I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN LOVE WITH SPACECRAFT RV'S!!! ALWAYS NEXT LEVEL YEARS BEFORE THEIR TIME!!! EVERYTHING IS WEEL THOUGHT OUT AND THEY ALWAYS WORK OUT THEIR CUSTOMERS REQUESTS AND DESIRES!!! JUST FIRE!!! THIS IS MY NEXT MOVE!!!
I love that the closet in the bedroom is full-length. Women do actually wear dresses. Being able to move the bed to make it was a killer idea!! I don't like the TV setup in the living room though. No matter where you are, you will get a stiff neck unless you are watching TV from the kitchen. This customer really did want everything to make it feel like home, but that cold, impersonal gray throughout makes it feel more like a factory than a home.
Mind-blowing! The inside is jaw dropping. I still can't get over how big that shower is, and how nice looking their cedar is throughout the trailer. Must smell great.
A really unique, innovative, beautiful and comfortable home! Superb design and construction! Video was very helpful and very well narrated! Great job all around!
Ok, really pretty, super nice, phenomenal setup, etc... The absolute most impressive part was when they walked in and he closed the door! ...silence... WTF?! So damned impressive!
Robust and fully customizable to the point where they design with the customer. Other brands in the price point are only semi-customizable and will only let you do so much. Spacecraft wins hands down for their engineering too. Electrical and plumbing with the best systems, wiring looms and plumbing manifolds. No rats nest of wires and loose Pex pipe like competitors.
Obviously the owner will be incredibly limited to not only the places he can drive to, but the places where he can "camp". I'm a OTR 18 wheeler driver and seriously considered living in a RV fulltime. If I had the money, you could live in this rig fulltime. You could shutdown at any travel center(aka truck stops) anytime. The hard part would be finding dump stations that you can get in and out easily to dump your black water/gray tanks
That was the first thing I thought of...then there's quite a few RV spots that just can't accommodate the large bus style RVs so this would be a no-go The price this would cost is so much that anyone that could afford one likely has multiple homes and property to camp on themselves
He said in the video his tractor has the capability of hauling 100 gallons of fresh water in and a separate tank to haul 100 gallons of black water out.
Dump stations at loves and pilots across the country. I’m sure the other ones have them also like TA. You can get water and propane also. Get creative with parking just like we do in a big rig.
What is the interior wall material? There are super durable, fire rated, but heavy comercial grade panels that use an elastic polymer "plaster". You can hammer nails for pictures as they are structural. Great sound proofing especially over sprayed closed foam. Btw are these trailers engineered for flex? I just hope the guy didnt opt for drywall. Im checking out your web site. I love the potential solar output, pumped into that enormous bank of litiums. Deisel can keep those cells warm when lithiums have the most trouble. I also like the cleanable interior. Im sure you've built Newman or Provost level interiors but the power system on this rig is the best Ive seen.
A fantastic Camper.. A true dream.. only one question: is this going to be hard to find a camping spot that can fit this thing? Either way, it's the finest camper on the road.
I just wish some of these national trailer shows would come up to Minnesota once awhile. Different kind of trailer for sure if you have the cash to do it. Makes my wonder what kind of rig will be pulling it. It seems to me the trailer axles are too far forward and the weights would be off and the tail end would hit the ground but I do see beefy caster rollers on the end of the trailer for those bad spots Granted the weight of the truck and trailer will be way under to 80,000 pound limit such as they are for the upper Midwest such as Minnesota. But if this thing roams around California I understand the trailer axles have to be set at certain point. At 29.18 those marker lights that stick out I can see those are the first things that are going to break off when that trailer is in use. To me those lights are a bad idea in my opinion. Yes I could see myself in that trailer too and I have the license to drive and pull that trailer ( class A commercial) but that does not matter for a not for hire rig setup. One this is for sure you never have to own a house when you have this roaming the byways of America
how do you get by the laws for each state for rv"s michigan the longest rv can only be 45 feet long and other states are like 35 feet long and a 53 foot trailer you need permits for that by federal law so I would say to anyone thinking about buying one of these trailers to do your investigations because you may buy something you can't use or get rid of
Man what an amazing trailer! I think I would’ve gone with 2@450’s or even 3 vs 250v’s on the solar controllers. 9000 ah at 12v would take around 5 days to charge (maybe more) even in perfect conditions. So, where’s the genset? 2 of the 27kwh batteries would have been plenty and not under paneled for that rig. But what do I know… these guys have been at it for a while. 🤙🏼
Genset is the APU on the hauler. They mentioned that, actually. The reason they over dimensioned the batteries is to charge the car, they can accumulate days of solar and all the excess from the alternators/apu on the main rig and charge the car fully every few days even if the car is fully depleted.
It looks amazing. My biggest nitpick is the beautiful TV in the living room faces the kitchen, no couches. Not the best placement. But other than that, everything looks amazing
I have had the chance to tour there place. It’s awesome. We wanted a spacecraft had a design we wanted to build but they want half down and the other half when completed… no financing.
4:40 that many batteries is enough juice to power my house 24 hours a day for 5 days. Without any solar input. The fact that they have 10k solar, they would be able to top that off so fast
Volvo tractors are the best, better fuel efficiency (9.25-10 mi/gal), the interior can be converted to a seating area, better suspension (Freightliner is the worst, but not by much), and they drive as easily as driving a car!, msrp: around $200, 000 as opposed to around $150K for most other brands.
4800lb electric car, semi trailer chassis, 600gals of water/ 600 gals of waste in stainless steel tanks. 22,000lb loaded Volvo VNL860 tractor. 78,000lbs is the weight on the CAT scales of truck and trailer.
Seems like a beautiful unit. However, What campground can you use it in? Seems like you would have to go to BLM land, only. Not every state has that. It just seems to be a bit much.
Cameraman talks about this is a solution to the insane power bills...this is a huge solution since it's off grid...LOL but it's like 1Mil or something...Not exactly an option for 98% of the population
@andrewkeech9605 I have one I have been driving trucks since 1983. I have a hard time with the idea that anyone can legally drive a 57' trailer down the road, but a company hauling freight cannot. Not only that, I remember when 53' trailers first came out, they were not allowed off the interstate past the first mile. There are very few places that RV'S go that you could take this thing.
@@carlgshock Spacecraft make a lot of these 57’ trailers for the circus industry. They have for a long time. I have no problem booking RV parks that can handle this length. Notice the RO water system? He can pull water from a lake or stream with a transfer pump and clean it as he needs. Honestly if I was spending this much money I would probably get a yacht instead.
Most can't or don't need to be driving a rig this large anyway. Something doesn't have to be for all or available to everybody. Not everyone is in same tax bracket nor should be.

So when the battery’s take a crap how expensive are the new batteries

Those hinges on the storage cabinets don't look all that beefy. They're thin, stamped hinges.
So beautiful! The price?
Po boys could never afford sophistication like that. I bet the owner manual is an inch thick if not thicker, beautiful piece ofwork!
Badass Unit 😎
What’s the cost of a trailer like that?

Yes

Lol, for $300k you get just the shell. This unit is well over $1million.
30 years you pay for this rig. Now a home is really expensive. So the sale price may make sense for some. To each their own!!!!

If the ramp gets muddy, your bed has a muddy headboard?
Great point, in muddy terrain we’ve planned to use disposable 15” wide stretch wrap for the 10” wide EV tires on this trailer.
