Come on Loto Max. We bought our HDT & building it to our specs, thats a beauti and a deal for sure...my pockets just arnt deep enough.. Oh the price dor the truck is a steel, barly broke in...could even go back into commercial use the way its set up. Thanks for show caseing Todd.
It has always been my dream to live out the rest of my life in an RV. This is the best way to do it. You get so much more for your money. Being disabled and on disability means that I will probably never realize my dream. I do have folks like you that share your tips. rigs and experiences so that helps it some. I was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years and mad $1 per hour and averaged 72-96 hours per week. That money went to cover my daughters grade school tuition and our bills later on before I got hurt. I had no pension of any kind where I worked and the work comp settlement was peanuts. So Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making these videos. I will never say never but highly unlikely I will ever be in an RV park and able to meet you in person. Stay Safe!
Love this video! You did a video on ours awhile back (the 2020 Showcase). Having ours for 1+yr it really does feel like a high end condo. You are spot on with the remodeling. We will either sell ours or I will remodel….much cheaper to remodel! Lol
Our friends Rickey & Denise Parker (SOARING TOGETHER) were there and told us about that being for sale. Thanks for the look see Todd. It’s too big for us as here in British Columbia we have a length restriction at 62’3” over all inclusive of tow vehicles. But you should consider Switching It Up.
It reminds you of a high end motorhome. It gives me the idea of finding a class a with a bad motor pull the drive train weld on a hitch and you have space craft for half the price
That’s a beautiful rig, tractor and trailer. He gave a great tour, but, he failed to mention the one big con of a rig like this, no ground clearance. That trailer will high center on a speed bump if the ground isn’t level. He said he likes to camp off grid, I’d like to know where he finds all level terrain in the boonies. Owning a rig like this you are very limited as to where you can get in and out of driveways. It’s beautiful, but not practical in the real RV lifestyle. But I still like it. 👍😃
Really nice rig, well made and at a great price. The owner is also very likable so I think he would be good to deal with. Not sure about a manual transmission, hdt is intimidating enough just on size. In traffic I bet your left leg goes numb within a half hour. Anyway the price is very reasonable and if I were in the market I would certainly consider this. My only other concern is the overall size and limitations that it brings. Dave from Big truck big travels bought a small rv for their trip to Alaska after bringing their space craft and hdt up last time. That is a tell on the practical aspects of something so large.
Not so many years ago, there where no automatic transmissions in these rigs! Then, there are millions of in town tractors, where guys & gals drive them every day, so no, your leg is fine, in that as mentioned, you soon learn the rpm's of where you can shift without pushing in the clutch...been there, done that!
I remember when I was about ten years old I would shift from the passenger side of my mother car when she was driving. I got to the point where I was shifting without her pushing in the clutch. I always liked driving stick but live in the northeast and are roads are in terrible condition and very crowded. I still own a wrangler with stick shift but only drive it on sunny days for fun. As a daily driver I choose my Tesla and have it in auto pilot whenever possible. I think I would just get the automatic in this case.
Oh wow that’s an awesome price for a spacecraft! He seems so nice. Do they want to adopt a grown child? Lol I come fully equipped with a husband, 3 kids and a small dog.
He is asking very, very reasonable prices. The thought of him having this on the market kinda frightens me. I work part time in rv parks as a camp host and I see too many people running big class A’s and fivers who aren’t really qualified. And I hold a class A CDL license so I’m a fair judge driving skills.
wish we could have these systems in europe and scandinavia. i could have the trailer. but i would not be allowed to put a semi infront. and drive it as not for hire. unless.... you could not unhook the trailer. but then again, how would you do maintenance on the fift wheel and so on.
Good. I've been a truck driver for about 26 years and I would not buy a semi truck that is an automatic. Buying my own truck it would be a 13 speed manual transmission
Its an interesting unit but bigger is not always better. harder to find places to stop, to park, to gas up, to overnight. cant take this rig into the national parks either.
This guy has to be one hellava truck driver to maneuver that rig, pulling a towed, around the nation. But he has very few options for parking sites, even doing it off grid.
The law for pulling doubles is the trailers are 28' your trailer is 48' you will get pulled over by the DOT and probably get a big ticket since that trailer is considered a semi trailer something you need to check out Never trust the dealership to know the law! Other than that space craft is a quality manufacturer no other RV mfg can match the quality of build these are made for over the road travel
No matter the price point or manufacturer, always seem to see RV's for sale at the five year mark of the 'ten year rule'. Most ROI to get back before the sharp, hard decline of deprecation.
Spacecraft trailers are the tanks of RV. This one is a deal. The fact that very few of these ever go on sale means they are high quality. So your research CL.
That is a good deal. We have the Showcase 2020 SpaceCraft and are thinking of building a new even bigger one but cost to build what I currently have is $500+
These RVs are great but when I'm camping, part of the fun is not having all the luxury. I like simplifying and getting into Nature! These are getting ridiculous
@@louistaplin4665 exactly! And many use a mobile transfer tank to dump the gray and black water. You can’t get fresh water everywhere, better to have an abundance on board.
Dumping money into this depreciating asset is just plain stupid. Also most campsites won't event let vehicles in this large. Fuel is over 5 dollars a gallon here in California I bet you this vehicle probably gets around 6 or 7 miles to the gallon.
Guess it’s all perspective - some people think staying home and not exploring this country is a waste of time- my dad spent his whole life working so that someday he could go see the country in an RV- something he never got to experience. Life is too short to only focus on what is an asset and what is not- people have different values. Watching my dad work his entire life to not go see what he wanted to see has changed our values. We don’t have to agree with each other - that’s the beauty of it all. We do really appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment
@@SwitchItUpLife I am sorry that your dad did not get a chance to explore this country in an RV. I understand where you are coming from but I believe that these toys like the one you showed here are only for people who have money to burn and they don't care about fuel consumption and cost. My wife and I are planning to travel this country as well but on a new Toyota Sienna van and staying at motels and camping sites when possible which is cheaper and more reliable than any of these large RVs. Unlike most RVs, Toyota vehicles comes with superior engineering through decades of R&D and are built to lasts even on long distance travels throughout the U.S.
We all have different amounts of savings and retirement income.....he just has more than most and know they cannot take it with them.....probably their kids are set for life as well...
I promise the Volvo will outlast a Toyota and the Spacecraft will out outlast any van. You will be pleasantly surprised at the price of fuel when you leave CA and at the variations in campgrounds you will find when you start to travel. Buy it for Sheila. You will not have any more slide issues as well

Thats impressive!! What a bargain
Okay, THIS is an amazing rig!
Wow that was cool thanks Kenny
A well made rig for sure 🍻
Nice rig! Thanks for tour!!! Very interesting.
Great informative vlog!....Kenny's Trailer is beautiful!
I am amazed at the price! Thought it would be much higher.
His price is good for a buyer...50% savings....and a good price for his truck as well....after you learn how to shift withou a clutch...easier...

will need dry hard packed dirt if leave concrete or aspalt....
It's not for everybody you have to be a real experience trucker to operate that one

You will learn not to use the clutch.......easy to learn and you are not driving traffic of towns...

Todd, what are you waiting for? It's a toy hauler for your motorcycle. You need to buy it. You can also toe your truck.
That’ll be nice to have ❤
Thanks for sharing 😊😊😊
What a nice rig , thats heaven to a nomadic lifestyle, sadly out of my budget, but a man still dreaming, his price is fair non the less
Nice rig.
Fantastic price....cheaper than a Class A....
That is a very nice rig😊
Time to sell Shrek and BUY THIS ONE. She always wanted a Space Craft

We can’t take our current Momentum Toy Hauler into National Parks either- just have to decide what type of adventures you will do the most!
What a great price, this thing will not sit long

$260.000 for a Spacecraft and a HDT with just under 400k!?!?! holy %^$&! Just told my wife lets sell this place!

32K rig 48' long with 300 gallon fresh water tank but only 50 gallon grey and 50 gallon black! What genius thought that was good idea? LMAO!
A lot of outside showers with that water tank. 🍻
Well how much water do YOU have in YOUR rig? And IF you have a rig like this how much water do you use in an average day
