are so shocked that this all came about for us- grateful and so blessed! Thank you for taking the time to watch -- there are a lot of Class As on the road that are significantly more expensive so I think we would need to surprised what that % is. However that doesn’t matter- what matters is that people go explore and create memories with the amazing people in their life.

@@gtnoslpthat’s by choice though. They could have a mini or jeep on the deck behind the cab, but they chose to have the bronco, and a bike. Life is all about choices!

- Thank you for this amazing overview! Of course, I liked and subscribed.
- The two of you have amazing chemistry on camera. I hope that carries over to regular life, too. Reminds me a little of George and Gracie. Shiela is George.
- Thank you for showing all sorts of appliances and “add ins” that are great ideas and products no matter where you live that can be integrated into almost anyone’s life.
- Depending on daily life management, this is the closest “RV tour” I’ve seen of a unit that I felt I could live in. By far. Incredibly inspiring (and aspirational) to me.

I would never even fathom wanting something so massive, but the Spacecraft brand is the best by far.
Love the alarm clock, I had one just like years ago. And one thing's for sure, I get everything done the way I want as long as what I want is the exact way my wife wants it. True Story. lol. Awesome RV. By far the best RV I've ever seen, amazing job on the design.
The framed TV looking like artwork was cool to see because I was talking to someone who owns a large yacht that they charter, and I was telling them that they should get framed TVs put on every wall in every stateroom, and even throughout the yacht so that they can change the theme on the yacht and in every room to each persons liking just by changing the photos/video's on each TV.
The Rig is so cool inside, but what your going to do with it is AWESOME!!!

I recently found the first alarm clock my wife and I acquired as a couple in 1978. We got married Dec 17, 1977. It has a florescent display. Unfortunately, the alarm no longer works, so I tossed it. 😢

OMG!!!!!! I have never wanted to live in an RV because I have always loved my space (a Texas girl) but definitely want to look into this …especially if I can get a replica of this one…absolutely gorgeous
I've watched most of your recent videos and certainly the RV Revolution series you recently put up. But I'm so glad you did a more detailed video of all the nuances and extras you don't get to see in the build series. This (dare we call it an RV?!?!?) coach is beyond what many could even dream about! Shiela...you've just about blown your brains out thinking of so many extras!!! I'm sure both of you are so relieved to have this project done!
We're in SoCal, and I saw you've got a Las Vegas Huddle planned..it happens to be the weekend before we go there for the NHRA races at the racetrack!! For the cutting table, consider adding a convenient feature: a 3" or 4" hole. This allows you to easily dispose of any waste material by simply tossing it into the garbage can. It's a small but practical addition that can make your workspace more efficient and tidy.
Thought about that - but then read reviews of people that had that sooo I pivoted - but would be an easy mod. Thank you for taking the time to watch and share your thoughts!

Go for it! We were so surprised that this semi truck is less expensive than a new pickup truck. And talk about a ride and safety difference!!
Cool rig. And huge! It’s funny how some get bigger rigs and others downsize. We just sold our 45 class A Newmar we bought new and enjoyed for the last 5 years. Now we are downsizing. Safe travels.

Are these trailers acceptable on the highways in Canada due you are longer than a commercial semi trailer?
Beautiful. As a former truck driver, my longest trailer was 53 feet. Do you have to get a waiver to do 54 feet?

Welcome to our channel! We are glad you found us! A Custom Spacecraft averages 7-10,000 a linear foot so 40 feet would be between 280,000 -400,000. Much less than people assume - more living space than a luxury Class A and less $ as well. There is a couple companies that do custom Class C builds if you are looking for something that drives like a motorcoach.

is it difficult finding sites/campgrounds this Semi/camper combo can fit into. We upgraded to a 5th wheel, but I intentionally stayed under 35' with it, so I wouldn't have any problems anywhere.
Our first Toy Hauler was 43 feet so we didn’t stay in National Parks - so far not difficult if I know we just are not doing national parks

Every state has different requirements- since we are licensed in Kansas Todd got a Non Commercial Class A license

I couldn't agree more about the single sink in the bathroom. I have no idea what the manufacturer of new units are thinking taking all that much needed counter from us and giving 2 sinks that won't get used. Our new unit has 2 sinks, and i would have loved to lose 1 and get that counter. Your unit is just beautiful, I would love to travel in something like that, although finding the room to setup , might be an issue.

Hey Todd & Sheila. Enjoy the videos! I have a custom Luxe 48 fifth wheel that I pull with a 2023 Pete 579 Ultraloft modified to carry a Jeep. I'm retired but still have 3 kids (now 19, 11 & 4) who got me into all of this 2 years ago (they really did lol) and we love RVing. I've been thinking about a Spacecraft around 53 feet for extra space. What do you think of the Spacecraft so far? Any suggestions on things you would do differently?

14:04 so is the detergent, softener metered? I thought when the front loaders came out that they were metered unfortunately it wasn’t 😅
It senses the load size and automatically dispenses the detergent and softener- super handy!

I cannot believe that they do not use Valid flush floor slides (what Newell and Prevost conversions use) for a rig like this.
is there anyway to get flatter slides? I would think that 2" raise is hard on toes

Finding a spot for that thing must be a pain! 99 percent of any RV park wouldn’t be able to accommodate that😂 sweet rig though
Well we are batting 100% so far of the 5 RV parks we have been to. When we traveled with our toy hauler we didn’t go to National Parks then and can’t now for sure but time will tell! So far so good!
I am impressed with what an amazing job you did designing something for your needs. Quite an undertaking. If you ever need a new gig, you can start designing custom Spacecrafts for people! One question: when I was building my new house (retirement house) both my builder and an architect friend told me NOT to do a folding door across my great room wall that has the mountain views. They said those tend to sag and become unusable. Plus to repair that problem is $$$$$. Did the door manufacturer or Spacecraft have any concerns about that? I'm envious because I really wanted those! Maybe it's less of a problem the fewer feet you are dealing with?
Thank you for such kind words- The company did not say anything about problems with sagging and we have seen several homes in KC with these folding doors spanning over 20 feet - have not heard of any issues. However, maybe there is a special circumstance with your home that could be an issue?
@@SwitchItUpLife Used to live in a ski resort town with ridiculous huge homes that would have these folding doors open to the nice outdoors and I dreamed of having one. When this new home was in the planning stages was when they recommended not doing it. Oh well. I did the next best and put in extra huge windows! 😃

I can't help but imagine how much more rooms there could be in an rv this side. Like I have been watching way too many families living in RVs lately and it's so brutal on the kids ( but still better than ones living in vans) and I just feel like if it were me and I *had* to I would gladly sacrifice (even if I have to shell out cause it's not a cheap lifestyle to begin with) master bedroom and living room space to put even some tiny/narrow rooms ( and narrow walkway) for private rooms. Yeah that would be impossible in a 30 footer for sure, but 54 feet? Oh yeah...

Hi Marilyn, thanks for stopping by to watch the video. We move to a different location about every 5-10 days so we just take it wherever we want to explore. We know we can’t go to National Parks and most State Parks but we didn’t do that with our toy hauler either. We just go close by and then head out to explore!
